Pierpont - Joanne Allen, 65, of Anderson Rd. died Wednesday May 11, 2005 at her home.
Born January 22, 1940 in Painesville, Ohio she was the daughter of Joseph and Virginia (Isabella) Laskowski.
She had been previously employed as an aide at Garland Community Hospital in Texas.
She enjoyed flowers, cake decorating, cooking and sewing.
Survivors include four children,, Jim (Joy Shortridge) Tucker of Ashtabula, Debbie Wallace of Garland, TX, Ronald (Laura) Tucker of Rowlett, TX, and Connie (William) Old of Pierpont; nine grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Delores (John) Watts of Pierpont, Shirley (Dutch) Hines of Painesville, Virginia (Steve) Hamber of Painesville; half-brother, Joe (Rita) Laskowski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lambert; and her parents.
A memorial service will be held Monday May 16, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Covenant Assembly Of God, 1280 St Rt 46, Jefferson, Ohio, with Rev. Bill Evans officiating.

Laurel F. Graham, age 76, of St. Rt. 193, Dorset, died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born November 30, 1938 in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Franklin & Florence (Lambert) Jones.
She served in the U. S. Army and worked as a dental assistant. On November 7, 1957 she married William “Bill” E. Graham in Dorset. She loved to read and work crossword puzzles. However, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy!
She is survived by her husband, Bill E. Graham of Dorset; children, Robin D. (John) Williams of Pensacola, FL, Lori L. (Daniel) Middendorf of Franklin, GA, Kelly A. (Kenneth) Berger of Mesa, AZ, Lyle A. (Diana) Graham of Lenox and P. Coleen (Vince) Romaro of Granite Bay, CA; sister, Lavonne Layton of Astoria OR; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Patricia Highline and brother Sam Jones.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10:00 A. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming &Billman; Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 West Jefferson St., Jefferson with Pastor Rick Havens of Lenox Christian Fellowship Church officiating. No burial will take place at this time.
Calling hours will be held Monday, January 19, from 5:00-7:00 P. M. at the funeral home. Merl W. Woodburn
August 19, 1925 - January 13, 2015

Merl W. Woodburn, 89 of West 11th St. Ashtabula died Tuesday (Jan. 13th) at the Carington Park Nursing Home in Ashtabula. He was born August 19, 1925 in Ashtabula the son of Charles and Lucille (Whitman) Woodburn. He was a 1943 graduate of Ashtabula High School and attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He then served in the Army during World War II in the European Theater of Operations where he receives a Purple Heart in a battle in France.
Following his recovery from his wounds he worked for Woodburn Construction as a landscaper and as a mortar mixer for the masons and had worked on many projects. In spite of his war injuries he accomplished many things and had a heart of gold. He was a hard worker who never gave up. He was kind to everyone and he had a great sense of humor.
He was a member of the East Side Presbyterian Church where he sang in the church choir. He was also a member of the Neal Post #743 of the Kingsville American Legion. He enjoyed singing, camping, and bike riding. He also loved the lake and nature but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving him are his faithful and loving wife, Rosalind (Young) Woodburn whom he married November 22, 1950; his son Greg (Cindy) Woodburn of Saybrook Township; three grandchildren, Marie L. Williams, Aimie L. Brown, and Matthew E. Woodburn; five great grandchildren, Cody Brown, Cheyenne Brown, Cassidie Brown, Matthew Woodburn and Miayah Woodburn; two brothers, Clair W. (Charlene) Woodburn of Saybrook and Wallace D. (Beverly) Woodburn of Ashtabula and a sister, Lulagean Ellwood of Ashtabula. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Samuel M. Woodburn and a great grandson, Zachary Woodburn.
Funeral service will be Tuesday (Jan. 20th) at 11:00 AM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 526 West Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with Rev. Shane Nanney of the East Side Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery with Neal Post #743 of the Kingsville American Legion conducting military rites.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. James R. Foltz
June 17, 1960 - October 22, 2014

James “T-Bone” R. Foltz, age 54 of Westview Dr., Jefferson, passed away suddenly early Wednesday morning (Oct. 22nd) at St. Joseph Medical Center in Andover with his family at his side. He was born on June 17, 1960 in Ashtabula, the son of James & Emma “Kay” (Hodson) Foltz.
He has been a lifelong resident of Ashtabula County. He was a self-employed master craftsman for most of his life. He enjoyed camping at Holiday Camplands where his family’s most cherished memories were made over the last 20 years. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling with his children and coaching baseball for his son Steve. He enjoyed motorcycles especially his Harley where he felt free and enjoyed many long rides with his son. However, his greatest love was his wife of 33 years, his four children and nine grandchildren, they were his world! He will always be remembered for putting others needs in front of his own, but his legacy will be the love he had for his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Tammie (Walkup) Foltz who he married on August 1, 1981; his mother Emma “Kay” Foltz of Conneaut; children, James R. Paris of Ashtabula, Kristina M. (Tyler Minnick) Foltz of Pittsburgh, Steven L. Foltz of Roaming Shores, Trisha M. (Brian) Kereky of Jefferson; brother, Brad Foltz of Kingsville; sisters, Terri Hochschild of Kingsville, Debbie Cartner of Ashtabula, Sheri Foltz of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Ava, Easton, Mercedes, Lillian, Bayleigh, Sophia, Landon, Madisyn and James.
He is preceded in death by his father James Foltz.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25th, at 1:00 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 West Jefferson St., Jefferson with Pastor William Walkup officiating.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday at the Jefferson Home from 10:00 A. M.-1:00 P. M. prior to service. Carl A. “Junior” Anderson
DORSET – Carl Arthur “Junior” Anderson, 76, of Footville-Richmond Road died Friday, August 1, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown.
He was born June 3, 1927 in Denmark Twp., the son of Carl John Peter and Mildred (Housel) Anderson and had been a lifelong Ashtabula Co. resident.
Prior to his retirement, he worked 28 years for True Temper, retiring as Shipping Supervisor.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Allene (Evans), whom he married March 17, 1962; three daughters, Linda (husband Mark) Fogus and Brenda (husband Steve) Lautanen, both of Dorset, and Kathy (husband George) Wight of Clearwater, FL; one son, Dale Thompson of Linesville, PA; 7 grandchildren, Timothy and Daniel Shoby, Thomas and Jessica Wight, Joshua and Haley Thompson, and Jacob Fogus; one great-granddaughter, Bernice Shoby; one sister, Clarice Franklin of San Antonio, TX; and one brother, Larry Anderson of Santa Anna, CA.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Norman Anderson; three sisters, Donna Piper, Arlene Easton, and Diane Anderson (in infancy); and his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 6 to 9 P.M. Monday, August 4, 2003 at the family home at 4028 Footville-Richmond Road, Dorset.
At his request, no services will be held.
