Jaime Lynette Kelly
Jaime Lynette Kelly, 25, of Amsterdam, died Dec. 1, 2004 in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa, from gunshot wounds she received during a robbery attempt.
Born Aug. 28, 1979, Jaime was a daughter of Carl "Bob" and Joyce (Cagot) Kelly of Miller Station Rd., Hopedale. She graduated from Jewett-Scio High School in 1998 and attended Harrison Career Center studying Business Occupation.
She loved playing volleyball, earning four varisty letters in high school and was chosen first team IVC All Star, playing for the East team. She was an employee at Merrin's Market in Amsterdam.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiance, Quint McFarland, whom she had been dating for 10 years; a daughter, Kendal, of the home; two sisters, Mischelle (Joe) Andrews of Hopedale and Bobbi (Bryon) Dulkoski of Jewett; a brother, Robert "Bezer" Kelly and his fiancee Kelly of Hopedale; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Friends may call Saturday from 2-9 p.m. at Koch Funeral Home, Scio. Services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the R.J. Spiker Firehall in Scio with Chaplain David Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in Germano Cemetery.

Velma (Demas) Dulkoski
Velma (Demas) Dulkoski, 77, Cadiz, died Dec. 3, 2004 at Wheeling Medical Park.
She was born July 15, 1927 in Colliers, W.Va., a daughter of the late George and Clara (Drocas) Demas.
She was active with her family's business, the former Dinner Bell Restaurant in Wheeling, and a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life-Giving Fountain, Martins Ferry, the Ladies Philoptochos Society, the American Heart Association, the Cancer Society and a Lioness with the Cadiz Lions Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Nick and Harry Demas; and three sisters, Katherine Calagis, Irene Demas and Georgia Saran.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, John Dulkoski; daughter Elizabeth Ference and husband Charles of Maumeem, Ohio; a sister, Julia Anthony of Holiday, Fla.

Friends are welcome on (today), Monday, Dec. 6, 2004 from 3-8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, Cadiz, and on Tuesday, from 9-10 a.m. Trisagion service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life-Giving Fountain, Martins Ferry, with Father Papageorgiou offering. Burial in Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville.

