A funeral service for Daphne M. Watson, 43, of Warsaw, will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Knox officiating.
Daphne, beloved daughter, sister and aunt, died on Nov. 6, 2003, after sustaining injuries from an accident with her sister, Deborah Watson. Daphne was born Nov. 30, 1959, in Newark, to Richard L. and Juanita Watson.
Daphne loved going to Frazeysburg Bingo Hall and working as quality production specialist at Longaberger Basket Company, where she worked for 16 years.
Daphne was preceded in death by her father, Richard L. Watson Sr.
She is survived her mother, Juanita Watson; sisters, Carolyn Buffington of Warsaw, and Judith Keller of Newark; brothers, Richard (Wanda) Watson of Newark, William Watson of Columbus, and Jonathon Watson of Warsaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her sister, Deborah Watson, followed her in death on Nov. 8, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Kathryn M. Lloyd

A funeral service for Kathryn M. Lloyd, 87, of Newark, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, with David Myers and Wayne Cass officiating. Burial will follow in Perryton Cemetery.
Mrs. Lloyd died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at Mount Carmel West Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1916, in Neffs, Ohio to the late Clyde and Iciphene (Warfield) Dailey.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Bill) Morgan of Frazeysburg; son, Kirk (Debbie) Lloyd of Newark; two sisters, Pauline Mosso of Newark, and Dorothy Porter of Newark; four grandchildren, Darren (Andrea) Morgan of Lewis Center, Amanda Morgan of Frazeysburg, Matt (Randa) Lloyd of Newark, and Tim Lloyd of Newark; three great-grandchildren, Alex Morgan, Kendra Morgan and Mitchell Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lloyd was a member of the Southgate Church of Christ, and Southgate Hilltoppers. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts. She had managed the Newark Top Value Stamp Store and was a 1934 graduate of Bellaire High School.
Her husband, Howard A. Lloyd, preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1992. A brother, Floyd Dailey, is also deceased.

Patricia A. (Albright) Hoffman

A memorial service for Patricia A. (Albright) Hoffman, 55, of York, Pa., formerly of Newark, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Church, 950 W. Market St., York, Pa., with the Rev. Thomas R Hoke as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
Mrs. Hoffman died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at her home. She was born July 19, 1948, in York, Pa.
She was the wife of Daryl L. Hoffman, to whom she was married 37 years.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all. Her most valuable treasures in life were her children and her three beautiful granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Albright.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Doris (Dill) and Ralph Galloway Sr. of York, Pa.; a son, Darren E. Hoffman of York, Pa.; two daughters, Jennifer A., wife of Jason Brady of Newark, and Betsy S. Hoffman, fiance of George Sollberger of Dover; three granddaughters, Brittany, McKensey and Katherine; two sisters, Linda Brothers of Wellsville, and Donna Markel of York, Pa.; two brothers, Donald "Rick" Galloway and Ralph "Skip" Galloway Jr., both of York, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hoffman was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and its RCIA class of 1999. In Newark, she had been employed at Jim's Homestyle Restaurant and the Leads Headstart Program.

Grace E. Merriman

A funeral service for Grace E. Merriman, 100, of Westerville, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McPeek Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville, with the Rev. Bethany Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.
Mrs. Merriman, retired supervisor of food service (bakery and cafeteria) for the Lazarus Department Store in Columbus, died Nov. 8, 2003, at the home of her great-granddaughter and her husband, Heather and Juan Andrade, in Westerville. She was born Nov. 19, 1902, in Granville to the late Maude (Ackley) and Henry S. Strickler.
Mrs. Merriman was a former supervisor at Caldwell Dining Hall at Denison University in Granville. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Wilmington, N.C.
Surviving are her daughter, Wanda Phillips of Wilmington, N.C.; sisters, Doris Stemen and Lois Pinkerton, both of Granville; six grandchildren, Karen (McFarland) Collins of Johnstown, Sharon (McFarland) Evans of Blacklick, Jeannie (Phillips) Flake of Bailey, N.C., Peggy (Phillips) Lloyd of Durham, N.C., John McFarland of Bataan, Philippines, and Richard Phillips of Wilmington, N.C.; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Merriman; and daughter, Eleanor McFarland.

Loretta 'Lori' J. Kasser

Lori was a wonderfully loving mom, mamma and sissy.
She is survived by five children, which include her sons, Robert (Melinda) and James Sr. (Margaret) of Lewis Center, and John of Elizabethtown, Pa.; daughters, Tina Pastorek of Grove City, and Tamia (John) Little of Columbus; son-in-law, Mark Kramer of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert and Raymond Wright; and sisters, Ruth Reliford and Laverne Robertson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth; and grandson, Robert Jr.
She was, is, and always will be our rock.

A memorial service for Keith Robert Eitel, 21, of Johnstown, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown.
Keith died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003. He was born Dec. 26, 1981, in Columbus.
He was employed by Woodcraft in Pataskala, and graduated from Northridge High School in the class of 2000, where he excelled in soccer. He dearly loved his family and friends.
Keith is survived by his loving mother and father, Diane and Terry Eitel of Johnstown; loving brothers, Matt and Tim Eitel, also of Johnstown; guardian angel grandmother, Dolores Eitel of Reynoldsburg; grandmother, Helen Kasper of Reynoldsburg; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends; and special pets, Smokey, Bear, Molly and Ginger.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, David Kasper and Melvin R. Eitel.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Charles is survived by his wife, Betty (Wagers) Crowley Drumm of Newark; his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; stepchildren; stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.

Due to the wishes of Mary Margaret (Thompson) Byers, 91, of Newark, there will be no service or calling hours observed.
Mrs. Byers, a loving mother and grandmother, died Nov. 10, 2003, at Doctors West Hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1912, in Glouster, to the late Michael Andrew and Bessie Mae (Deal) Thompson.
Mrs. Byers was a retired school teacher for the New Lexington City Schools. She was a member of the Glouster Church of Christ, The State Teachers Retirement Association and the Rothwell Club.
She is survived by her two sons, Don (Judy) Byers of Heath, and Mike (Leslie) Byers of Ashland; four daughters, Pansy Lee Browning of Sacramento, Calif., Yvonne Keith of Newark, Patty (Richard) Johnson and Debbie (Richard) Little, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Byers is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Roy Byers, who died March 31, 1993; along with two brothers.

A funeral service for Terri Ann Cantrell, 44, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Newark, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, Ky. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens-East.
Terri died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at Jewish Hospital. She was a teacher's aide at The Temple and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 3903.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Cantrell; two sons, James A. and Joey E. Cantrell; her parents, James and Barbara Forgrave; three sisters, Candy and Mike Kilpatrick, Cathy and Rick Sisco and Cindy Forgrave; one brother and his wife, Bob and Nerida Forgrave; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
