Anthony E. Petrynski
HARPERSFIELD TOWNSHIP - Anthony E. Petrynski, 78, of Route 528, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at UHHS Memorial Hospital of Geneva.
Born May 7, 1922, in Cleveland, he was a son of Ferdinand and Josephine (Wondlowski) Petrynski.
Mr. Petrynski worked as a plumber through his union for 50 years, retiring in 1985.
He married Mathilda Mishaga on Nov. 25, 1948.
He served three years in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Assumption Church, Geneva. He was active in church and was known as the pastor's right-hand man.
He also was a member of American Legion-George Call Post 124 and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include a sister, Josephine Jakejowski of Cleveland; and a brother, Stephen of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife, in 1998; his parents; and two brothers: John and Stanley.
Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Church, 594 W. Main St., Geneva, with the Rev. Paul Tobin officiating. Burial will be in Harpersfield Township Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Donald E. Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.
Raymond Eugene Gaiser
WINDSOR - Raymond Eugene Gaiser, 68, a resident of Windsor, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at the Geauga Hospital.
Born on September 1, 1934 in Butler, PA, he was the son of Wayne and Helen (McKissik) Gaiser.
Retired, Mr. Gaiser was the Fire and Safety Director of Metro Hospital of Cleveland and Director of Building and Grounds of Cleveland State University.
Survivors include children, Brian Gaiser, Beth Lee, Jennifer Pallone, Joel Gaiser, Jonathan Gaiser, and Spouses; and 16 grandchildren; and brothers, Robert, Quay, and Gaylord Gaiser.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. at Orwell North Cemetery on Friday, August 1, 2003, with Pastor Mike Bucher officiating.

Winifred L. Crump
DAYTON - Winifred L. Crump, 86, formerly of Ashtabula, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at WoodGlen Alzheimer's Community, Dayton.
She was born June 25, 1916, in Silver Creek, N.Y., the daughter of Peter and Emily (Simpson) Desko. She had been an Ashtabula resident for most of her life.
She owned and operated Windy's Grocery Store in Geneva for 15 years with her husband, Robert Crump.
Survivors include her two daughters, Carolyn Shubert of Dayton, and June Spring of McDonough, Ga.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Desko.
She was preceded in death by her husband; five sisters, Ninnie Verdi, Rose Paine, Mary DePasquale, Dorothy Corbissero, and Amelia Desko; two brothers, Angelo and Peter Desko; and her parents.
Service is 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 4901 Main Ave. The Rev. Barbara Johnson will preside.
Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula.

Richard Allen Tisdale
CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - Richard Allen Tisdale, 48, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at his home.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Tisdale was disabled. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his parents, Richard and Beatrice Tisdale of Ohio; his wife, Renee; two sons, Chris Seavey of Ozark, Ark. and Anthony Seavey of Lamar, Ark.; a brother, Dan; a sister, Debbie Onion of Conneaut; and a grandson, David Seavey of Lamar, Ark.
Service is 10 a.m. today at thr Roller-Cox Chapel, Clarksville, Ark., with the Rev. Terry Schlinker officiating.
Cremation will follow.

Jeremiah E. Spencer
YOUNGSTOWN - Jeremiah Elijah Spencer, 76, died Monday, May 27, 2002, at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1925, in Rayville, La., the son of Ide and Estella (Robinson) Spencer.
Mr. Spencer served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years and earned many awards and commendations.
He worked as a crane operator with LTV Steel for more than 20 years, retiring in 1984.
He was an avid lover of dogs, especially German shepherds.
Survivors include a sister, Harriet Scott of Queens, N.Y.; a brother, Joseph of Cleveland; and caregiver Theresa Lyons, his niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Fannie E. Lyons, who reared him; and two brothers, Booker T., and Ide D.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at the Apostolic Church of God in Christ, 312 Jefferson St., Conneaut. Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
Calling hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Carl L. Testerman
N. FORT MYERS, Fla. - Carl L. Testerman, 61, formerly of Ashtabula, died Jan. 23, 2002, at his home.
He was born in Williamson, Ky., and lived in Ashtabula for 20 years before moving to Twinsburg two years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria; five children and stepchildren, Carl Jr., and Lana Johnson of Ashtabula, Edward J. Peska of Spotsylvania, Va., Deborah Blum of Parma Heights, and Kathleen Maruna of Stow; a brother, Tim of Kirtland; and many grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Memorial service is 10 a.m. Saturday at the Community of Christ Church, 9017 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland.

Mary D. Schlabach
CANTON - Mary D. Schlabach, 89, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2001, in Altman Hospital, Canton.
She was born Oct. 23, 1912, in Geauga County, the daughter of Eli and Lydia (Detweiler) Hostetler. She moved to Canton in December 1997.
Mrs. Schlabach was a homemaker and loved doing needlework and quilting and sewing. She made more than 40 quilts during her life, also many wallhangings and other sewing crafts.
She was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, Burton Township, and was active in the church's sewing circle.
Survivors include her daughter, Sara Lohiser of Burton; a son, William of Canton; three grandchildren, James Lohiser of Burton, Jennifer Littwiller of Lancaster, Pa; and Pamela Zuercher of Canton; a great-granddaughter; three sisters, Nancy Schwartz of Berne, Ind., Elizabeth Schwartz of Sturgis, Mich., and Sara Stutzman of Sugarcreek; and five brothers, Dan of Orlando, Fla., Elmer of Fredericksburg, Eli of Gambier, Jake and Noah, both of Sarasota, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William H., in 1999, and a daughter, Kathryn.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Maple View Mennonite Church, 14890 Burton Windsor Road, Burton Township, with the Rev. Doug Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Maple View Cemetery, Burton Township.
