A funeral service for Verna M. Anderson, 53, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Knox officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls.
Mrs. Anderson, who worked for Anomatic Corporation as a racker, died Nov. 5, 2002, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born April 12, 1949, in Muskingum County.
She is survived by her husband, Perry L. Anderson III; son, Mike Baker of Buckeye Lake; daughter, Michelle Baker of Nashport; brother, Jim Lonon of Zanesville; sister, Janet Fisher of California; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye (Hartman) Lonon; stepfather, Francis Lonon; and brother, Raymond Hartman.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.

A Mass of Christian burial for John A. Donaldson was held Nov. 5 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 4646 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, Ill. A private interment followed.
Mr. Donaldson, a World War II Navy veteran, died Nov. 2, 2002, in Chicago, Ill. He was a charter member of the U.S. LST Association, member of the Ohio LST Amphibs Association, past commander of James G. Brophy Post 195, member of the American Legion Commodore Barry Post 256, Knights of Columbus Council 731 and Elks Lodge 391.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (O'Connell) Donaldson; sister and brother, Carol Carpenter and Joseph Donaldson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and John Donaldson; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rosemary and Daniel O'Connor.
Olson-Burke/Sullivan Funeral Home, 6467 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, Ill., was in charge of arrangements.

John McKinstry

A graveside service for John McKinstry, 72, of Newark, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert L. Knox officiating.
Mr. McKinstry died Nov. 6, 2002, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born March 5, 1930, in New Boston, Ohio, to the late Charles and Lillian (Knickerbocker) McKinstry.
Mr. McKinstry was active with the Licking County MRDD and in Bible study and church services at the Inn at Sharon Brooke.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.

Mildred Gay Dennis Rolf-Clark

There will be no services observed for Mildred Gay Dennis Rolf-Clark who died Nov. 6, 2002.
Mrs. Rolf-Clark was born June 9, 1907, in Fostoria, Ohio, to the late Raymond Dennis and Odelia Brown. She had worked at Styrow-Beggs and Licking Laundry as a seamstress.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Brett A. (Donna) Rolf of Dresden, Dale W. Rolf and Kevin C. Rolf of Newark; four great-grandchildren, Tracy Ann Rolf of Dresden, Todd Avery Rolf and Trent Andrew Rolf, both of Newark, and Terry Anthony Rolf of Dresden; and good friend, June Rolf-Ramsey of Heath.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles F. Rolf; son, Fred C. Rolf; second husband, Ollie B. Clark; his son, Walter Clark; sister, Lillian Bender; brother, George F. Dennis; and niece, Nancy Pfarr.

A funeral service for Adrian M. Stapleton, 83, of Heath, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Heath Chapel of Henderson, Van Atta & Johnston Funeral Service, with the Rev. Gary Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.
Mrs. Stapleton, a member of the Second Baptist Church on National Drive, died Nov. 5, 2002, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1919, in Senecaville, Ohio, to the late Austin and Nancy (Berry) Wilson.
Mrs. Stapleton was primarily a homemaker. She had been the head waitress at the Sparta Restaurant for many years.

Bette G. McKinley, 89, of Bartlett, Tenn., formerly of Newark, died Nov. 7, 2002, in Baptist Memphis, Tenn.
Mrs. McKinley was a retired secretary for the public schools.
She is survived by her daughter, Kate Tully of Bartlett, Tenn.; two half-sisters, Harriett Frazier and Marjorie Keller, both of Newark; and three grandchildren, Levi M. Tully, Luke Tully and Chloe E. Tull, of Bartlett, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. McKinley.
Frank O. "Whitey" Wilson

A funeral service for Frank O "Whitey" Wilson, 82, of Mount Vernon, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. David Baker officiating. The Knox County Joint Veterans Council will provide military honors at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wilson died Nov. 7, 2002, at the Inn at Hillen Vale in Mount Vernon. He was born April 29, 1920, in Warsaw to William and Marie (Seas) Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was an Army veteran of World War II when he served in the European Theater of War. He had been employed for 28 years by Cooper Energy Services in Mount Vernon, and he retired from the Mount Vernon City Schools.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the Gay Street United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, Mount Zion Lodge 9 F&AM, Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite and Aladdin Shrine in Columbus. He was a life member of the VFW and AMVETS, both in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his wife, Frances (Braden) Wilson, whom he married on Nov 2, 1940; four daughters, Linda L. (David) Brown, of Howard, Diana D. (Daniel) Lorey, of Cullowhee, N.C., Judy Hatfield, of Mansfield and Nancy Marie (Arthur Winne) Wilson-Winne, of Dubuque, Iowa; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his half-sister, Leta (Don) Pealer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth VanHouten, Hazel Wilson and Mary Curavo; two brothers, Byron Wilson and Wilbur Wilson; half-brother, Charles Beeman; and half-sister, Eileen Smith.
