Alma E. Martin
DEERFIELD - Alma E. Martin, 80, died Saturday, March 22, 2003, in Alliance. She was born July 13, 1922, in Lenox, the daughter of Elmer and Bernice (Lemmon) Evans.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, William H. Martin Jr., of Deerfield; five sons, Robert F. Martin of Diamond, Elmo S. Martin of Sheffield, Vt., Thomas A. Martin of Newton Falls, John P. Burt and Randy N. Martin, both of Ravenna; four daughters, Tammy A. Raabbe of Alliance, Antonnia J. Burnworth of Senecaville, Teresa A. Douglas of Deerfield, and Martha A. Walden of Cincinnati; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wood-Kortright Funeral HomeRavenna Chapel, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. The Rev. Jody R. Hill will officiate.
Calling hours are 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, and 10 a.m. until the time of service, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit.

Raymond F. Heath
OROVILLE, Calif. Raymond Frederick Heath, 86, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, in Oroville, Calif.
He was born Sept. 24, 1916, in Ashtabula, the son of Ross Gilman and Lena (Sunbury) Heath.
He moved to Richmond Center, in 1926 and attended Richmond Center School, graduating from Andover High School in 1934.
He began active duty in 1941 from Ashtabula County, serving in the 13th Armored Division until 1945. After the war, he settled in Oroville, Calif. and worked for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company until retirement.
He was married on Oct. 26, 1952.
Mr. Heath was active in the community and his church. He enjoyed military reunions and building a summer home with his family.
He is survived by his wife Genevieve, of Oroville, Calif.; daughter, Heather, of Phoenix, Ariz., three stepchildren, Faith of Kansas, Roy of Pennsylvania and James of California; and a brother, Russell W. Heath of Andover.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral is 2 p.m. today at The First United Methodist Church, Oroville, Calif. Arrangements are being handled by Scheer Memorial Chapel, 2410 Foothill Blvd., Oroville, Calif, 95966.
Charles Longley
HARTFORD Charles Longley, 76, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 26, 1926, in Masury, the son of Charles I. and Etta (Davis) Longley.
A member of the Army, he served in Panama during World War II.
He was formerly a truck driver for Copey's Transfer and Frank Cross Trucking in Sharon, Pa. He retired in 1997 from the Ohio Department of Transportation, where he worked for 23 years.
Mr. Longley was a member of the Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club. He enjoyed reading, watching auto racing, gardening and caring for animals. He was a great storyteller.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Hodom), whom he married November 20, 1948; two daughters, Barbara Longley and Bonny Michael, of Hartford; two sons, Charles Longley II and Frank Longley, of Hartford; two sisters, Doris Stabo of Brunswick, Maine and Edna Rado of Sharon, Pa.; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and four brothers.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 Route 7, Hartford. The Rev. Dale Thomas of Hartford United Methodist Church will officiate. Calling hours are noon until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Timothy P. Nelson
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Timothy P. Nelson, 46, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, N.M.
He was born Oct. 9, 1956, in Painesville, to Irene (Dzurilla) and Richard N. Nelson. He lived in Albuquerque, N.M. nine years.
Mr. Nelson was a 1974 graduate of Madison High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving for 21 years. He was stationed in Germany to support Operation Desert Storm.
Mr. Nelson was working as an technician analyst with Northrop Grumman at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, N.M.
He was active in the Big Brother/Big Sister program and was an experienced canine handler. He was involved in the Kirtland Air Force Base family support group.
Survivors include his parents of Madison; sisters Deborah Loehr of Madison and Laurie Loepp of Fairport Harbor; and brother Christopher Nelson of Madison.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, officiated by the Rev. Luigi Miola of Immaculate Conception Church, Madison. Burial is in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Loder P. Lampela
AMESVILLE - Loder P. Lampela, 62, was killed Thursday, July 18, 2002, in an automobile accident.
Born Jan. 15, 1940, in Ashtabula, Lampela was the son of Norman and Marleah (Tombes) Lampela.
Mr. Lampela graduated in 1958 from Harbor High School with many athletic honors. He graduated from Ohio University in 1962. He taught at OU for nine years and then moved on to Tri-County Vocational School, where he taught art and welding for more than 25 years before recently retiring.
Loder was an artist, painter, welder and carver. He planned to continue sharing his artistic abilities with others for many years to come.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; son, Andrew; daughter, Tracy Keirns; grandchildren, Sarah and Nicki Keirns; sister, Cecelia Deligianis; and a brother, Bob Lampela.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At Mr. Loder's request, his body was donated to science and delivered to Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
A memorial service will be held this fall in Amesville.

Rebecca C. Totten
INDEPENDENCE, KAN. - Rebecca Coleman Totten, 52, died Thursday, May 9, 2002, at her home, after a battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 14, 1949, in Florence, Ala., the daughter of Clayton B. and Billie (Mitchell) Clayton.
She graduated from Edgewood High School in 1968 and attended Kent State University Ashtabula branch. In 1977, she received a bachelor of arts degree from Northeast Missouri State University.
Mrs. Totten was employed as a social worker at the Four County Mental Health Center in Independence until her illness forced her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Col "Bud" Totten of Independence, Kan.; one son, Matthew Auxter of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Alison Auxter of Independence, Kan. and Arieanna Auxter of Pittsburg, Kan.; one sister, Jane Fenton of Tariffville, Conn.; and one brother, Charles Boyd Coleman of New Haven, Conn.
A memorial service was May 16 at the Church of the Epiphany in Independence, Kan.
Arrangements were handled by Webb & Rodrick Funeral Home and Crematory, 306 W. Main, Independence, Kan.
Louis Fozo
WINDSOR - Louis Fozo, 80, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at his home.
Service is 2:30 p.m. Monday at Paine-Simpson Funeral Home, 140 East Main St., Orwell.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
