David N. Wiggins
AURORA - David Neal Wiggins, 60, of Aurora, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003.
He was born Dec. 4, 1942, in Geneva, the son of James and Charlotte Wiggins.
He was retired as a cook at a nursing home.
Survivors include his mother, of Geneva; his wife, Janet; and several relations living in the greater Cleveland area, including a daughter, Wendy Bellamy, and stepchildren Kirby Heintzelman, Robin Collins and Jenifer Arbogast; and grandchildren Spencer Bryce, and Chelsea and Christopher Gross.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Khadija Abdul Alim.
Service is 12:30 p.m. Friday at Lucas Memorial Chapel, 5555 Bartlett, Bedford Heights. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. today, and the hour preceding the service, at the funeral home.
Robert E. Campbell
HUDSON - Robert E. Campbell, 85, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at Crown Center at Laurel Lake in Hudson.
He was born March 23, 1917 in Ashtabula, the son of Robert and Mary Campbell, and lived there before moving to Willoughby in 1966. He had resided at Laurel Lake since 2001.
Mr. Campbell was a member of Willoughby United Methodist Church, a veteran of World War II and served as a B-24 heavy bomber pilot in the U.S. Army Air Force.
Mr. Campbell was a former member of the Cleveland and Willoughby Chambers of Commerce, Cleveland Engineering Society, AOPA, AMA and ASM International.
He was active in volunteer work in the American Red Cross, VITA and TCE Income Tax Counseling for the IRS and score counseling for the Small Business Administration.
Mr. Campbell retired as vice president of operations from True Temper Corporation in 1973, after 37 years of service with the company.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma; daughters, Jacqueline Lehman and Joyce Matin; grandchildren, Kathleen, James, Thomas and Nicole Lehman, Suzie Matin Bowman and Philip Matin; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will take place in the Chapel at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Paul Beal officiating.
No calling hours will be observed.

Michael J. Simpson
COLUMBUS - Michael Joseph Simpson, 75, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, at Kobacker House after a lengthy illness.
He was born Nov. 2, 1927 in Ashtabula, the son Michael and Marion Simpson.
After graduating from Conneaut High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he enjoyed a 28 year career.
He was given numerous awards for distinguished service to his country, including an award bestowed by President Richard M. Nixon.
He served his country at bases in Spokane, Wash., Dover, Del., Naples, Italy, Thailand, Sumter, S.C., Wiesbaden, Germany, Austin, Texas, and Syracuse, N.Y.
After retiring from the Air Force, he attended Kent State University.
Mr. Simpson held other positions at various corporations and finished his working career as a purchasing agent for Doctor's Hospital in Columbus.
He was a resident of Powell for the past 17 years and was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Patricia of Columbus; sons, Michael of Springfield, Va., Mark of Stow, Douglas of Powell, and Patrick of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Kyle, Brooke, Sarah and Erin; three brothers and two sisters.
Preceding him in death were his parents; Michael and Marion; and a brother, Tommy.
At Mr. Simpson's request no calling hours or service will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House Hospice at Riverside and Grant in Columbus.

Stanley F. Wrana
SEVEN HILLS - Stanley F. Wrana, 80, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at Akron General Medical Center.
He was born April 25, 1922, in Cleveland, the son of Apolonia and Joseph Wrana.
He was a flight officer/navigator in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Wrana was the founder, owner and operator of Rainer Machine and Tool, which began on Fleet Avenue in 1950. He then moved the company to Garfield Heights.
Mr. Wrana built a greenhouse, where he raised orchids. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, card games, golfing, fishing, gardening, building model airplanes and various carpentry projects.
He also was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians.
He was a member of St. Columbkille Church, the Seven Hills Golden Agers and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rita (Pawlowski); two sons, David of Omaha, Neb., and Robert of Painesville; two daughters, Beth Makselan of Geneva, and Rita Stessney of Ashtabula; 12 grandchildren; and three sisters, Dorothy Pisnar, Clara Oleszewski and Gini Kohler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven sisters, Helen Woznicki, Lucy Rembish, Celia Mazurowski, Sophie Shade, Julia Borecek, Anna Taylor and Angeline Wrana; and four brothers, John, Leon, Louie and Jack Wrana.
Funeral service will be 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Golubski Funeral Home, 5986 Ridge Road, Parma. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Columbkille Church, 6740 Broadview Road, Seven Hills.
Calling hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Instead of giving flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Helen Y. Persily
CANAL WINCHESTER - Helen Yuill Persily, 78, of Canal Winchester, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born May 9, 1924, in Cleveland, the daughter of Henry and Mamie (Niemeyer) Hurshman, and had lived in Canal Winchester since May 2001. She was a former resident of Willoughby, Geneva-On-The-Lake and Madison.
She retired from Glenview Insurance in Cleveland after eight years of service. She also worked 17 years at Gehring's Insurance Agency in Madison.
She volunteered at Homesafe, Contact in Ashtabula, and Lake West Hospital.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Yuill of Marengo, Ill., Janice Stoots of Groveport, and Nancy Bratys of Moore, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, John Yuill, in 1975; her second husband, Joseph Persily, in 1992; two sisters, Lillian Zavodny and Evelyn Napolz; and two brothers, Alvin Hurshman and Norman Hurshman.
Service is 7 p.m. Friday at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. Burial will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison.

Edgar L. Price
YOUNGSTOWN - Edgar L. Price, 37, of Youngstown, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002.
Edgar (Poe) was born Sept. 8, 1965, in Youngstown, the son of Patricia (Kritter) McSkimming of Austintown, Robert E. Price of Akron, and Thomas Sr. and Judy McSkimming of Ashtabula.
Survivors also include four sisters, April Dabney of Michigan, Amy and Lisa Price of Akron, and Lori Miller of Ashtabula; two brothers, Robbie Price and Tom McSkimming Jr., of Ashtabula; and a grandmother, Helen L. Kritter of Austintown.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Timmy McSkimming.
He worked as an auto body technician and enjoyed camping, a pursuit he developed as a Boy Scout.
Service is 10 a.m. Friday at St. Christine's Church in Austintown.

Thomas Berry
NOKOMIS, Fla. - Dr. Thomas P. Berry, 84, died Monday, July 29, 2002, at his home.
Born June 29, 1918, in Cleveland, he was the son of Thomas and Marie (Streidl) Berry.
Formerly of Kinsman, Dr. Berry had lived in Florida for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., and a 1944 graduate of Hahneman College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa.
He married Jean Newton on July 6, 1946,
Dr. Berry practiced family medicine in Kinsman from 1949 until his retirement in 1982.
A Korean War veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy as a physician abroad a Navy destroyer. Dr. Berry was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying his own plane. He also was an avid reader and golfer.
Survivors include a daughter, Shayne Harnett of Kinsman; a son, Geoffrey of Philadelphia, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Jane Berry of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife and a son, Thomas Jr. in 1997.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
