Floyd R. Bush
DELAWARE - Floyd R. Bush, 69, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at his home.
He was born July 23, 1933, in Andover, the son of Clyde W. and Alice (McPheron) Bush.
Mr. Bush was valedictorian of the Mecca High School Class of 1950. In 1955, he graduated at the top of his class from General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich., with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He worked for Packard Electric in Warren, Prodex in Fords, N.J., HPM in Mount Gilead, and the Cloeren Co. in Orange, Texas. While working for Cloeren, he moved to Delaware in 1994, continuing to work from home until he retired Dec. 31, 2002.
Throughout his career, he traveled the world and spent many weeks away from home, in Asia, Australia, Africa and Europe.
Mr. Bush's hobbies included reading, sports, fishing in Canada and playing bridge. He was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Society of Plastics Engineers.
He attended Delaware Bible Church and always was faithful in taking his children to church as they grew into adulthood.
Mr. Bush married Jean (Blair) Sept. 2, 1952.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Karen Eckhardt of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Lynnette Clouse of Athens; three sons, Eric Bush of Marion, Bret Bush of Silver Springs, Fla., and Mike Bush of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, Erica Eckhardt, Emily J. Eckhardt, Ethan Eckhardt, Adam F. Bush, Heather Bush, Matthew Bush, Bobbie Jean Bush, Sarah K. Bush, Noah Clouse, Micaiah Clouse, Alan Bush and Reagan Bush; a sister, Edna Shuminski of Windsor; and a brother, Duane Bush of Warren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman. His son-in-law, the Rev. Robert Eckhardt, pastor, and the Rev. Marvin Hintz, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Eileen Potter
NORTHFIELD CENTER - Eileen Potter, 84, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Aurora Manor in Aurora.
She was born July 21, 1918, in Cleveland, the daughter of Clarence and Mabel (Van Nostran) Christoffersen.
Formerly of Solon and Middlefield, she had lived in Westlake since 1997. A graduate of Solon High School, she was a member and past matron of Eastern Star of Parkman. She also had been active with the Middlefield Volunteer Fire Department's Women's Auxiliary when she was younger. In addition, she was a member of Good Sam Camping.
She married Alfred "Fritz" Potter June 1, 1940. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, James Potter of Minneapolis; a daughter, Carol Hayes of Northfield Center; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1990, and by a brother and a sister.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Russell Golden Rule Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St., Middlefield. The Rev. William Norman, of the First United Methodist Church in Middlefield, will officiate.
Burial will be in Middlefield Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

LaVerne M. Cailor
HAMPTON, Va. - LaVerne M. "Skip" Cailor Jr, 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002 at Hampton Sentara General Hospital, Hampton, Va.
Mr. Cailor was born June 7, 1936 in Youngstown, the son of LaVerne M. and Ann Rae (Miles) Cailor.
He was a longtime resident of Youngstown and graduated from South High School.
Mr. Cailor attended Brown University, Miami University and Youngstown College.
He worked as a quality control manager at Clark Rubber and Plastics in Cleveland, and retired in 1996 as a sales manager at Newport News Shipbuilding in Virginia, where he resided for the last 15 years.
Mr. Cailor was past president of the Four Square Club and a member of Boardman United Methodist Church.
He married Lucy June (Liberatore) of Boardman April 8, 1960, the mother of his three children, for 21 years and later married Jane May (Gordon) of Geneva for five years.
Survivors include his sons, Randall Frank Cailor of Lilburn, Ga., and Bradley Scott Cailor of Dublin; a daughter, Cheryl Anny Tarantino of Boardman; five grandchildren, Tony and Carmen Tarantino, Jennifer, Steanie, and Michelle Cailor; and a sister, Margaret Jane McLean of Shorts Hills, N.J.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Sue Wessel.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at Forest Lawn Chapel, Youngstown.
Calling hours will be one-hour prior to service at the cemetery.

Robin D. Lampela-Manzo
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS - Robin D. Lampela-Manzo, 44, of Highland Heights, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at Lake West Memorial Hospital of Willoughby.
She was born Sept. 22, 1958, in Ashtabula.
Survivors include her husband, Clement Jr.; two sons, Anthony and Michael; a daughter, Angela; her parents, Robert and Barbara Lampela, and Dawn Jones; three brothers, Ric, Bradley and Brandon Lampela.
She was preceded in death by her brother Robert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Road, Highland Heights.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the DiCicco and Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights, which is in charge of arrangements.
Eino Pahkakangas
JARVENPAA, Finland - Eino Pahkakangas, 69, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002.
He was born May 18, 1933, in Evijarvi, Finland. He was a resident here for 40 years.
Mr. Pahkakangas was retired from the Rockwell Brake Division.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary Leavitt of Ashtabula; a son, Kari Pahkakangas of Ashtabula; a granddaughter Ami Pahkakangas; a grandson, James Williams; two great-granddaughters, Taylor Kaylee and Morgan Williams; a great-grandson, Nas'r Bradley; a brother, Kalevi Kangas of Ashtabula; and a sister, Helevi Nurkka of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen (Kotamaki); and a brother, Aulis Pahkakangas.
Burial will be in Evijarvi, Finland.
Margaret A. Rozman
RICHMOND TOWNSHIP - Margaret A. Rozman, 56, of State Route 7, died Friday, Aug., 9, 2002, at her home.
She was born July 16, 1946, in Caryville, Tenn., the daughter of Elbert and Ellen (Wilson) Humphrey. She had been an Andover-area resident for more than 20 years and attended the former New LymeDeming High School.
She worked as an operator-janitor at Andover Industries for more than 14 years.
Mrs. Rozman enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Cherry Valley Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a daughter, Gaylene D. Baker of Williamsfield Township; three sons, Rodney T. of Kinsman, Michael L. of Nicholasville, Ky., and Randall L. of Winchester, Ky.; her mother, of LaFollette, Tenn.; three sisters, Wanda Silcox and Nina Cole, both of LaFollette; four brothers, Isaac Humphrey of New Lyme Township, Clarence Humphrey of McEwen, Tenn., Tom Humphrey of LaFollette, and John Humphrey of Gonzales, La; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Timothy S.; a sister, Betty Humphrey; and three brothers, Clyde, Arthur (Bogie) and Boyd Elbert Humphrey.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, with The Rev. Lester A. Bolen officiating. Interment will be in Richmond Center Cemetery.
Calling hours will be noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wanda M. Priester
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Wanda M. Priester, 88, formerly of Rock Creek, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Gulf Coast Recovery Care Center in Cape Coral, Fla.
She was born Jan. 15, 1914, in Ashville, N.C., the daughter of Malcolm and Katherine (Thomas) Ramsey.
She worked as a switchboard supervisor for Southern Bell.
Mrs. Priester enjoyed reading and music. She was a member of the Travelers Club of Rock Creek and did volunteer work at the Rock Creek school for many years.
She was a member of the Rock Creek Community United Methodist Church, where she was an organist for 20 years, and Hope United Methodist Church of Cape Coral, Fla.
Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Rell of Marco Island, Fla., and Rebecca Ashcraft of Cape Coral, Fla.; two sons, Robert of Atlanta, Ga., and James of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry W., on Sept. 5, 1989; a son, David; four brothers; and four sisters.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Paine-Simpson Funeral Home, 3119 W. Water St., Rock Creek, with the Rev. Dae Sob Yoon of Rock Creek United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Rock Creek.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
