Walter E. Bebout

A memorial service for Walter E. Bebout, 75, of Thornville, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Boring-Sheridan Funeral Home, 56 S. Main St., Thornville, with the Rev. Tom Myers officiating.
Mr. Bebout, who served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, died Oct. 2, 2002. He was born Sept. 12, 1927, in Newark, to the late Emmet Bebout and Madeleine (Hall) Henry.
Mr. Bebout retired from White-Westinghouse in 1985. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 499, VFW Post 1388, and AMVETS Post 51.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Bebout; daughter, Debbie (Fred) Linton; stepchildren, Debbie (Terry) Moyer, Randy (Polly) Starner, Beth Palmer, Kevin (Karen) Starner, Kelly (Robin) Starner and Bob (Robin) Starner; grandchildren, Paula Lint, Mona (Eric) Large, Mark Linton and Blair Linton; stepgrandchildren, Ryan Palmer, Stefan Snider, Courtney Starner, Angela Starner, Kayla Starner, Megan Palmer, Kristopher Starner and Renee Starner; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Sloan; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Tom Henry; brothers, Ralph "Red" Bebout and Raymond "Skeet" Bebout; and sisters, Betty Bebout, Fran Cunningham and Evelyn Rice.
Mr. Bebout's wish was to donate his body to science to help in the development of research.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society chapter of choice, or Hospice of Central Ohio, 1984-A Coffman Road, Newark, Ohio 43055.
Edna Milton Bolton
June 5, 1911-Oct. 5, 2002
A funeral service for Edna Milton Bolton, 91, of Newark, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Chester Sidle and the Rev. Ray Amore officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery, Johnstown.
Mrs. Bolton died Oct. 3, 2002, at the Heath Nursing and Convalescent Center. She was born June 5, 1911, in Licking County, to the late Harry and Lura (Watson) Galbraith.
There were six generations of family members.
She is survived by three daughters, Artha Kennedy of Newark, Juanita Pressley of St. Louisville and Mary (Howard) Timson of Killen, Texas; two brothers, Elmer Galbraith of Johnstown and Harold (Flow) Galbraith of Newark; two sisters, Edith Hall of Ohio and Esther Noteman of Plain City; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 46 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Bolton; and a daughter, Elsie Willey.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown.

Hazel M. Renner

A memorial service for Hazel M. Renner, 87, of Newark, will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 12 at the Licking Valley Church of Christ, 1578 Dayton Road, Newark, with Pastor Gus Andrews officiating.
Mrs. Renner, a retired cosmetologist, died Oct. 3, 2002, at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was born March 20, 1915, in Rendville, Ohio, to the late Monroe B. and Ida Mae (Lane) Morgan.
Mrs. Renner was a 40-year member of the Licking Valley Church of Christ, a member of the Madison Grange, the Amaretts and the Order of Eastern Star 305.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Daniel Cox of Newark; grandchildren, Theresa and John Reames, Victoria and Mel Kaiser, David and Celeste Loewendick and Joseph and Brenda Loewendick; four stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer, Danielle and Courtney Cox; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harold W. "Mike" Renner, on Sept. 12, 1995; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Licking Valley Church of Christ Building Fund.

Brad D. Poulton

A funeral service for Brad D. Poulton, 48, of Johnstown, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, Johnstown, with the Rev. Michael Rector officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Poulton, owner of Don Poulton Trans, died Oct. 3, 2002, at Seacoast Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was born Jan. 29, 1954 in Columbus to Donald and Mary Poulton.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl C. Poulton of Johnstown; daughters, Heather Poulton of Indianapolis, Nikki (Dan) Layne of Johnstown and Gina (Trevor) Moran of Johnstown; mother, Mary Poulton of Johnstown; brother, William (Diane) Poulton of Centerburg; sister, Maria Poulton of Johnstown; brother, Robert Poulton of Johnstown; sister, Jo'Anna (Mitch) Hurley of Pataskala; grandchildren; Harlie and Hannah Layne, Ethan and Haylee Moran; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Poulton.

Florence Houseknecht

A funeral service for Florence Houseknecht, 81, of Elmira, N.Y., was held Monday at Olthof Funeral Home Inc., Elmira, N.Y., with the Rev. William Wells officiating. Burial was at the convenience of the family.
Mrs. Houseknecht was born April 24, 1921.
She enjoyed crocheting and gardening, but her passion was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She devoted her life to being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald L. Houseknecht, whom she married in Long Beach, Calif., in 1944; daughter, Dona Lea Houseknecht; sons, Larry (Mary) Houseknecht and Alan (Stella) Houseknecht; grandchildren, Lauri Greenlaw, Mark, Dana, Christine and Alan M. Houseknecht; sisters, Gladys Bowman and Jannetta Kimble, both of Newark; brothers, Arthur Davis of Thornville; and Thomas Davis of Florida;
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Irona Wessinger and Mable Crothers; brothers, Howard, Ralph, Franklin, Clarence Jr. Davis.

Ronald D. "Sam" Aldridge

A funeral service for Ronald D. "Sam" Aldridge, 71, of Delaware, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Schoedinger North Chapel, Columbus, with Dave Mason and Doug Swan officiating. Burial will follow in Blendon Central Cemetery.
Mr. Aldridge, founder and chairman of The Aldridge Invitational Golf Classic, died Oct. 3, 2002, after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 28, 1930.
Mr. Aldridge was a veteran with the U.S. Navy, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Worthington Lodge, and Goodale Lodge No. 374, F & A.M. The Aldridge golf tournament was established in 1984.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ann "Toni" Aldridge; sons, Tim (Jane) Aldridge, Dan (Chris) Aldridge and Jeff (Gina) Aldridge; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Emilee, Allison, Jenna and Kristen Aldridge and Billy Gibson; brother, Gary (Barbara) Aldridge; sister-in-law, Virginia Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Melody Aldridge; son, Michael Douglas Aldridge; and sister, Betty Townsley.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus.
