Margaret Donley Moore
Margaret Donley Moore, 63, Cadiz, died Sept. 25, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
She was born Nov. 28, 1938 in Barton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Jerry Donley and Katherine Stavase Donley.
She was a self-employed baker, a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a member of Adena American Legion Auxiliary and active with the Farmers' Market in Cadiz and St. Clairsville.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Bob Hendershott, parents, son Don Moore, and brother George Donley.
Surviving are husband Dallas Moore; five sons Jerry Hendershott of Carrollton, Joe Hendershott, Dave Moore of Toronto, Sam Moore of Texas, Bob Moore of North Carolina; five daughters Jay Moore Giacobbi of Gahanna, Robin Hendershott Castle of Bennington, IN, Candy Murphy of Toronto, Mary Bigler of Charleston, W.Va., Sharon Wells of Steubenville; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Donley of Cadiz, Jerry Donley of Adena; and two sisters Ilene Jones of Florida, Regina Dunlap of Cadiz; sister-in-law Helen Donley of Adena.
Calling hours are Saturday and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Service will be held Monday, Sept. 30, 2002 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
Theodore "Ted" W. Zamski
Theodore "Ted" W. Zamski, 93, Dillonvale, died Sept. 24, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry.
He was born July 18, 1909 in Long Run, a son of the late John and Matilda Zamski.
He was a former employee of Hanna Coal Company and retired with 50 years of service from Consolidation Coal Company where he received a 40 year plaque with no lost time accidents, he was a member of St. Casimirs Catholic Church, Adena and UMWA.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Zamski, second wife Emma Zamski; parents; three brothers Julius, John and Frank; and three sisters Frances Kloss, Eleanor Stanett and Elizabeth.
Surviving are three sons Gary and wife Debbie of Adena, Ted and wife Alice of Parma, William and wife Helen of Dillonvale; four daughters Patricia Jeskey and husband Tom of Adena, Elizabeth Fennel of Pittsburgh, Dorothy Das of Cleveland, Carol Marzetz and husband Larry of Gahanna; two sisters Matilda Javorski and husband Stanley of Martins Ferry, Josephine Kaminski of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday (today) from 2-9 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena where vigil services will be held at 8L30 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will then be celebrated at 1 p.m. at St. Casimirs Catholic Church, Adena with Msgr. John Kolesar as celebrant. Burial in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
Ada Finnicum
Ada Finnicum, 85, Freeport, died Sept. 22, 2002 in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry.
She was born Oct. 12, 1916 in Woodsfield, Monroe County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Henry Hendrix and Lily Pearl Moose Hendrix.
She graduated from Amsterdam High School.
She was preceded in death by parents; three brothers Kenny Hendrix, Chester Hendrix and James Hendrix.
Surviving are two sons, Dale E. McLaughlin of Canton and Carl D. McLaughlin of Lady Lake, Fla.; a brother William Hendrix of Carrollton; four sisters Ethel Kohler of New Philadelphia, Lavada Miller of Carrollton, Jeanie Stevens of Carrollton and Bonnie Etling of Amsterdam; and three grandchildren.
Service will be held Sept. 27, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. in the United Methodist Church Cemetery, Perrysville.
Koch Funeral Home, Freeport was in charge of arrangements.
Bertha A. Gore
Bertha A. Gore, 89, Beaver Creek, Ohio, formerly of Rt. 5 Cadiz, died Sept. 20, 2002 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz.
She was born June 7, 1913 in Texas; a daughter of the late Stanley and Katherine Core.
She was a member of St. Casimirs Catholic Church, Adena, Adena American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters of America, CWC, Rosary Society, AARP.
She was preceded in death by husband John "Jack" Gore Jr.; her arents; brother Leo Golic; and an infant sister.
Surviving are three sons John "Wally" and wife Peggy of Beaver Creek, Stanley D. and wife Rhonda of Adena, Bruce M. and wife Phyllis of Brestol, W.Va.; three sisters Vickie Gunsorek of Adena, Gene Rudik of Columbus, Helen Broskea of Allen Park, MI.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Friends will receive today (Sept. 23) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena with Vigil Service at 8:30 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be conducted Sept. 24, 2002 at 11 a.m. at St. Casimirs Catholic Church, Adena with Msgr. John Kolesar as celebrant.

Kimberly Jo Glover, 49, New Philadelphia, formerly of Cadiz, died Sept. 20, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
She was born Aug. 5, 1953 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of Charles D. Glover and Audrey Bates Glover.
She was a LPN with Statcare in Dover.
Surviving are her father Charles D. Glover and mother Audrey Bates Glover; and a brother Kevin and wife Marcy of Lexington, S.C.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Nicole A. Smith, 37, Bethel Park, Pa., died Feb. 7, 2007.A former resident of Cadiz, she was a daughter of William and Jan. (Wallace) Simpson of Cadiz.She was self-employed and was a 1987 graduate of the former Cadiz High School.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Bill Smith; two daughters, Taylor and Jessica Smith, both of Bethel Park, Pa.; and a sister, Deana (Mark) Soos of Cadiz.Visitation will be held Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday from 12-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, Pa. Dorothy E. Easlick
Dorothy Eileen Easlick, 83, of Scio went home to be with the Lord Wednesday Feb. 7, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.Born Oct. 31, 1923 in Deersville she was a daughter of the late Paul and Golda Vickers Rose. She graduated from Cadiz High School in 1942 and worked at the Scio Pottery for many years.She was a member of the Scio United Methodist Church and their United Methodist Women's group where she had served as a past district officer. She was an avid quilter belonging to the Deersville Quilters, she worked with the Harrison County Board of Elections, and was chairperson of the Scio Food Pantry for many years. She was also an avid collector of Santa Clauses.Surviving are her husband, David Easlick, Jr., whom she married Nov. 9, 1957; daughters Judy and Tom Crawshaw of Stone Mountain, Ga., Jane Watkins of Malvern, Jen Dee and David Rich of Scio and Joye O'Donnell of Lexington, N.C.; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son James Barcus, brothers Paul, Bill, Hartzel, Raymond and Tom Rose, and a sister Ruth McFarland.Friends may call Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Koch Funeral Home, Scio and Sunday at Scio United Methodist Church from 1-2 p.m. where services will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev.
