Mary Lou Collins

Oct. 4, 2002

A memorial service for Mary Lou Collins, 77, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Buckeye Lake VFW.

Mrs. Collins, an avid fisherman and member of the Buckeye Lake VFW Auxiliary and Whitehall Moose, died Oct. 4, 2002.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert G. Collins; son, Robert Collins; grandson, Chip Collins of Daytona, Fla.; daughter, Tamara (Cris) Benge; grandson, Zach Benge of Gahanna; brother, Paul (Alice) Hulbert of Whitehall; sister, Margie Lindenbolt of Pataskala; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillian Hulbert; and sister, Ruby Schwinghammer.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.

Rodman Funeral Service Ohio Cremation Memorial Society is in charge of arrangements.

Clarence Angle

Oct. 13, 2002

Funeral arrangements are incomplete for Clarence Angle, 67, of Hanover, who died Oct. 13, 2002, at his residence.

Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Chapel, 179 Granville St., Newark, is in charge of arrangements.

William H. Brown

Oct. 13, 2002

A funeral service for William H. Brown, 64, of Newark, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Newark Chapel of Henderson, Van Atta & Johnston Funeral Service.

Mr. Brown died Oct. 13, 2002, at his home.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 59 N. Fifth St., Newark, where Eastern Star Chapter 305 and Farmers Lodge 153 F&AM will conduct services at 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

William C. "Jake" Dobson

May 1, 1914-Oct. 12, 2002

A funeral service for William C. "Jake" Dobson, 88, of Warsaw, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Fischer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Truex officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Dobson, a retired mechanic for Fischer Construction of Cincinnati, died Oct. 12, 2002, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. He was born May 1, 1914, in Coshocton County, to the late William H. and Daisy (Dillon) Dobson.

Mr. Dobson was a lifelong member of the Coshocton V.F.W. Post 1330, member of Dresden American Legion Post 0399, life member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 189FL-C10. He was also a World War II Army veteran, having served in the European theater on D-Day.

He is survived by his wife, Jean (Tharp) Dobson, whom he married on May 29, 1946; two sons, Steven (Brenda) Dobson of Newark and Gregory (Deborah) Dobson of Warsaw; two daughters, Suzanna Burgess and Mary Jane Mitchell, both of Coshocton; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; one sister, Ethel McCoy of Coshocton; and one brother, Raymond "Jack" Dobson of Trinway.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Don Dobson.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home, 412 E. Main St., Warsaw.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cochoston County and Home Health Care.

Theodore Edward Glove

Dec. 2, 1920-Oct. 12, 2002

A funeral service for Theodore Edward Glover, 81, of Heath, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wayne Cass officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Glover, a former inspector for Owens Corning, died Oct. 12, 2002, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center. He was born Dec. 2, 1920, in Newark, to the late Edward M. and Lucy (Luther) Glover.

Mr. Glover served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the Heath Senior Citizens, Fiberglas 25 Year Club, V.F.W. and Fiberglas Retirees Club.

He is survived by his son, Ted (Ruth) Glover of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Kathy (Danny) Roy of Orange Park, Fla.; sisters, Myrtle (Bill) Fazier of Newark and Juanita Anderson of Citrus Heights, Calif.; brothers, Ronald (Rosemarie) Glover of Wayzata, Minn., and Donald (Nora) Glover of Norwalk, Calif.; and special friend, Blanche Drumm of Newark.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Indus (Hartman) Glover and Bernadine (Wood) Glover; brother, Carlos; sister, Christine; and grandson, Theodore.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.

Jack Allen Hunt

May 31, 1929-Oct. 12, 2002

A funeral service for Jack Allen Hunt, 73, of Powell, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Andrew Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hunt, a retired foreman at Rockwell, died Oct. 12, 2002, at his residence. He was born May 31, 1929, in Newark, to the late Arthur W. and Margaret (Robinson) Hunt.

He is survived by his daughters, Lauri Hunt of Powell, and Connie Hunt and Patty Hunt, both of Newark; son, Arthur Dean Hunt of Newark; brother, Larry (Iva) Hunt of Buckeye Lake; and grandchildren, Sydney Hunt, Holly Hunt and Kasey Hunt.

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville St., Newark.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Hospice.

Clarence W. "Shakey" Angle Sr.

April 24, 1935-Oct. 13, 2002

A funeral service for Clarence W. "Shakey" Angle Sr., 67, of Newark, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Chapel, with Elder Corbet Jenkins, Monroe Montgomery and Ralph Phipps officiating. Burial will follow in Hanover Cemetery.

Mr. Angle, the retired owner of Angle Paint and Body Shop, died Oct. 13, 2002, at his residence. He was born April 24, 1935, in Bluefield, W.Va., to the late Britley and Bertha (Rogers) Angle.

Mr. Angle served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Octavia (Montgomery) Angle; children and in-laws, Barry and Debra Ellis, Vickie Ellis, Robert and Julia Ellis, Gwen and Fred Starkey, Karen Angle, Clarence Jr. and Tamara Angle and Lanny Angle; three brothers and one sister, Edward (Sharon) Angle, Norville Angle, Fred Angle and Alice Ware; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville St., Newark.

Sherry S. Beebe

July 4, 1935-Oct. 12, 2002

A funeral service for Sherry S. Beebe, 67, of Venice, Fla., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Grace United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Beebe, a homemaker and elementary school teacher, died Oct. 12, 2002. She was born July 4, 1935, in Union City, Ind., and moved to Venice, Fla., via Denver, Colo., and Gainesville, Fla., in 1973.

Mrs. Beebe graduated from The Ohio State University College of Education, class of 1957, where she belonged to the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. After graduating, she taught school in Bexley. Upon moving to Florida, she was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Sarasota, a member of the Venice Yacht Club, a member of the Mission Valley Golf and Country Club, and served on the board of directors of the Out of Door Academy in Sarasota.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Richard J. Beebe; sons, Mark of Nokomis, Fla., Greg of Santa Clarita, Calif., Steve of Gainesville, Fla., and Jon of Venice, Fla.; sister, Lynn Green of Venice, Fla.; aunt, Arlene Quinn of Venice, Fla.; uncle, Johnny Johnson of Sarasota, Fla.; and eight grandchildren, Ashlei, Erin, Elise, James, Sarah, Anna, Devon and Gannon.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Life Liners at the Senior Friendship Centers Inc., 2350 Scenic Drive, Venice, Fla. 34293.

Farley Funeral Home and Crematory, Venice Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