Meade J. "Sonny" Paris Jr.
Meade J. "Sonny" Paris Jr., 70, Piedmont, formerly of Mingo Junction, died Dec. 5, 2004, in the Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz.
He was born Oct. 20, 1934, in Mingo, a son of the late Meade J. Paris, Sr. and Helen E. "Cram" Panetta Paris.
He was a conductor in the railroad department at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, retiring after 41 years of service; a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Flushing; and a lifetime member of the Mingo Knights of Columbus Council #4361. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, etc.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard M. "Soup Bone" Paris and a sister, Anna M. "Nan" Stoddart.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra M. "Sandy" Morgan Paris; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Beth Ann) Cutri of Mingo, Mrs. Douglas (Karen) Terpenning of Davenport, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Brian (Penny) Olmstead of Steubenville; two stepsons, Curt Hazelip and wife Larissa of Steubenville and Rick Hazelip and companion Missy Parrish of Steubenville; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchidlren.
Friends will be received Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo, where services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004 at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
The Mingo K of C will conduct a Rosary service on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
Julius (Pat) Benyuska, Jr.
Julius (Pat) Benyuska, Jr., 65, died Nov. 19, 2004 at his home in Cerritos, Calif.
He was born Dec. 3, 1938 in Adena, a son of the late Julius and Susan Benyuska.
He was the ninth of 10 children. He worked for Paul Monroe Hydraulic in California for 35 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Benyuska and Julie Holyak (Joe).
Surviving are his wife, Donna; daughters Mrs. Tammy (Brad) Taylor of Mentor, Ohio, Mrs. Terry (Terry) Worrell of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, Mrs. Cyndia Norton of Las Vegas and a son Lance (Tina) Benyuska of Las Vegas; one brother, William (Joan) Benyuska of Sacramento, Calif., siser, Mrs. Elizabeth Faulkner of Huntington Beach; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, in-laws and a host of friends.
Service was held Nov. 22, 2004 at Christ Presbyterian Church in Lakewood, Calif.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society in his name.
Donald Leroy Nattress
Donald Leroy Nattress, 71, of 77425 Freeport Tippecanoe Road, Freeport died at 12:23 p.m. Wednesday, February 02, 2005 in Morning View Care Center, New Philadelphia.
Born Dec. 8, 1933 in Freeport, he was a son of the late John Morris Nattress and Mary Mildred Greenwalt Nattress Inglish.
Don graduated from Madison High School where he made numerous projects in woodworking class. He enjoyed playing softball until he was 50 years old. He was also a sponsor for an adult softball team in the Freeport area. He coached softball for one year.
After graduation from high school, he was employed by Superior Sewer Pipe in Uhrichsville, hauled cattle in the Lodi area, and then became a truck driver for Motor Freight of Midvale and A. V. Crosier Lumber Company of Freeport. In 1964 he started Nattress Trucking of Freeport, which in 1993 became known as Donco Leasing, and then in 2000 became CRC Trucking. His trucking companies hauled for Cramblett Trucking and The Freeport Press for over thirty-five years. He was also a thirty-five year customer of Truck Sales, Midvale and a good friend of the owner, Fred Bolon. He retired from the trucking business in 2004.
Don was a frequent customer of Tatman's Restaurant in Stillwater. He enjoyed the daily visits with his friends there, as well as with the owners, Mike and Esther Tatman.
His first wife, Joan May Freeman Nattress, died in August 14, 1961. They were married July 5, 1953. He was also preceded in death in 1961 by an infant daughter, and his stepfather, Glenn Inglish.
Surviving is his special aunt who raised him, Sina Pauline Greenwalt of Freeport. Also surviving is his wife, Lorena Eleanor Hicks Nattress. They were married Aug. 25, 1963.
In addition to his aunt and wife he is survived by two sons and four daughters, Shirley Ann Candela of California, Clifton Rozzelle "Fuzzy" Nattress of Dover, Norman Leroy Nattress of Freeport, Mrs. D. Brian (Carolyn May) Fogarty of Springboro, Mrs. Dean (LaDonna Wilma) Waldron of Bolivar, and Mrs. Ronald (Theresa Renee) Coombs of Uhrichsville; eleven grandchildren: Aaron Candela, Mrs. Raymond (Amanda) Morris, Casey Nattress, John Nattress, Jennifer Fogarty, Mark Fogarty, Chance Waldron, Storm Waldron, Ace Waldron, Lisa Carpenter, and Lauren Rose Coombs; and two great-grandchildren: Raymond Morris IV, and Levi Morris.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005 in Koch Funeral Home, Freeport with Rev. Harry Milligan officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset View Cemetery, Londonderry. Visitation will be held in the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4.

Eugenia Bates
Eugenia Bates, 92, Jewett, died Feb. 1, 2005 at Carriage Inn of Cadiz.
She was born Oct. 27, 1912 in Weirton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ellen Gardner Dennis.
She graduated from Jewett High School in 1930. She was an active member of the Jewett United Presbyterian church, where she served as organist for over 50 years, served as a Deacon and Elder, Sunday school teacher and superintendent and Bible school teacher. She also belonged to the Missionary Association, Friendly Class, Jewett Women's Club, the senior citizens and the Jewett Grange.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd; two brothers, Everett and Donald and a sister Mildred Schaney.
Surviving are a son, James Bates and wife Mary Jo of Howland, Ohio; two daughters, Ruth Wells of Jewett, Linda Hamilton and husband Frank of Salem; a brother, Kenneth Dennis and wife Ann of Kiawah, SC; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Blackburn Funeral Home, Jewett. Services will be held at the Jewett United Presbyterian Church, W. Main St., Jewett at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4 with the Rev. Mark Statler officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Jewett.
Donna Wilson Graves
Donna Wilson Graves of Hanford, Calif., died Jan. 31, 2005.
She was born June 12, 1933 in Freeport, a daughter of the late Harold Wilson and Edna Wilson of Cadiz.
She was a 1951 graduate of Freeport High School.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell.
She is survived by her mother of Cadiz; a son and two daughters, Jeff Hartnett and Debbie Duke of Hanford and Pam Gillaspie of South Sioux City, Neb.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pat Mattern of Cadiz.
In keeping with her wishes, her body was cremated.
