Age: 89
Alice B. Losekamp, 89, of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, September 29, 2003, at Heartland of Beavercreek. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus J. Losekamp; two sisters, Genevieve Essman and Agnes Mattingly; and a brother, John Stanton.
She is survived by her children: Kathleen (Randall) Saylor of Beavercreek; Tom (Sue) Losekamp of Xenia; Mike (Sharon) Losekamp of Columbus; Terri Losekamp of Dayton; and Danny Losekamp of Beavercreek; six grandchildren: Randy, Kelly, Devon, Amber, Tommi and Kari; and one great-granddaughter: Meredith.
Alice had been employed in the bakery at Lofino’s Market for nearly 13 years. She was a charter member of St. Luke’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Alice’s memory.

Mary Elizabeth Mackert, 79, of Fairborn, passed away Monday, September 29, 2003, at home.
Friends may call at the Burcham Funeral Home, 119 E. Main Street, Fairborn, Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fairborn.

Jesse W. Woodhouse
Died: Monday, September 29, 2003
Age: 89
Jesse W. Woodhouse, 89, of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 29, 2003, at Community Hospital in Springfield, Ohio. He was born in Springfield the son of John R. and Cecile May (Reames) Woodhouse.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member
of the American Legion Post 286, New Carlisle, VFW Post 9966 New Carlisle and AMVETS Post 148. He was a vice president and chairman of the board of the Navistar Credit Union for 18 years. He was a retired metal finisher from Navistar. He was a volunteer at the Elderly United, New Carlisle.
He is survived by a son, Robert and his wife Sharon Woodhouse of Wilmington, Ohio; three daughters, Linda Woodhouse of New Carlisle, Patricia and her husband Emerson Gentner of Xenia, Ohio, Jerrie and her husband Edgar Moore of Melbourne, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel and his wife Delores of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a sister, Iva Blevins of Melbourne; sisters-in-law, Genevia Eubanks of Littlefield, Mich., Betty and her husband Joe Hess of South Charleston, Ohio, and Mayme and Ray Bruner
of Dayton, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Airebell; a son, Jesse Jr.; a granddaughter, Debra Sue Van Bibber; great-grandson, Roy Edgar Bynum; a brother, Robert J. Woodhouse; and two sisters, Bertha Woodhouse and Mae Mayhew.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2003, at the Trostel, Chapman & Christmas Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio. Burial at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Dorothy Davis
Died: Monday, September 29, 2003
Age: 70
Dorothy "Dottie" Davis, age 70, of Xenia, passed away Monday Sept. 29, 2003 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Davis; her parents: Hodge and Katherine Crawford; and her sister: Jean Crawford.
She is survived by her daughter: Cyndi (Tim) Stookey of Xenia; son: Chuck (Anne Marie) Lee of Knoxville, TN; three granddaughters: Rebecca Lee, Shannon and Sierra Stookey; numerous other friends and relatives.
She was retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base after many years of service and was also employed by Top Value Enterprises for a number of years.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Elder Eugene Well officiating. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
Melvin George Rohr
Died: Saturday, September 27, 2003
Age: 92
Melvin George Rohr, 92, of Bristol, Tennessee, died Saturday, September 27, 2003, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Rohr was born in West Carrollton, Ohio, the son
of the late George Frank and Ida Francis Rohr.
He was preceded in death by his
wife, Eva Magdalene Rohr; and his brothers, Orville Joseph Rohr, Darrell Charles Rohr, Dallas Leroy Rohr, and Bernard Glen Rohr.
He was a veteran of the United States Merchant Marines/Coast Guard and was a member of the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his son, Dr. Errol G. Rohr and his wife, Dr. Karen Gegner Rohr; two grandchildren, Liese Anne Rohr and Eric Gegner Rohr and his wife, Lin Luck Rohr;
a great-grandchild, Sarah Garman Rohr; and a sister, Lillian Estelle Little.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at Cold Spring Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Errol G. Rohr officiating, assisted by Reverend Dr. Gregory D. Jordan.
The committal and interment will follow at Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Rohr, Don Middleton, Robert Rohr, Mike Carty, Ron Walker and Roy Tester.
The family will receive friends from 1 o’clock until 1:45 Tuesday afternoon at Cold Spring Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Rohr and his family are in the Care of Oakley-Cook Funeral Home, 2223 Volunteer Parkway, Bristol, Tennessee.
Emma Lee (Craven) Kepler

Age: 78
Emma Lee (Craven) Kepler, 78, of Jamestown, passed away Friday evening, September 26, 2003, at Greene Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 17, 1924, in Greenville, TN, the daughter of Clarence and Effie Johnson Craven
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Howard E. "Bud" and Janis Kepler, of Beavercreek, Ralph Lee and Charlene King, of West Covina, CA, and DeWayne and Harriett King, of South Bend, IN; a daughter, Alice Adams, of Fort Worth, TX; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Sonny Craven, of VanBuren, IN; and three sisters and
a brother-in-law, Louise Stickler, of AR, Nancy and Bob Gorbics, of South Bend, IN, and Hilda Miller, of Oxnard, CA.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Katherine King and Nancy "Susie" Haslem, and a brother, Harold Craven.
Graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery, South Bend, IN, at l pm, Wednesday, October 1, 2003.
There will be no visitation.

Robert A. Miller

Age: 67
Robert A. Miller, 67, Xenia, passed away Tuesday morning, July 1, 2003, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 30, 1935, in Xenia, the son of William A. and Dorothy Zucker Miller.
He graduated from Bucknell University (BA 1957), where he was a member of the golf team that represented the university in the NCAA golf tournament in 1957. President of the Phi Delta Upsilon Fraternity, graduate of the University of Michigan, (JD 1960)-Fraternity Phi Delta Phi, joined the Miller, Finney and Clark Law firm in 1960, member of the Ohio Bar Association, Greene County Bar Association (Vice-Pres. 1981 and Pres. 1982), member of the Xenia City Board of Education for eight years (1966-74), member of the Association of Insurance Attorneys, member of the Xenia Rotary Club (Pres. 1965-66), member and past President of the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce, member of Faith Community United Methodist Church and former administrative Board President, member of Order
of Symposiarchs, former Solicitor for the Village of Clifton, member of the Xenia Area Development Corporation, former Pres. of the Greene Country Club, member of the Country Club of the North, and served with the Ohio National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Lewis) Miller, whom he married, Dec. 27, 1976; children and spouses, Michael and Linda, Dayton, Richard, Denver, Colo., and Catherine and Rustin, Jackson Hole, Wyo.; step-daughter, Anne; two grandchildren, Samuel and Benjamin; brothers and spouses, William E. and Barbara Miller, Parma, and Dr. Richard L. and Linda Miller, Naples, Fla.; and sister and husband, Marilyn and Noel McKeown, Xenia.
Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Faith Community United Methodist Church, 100 Country Club Dr., Xenia, with Rev. Robert McDowell officiating.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Woodland Cemetery.
