Anna Gurgul
LONG BEACH, Calif. - Anna Gurgul, 83, of Long Beach, Calif., and formerly of Orwell, died Dec. 18, 2002.
Mrs. Gurgul was born April 9, 1919, in Cleveland, the daughter of Stanislaw and Rosalia (Gorniak) Molenda.
She is survived by her husband, Ignace Gurgul; a daughter, Kathleen Molenda of California; a son, Leonard Gurgul of Colebrook Township; four grandsons, Douglas of Orwell, Raymond and John Pustinger of California and David Pustinger; two sisters, Helen Czayka of Rock Creek and Genevieve Jesionowski of Geneva; and one great-grandchild.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers, Joseph, Casey, John, Stanley, Felix and Mitchell Molenda.
Virginia Mae Burns
PINEHURST, Texas - Virginia Mae (Fall) Burns, 54, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, after an extended illness, at Doctors' Parkway Hospital in Houston.
She was born July 3, 1948, in Erie, to Theodore V. Fall and Betty (Baker) Fall Seese.
Mrs. Burns was raised in Lake City, Pa. She graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in Girard, Pa., in 1966. She attended Kent State University and earned her bachelor of arts in nursing from the Mount Sinai Nursing School in Cleveland in 1969.
She was a registered nurse for 20 years at Doctors' Parkway Hospital in Houston. For the last five years, she was their director of nursing.
Besides nursing, she enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Raymond Burns of Pinehurst; a son, Kenneth Caiata of Fort Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Kimberly Majors of Dallas; sisters Jenise Exley of Sidney, Susan Larrison of East Springfield, Pa., and Lindy Raygor and Tyna Dworakowski, both of Lake City, Pa.; two grandsons; and former husband, Alfred Caiata of Cape Coral, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services were Tuesday at the Earthman Funeral Home in Houston.

Carl J. Guthrie
COLUMBUS - Carl Junior Guthrie, 77, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Claremont Assisted Living in Columbus.
He was born May 24, 1925, in Applecreek, Ohio, the son of Daniel and Ollie (Ling) Guthrie.
A Geneva resident since 1957, Mr. Guthrie worked as a conductor with Conrail for 33 years, retiring in 1984.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific Theater. He was a 21-year member of the Geneva Fire Department, a member of the Geneva Masonic Lodge No. 334 and a member of the Al Koran in Cleveland.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie Newman of Columbus; one son, Wayne A. Guthrie of Columbus; two grandchildren, Carlin and Cassidy Guthrie; and one sister, Bessie Lehman of Victoria, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At Mr. Guthrie's request, no visitation or services will be observed.

Eino Kangas
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Eino Kangas, 82, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Community Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Nov. 17, 1919, in Montville, the son of Herman and Katherine (Rinta) Kangas.
A former Madison resident, Mr. Kangas was an electrician at the Diamond Shamrock Corp. and a member of the Central Congregational Church in Madison and Lake Shore Lodge 307 F&AM.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include seven nephews, Kenneth Kangas of Florida, Robert Kangas of Montville, Harvey Kangas of Amherst, John Concoby of Arkansas, Dennis Kangas of Kentucky, Larry Kangas of Cleveland and Byron Kangas of West Virginia; and eight nieces, Betty Jo Knight of Hambden, Jill Kangas of Arizona, Carol Thornton of Chardon, Sandi Kangas of California, Dorothy Papay of Amherst, Joanne Stein of Leroy, Lois Young of Concord and Laurine Guzzi of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and one sister.
Funeral is noon Friday at the Potti Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison. Burial will be at Montville Cemetery.
Calling hour is 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.
David Ward Breidenbach
CHARLESTON, S.C. - David Ward Breidenbach, 49, died Sunday July 22, 2001, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Charleston.
He was born in Elmer, N.J., the son of Leona (Klotz) Pancoast and the late Charles H. Breidenbach.
He was a 1969 graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School and he served as a missile technician first class in the U.S. Navy for eight years.
Mr. Breidenbach had been employed as an electronic meteorologist for Robert Bosch Corp. in Charleston for 20 years before retiring in January of 2000. He had previously been employed as a machinist for Lockheed in Charleston.
Following his retirement he had been working as a general contractor.
Mr. Breidenbach was devoted to and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Ann (Dietrich) Breidenbach, formerly of Ashtabula; a daughter, Carrie Ann Breidenbach of Charleston; a son, Cameron D. Wade of Charleston; his mother and stepfather, Leona and Carlton C. Pancoast of Newark, Del.; three brothers, John Quinton of Ellicot City, Md., Michael Anthony of Knoxville, Ky., and Robert Charles of West Greenwich, R.I.; and a sister, Michelle Ann Lockwood of Newark.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1996 and a sister, Christina (Breidenbach) Workman in 1990.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the H.T. Layton and Son Home for Funerals, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, N.J. Interment will be in Woodstown First Baptist Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at the Cathedral of Praise in North Charleston at a later date.
Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the time of services.

Dennis J. Wheeler
PFAFFTOWN, N.C. - Dennis John Wheeler, 51, of Pfafftown, N.C., died Monday, July 22, 2002, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after a lengthy illness.
He was born Oct. 2, 1950, in Ashtabula, the son of Gladys Simpson and Kenneth T. Wheeler.
He enjoyed sailing and woodworking.
Survivors include his mother, of Winston-Salem, N.C., ; his wife of 30 years, Bonnie (Mosier) Wheeler; a sister, Pat Hogge of Winston-Salem; and a brother, James Wheeler of Kingsville.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in King, N.C.

Ronald L. Pauley
DORSET TOWNSHIP - Ronald Lee Pauley, 31, of Route 193, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Youngstown, from injuries sustained in an automobile crash.
He was born July 6, 1970, in Geneva, the son of Ronald Eugene and Marilyn (Phillips) Pauley and had been a lifelong area resident.
A 1988 Jefferson High School graduate, he studied auto mechanics at the Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School during his junior and senior years.
For the past nine years, he was employed as a supervisor for the Smurfit Stone Container.
Between 1991 and 1994, he was a volunteer firefighter with the Dorset Volunteer Fire Department.
He enjoyed hunting, golfing, riding his four-wheeler, participating in demolition derbies, and spending time with his daughter.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie (Smith), whom he married May 21, 1994; his daughter, Rachel Pauley; his mother and step-father, Edward Reynolds of Dorset Township; a brother, Bobby of Pierpont Township; two half-brothers, Edward and Michael Reynolds of Dorset Township; paternal grandmother Anna Pauley of Tiffin; and maternal grandparents Richard and Mary Phillips of Jefferson.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1977.
Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ducro Funeral Services-Jefferson Home, 17 N. Market St., Jefferson. with the Rev. Raymond Lamb of Conneaut Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Dorset Cemetery.
Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
