A funeral service for Hiram Hollingshead, 72, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home with Pastor William Cronk officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery where a military graveside service will be conducted.
Mr. Hollingshead died Dec. 28, 2002, at Selma Markowitz Center. He was born Jan. 11, 1930.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
Hiram 'Bing' Hollingshead Jr.

A funeral service for Hiram "Bing" Hollingshead Jr., 72, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor William Cronk officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, where a military graveside service will be conducted.
Mr. Hollingshead, who was employed and retired from Rockwell International, died Dec. 28, 2002, at the Selma Markowitz Center. He was born Jan. 11, 1930, in Senecaville, Ohio.
Mr. Hollingshead was a member of the Marne United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 0764, Disabled American Veterans, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Korean War Veterans Association and Military Order of Purple Heart.
Mr. Hollingshead was a Korean Army veteran. He received the Bronze Star Medal with the letter "V" Device, the Purple Heart and Silver Service Star. He also received the Combat Infantry Badge while serving in Korea.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Dement) Hollingshead; mother, Vergil (Hall) Hollingshead of Newark; daughter, Marsha (Jerry) Hurt of Newark; sons, Terry Hollingshead of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Jerry Hollingshead of Columbus; two grandchildren, Amber and Ashley Hurt of Newark; one great-grandson, Wesley Davis of Newark; four brothers, Ronald "Lefty" Hollingshead, Jerry, John and Everett Hollingshead, all of Newark; three sisters, Margie McConnell and Joyce McCreary, of Newark, and Esther Chapel of Kirtland; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hiram Hollingshead Sr.

Nettie R. 'Aunt Dick' Willey

A funeral service for Nettie R. "Aunt Dick" Willey, 91, of Newark, formerly of the Nashport-Toboso area, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Vensil-0rr & Chute Funeral Home, with Pastor Charles Snedeker officiating. Burial will follow in Hanover Cemetery.
Mrs. Willey, a retired seamstress with Licking Laundry Company, died Dec. 29, 2002, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born May 29, 1911, in Muskingum County, to the late George and Emma (Crawmer) Offenberger.
Mrs. Willey was a member of the Toboso United Methodist Church and the Hanover Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Willey, who died May 22, 1968; infant son, Garry Edward Willey; two brothers, John and Frank Offenberger; and three sisters, Mary Middlemus, Edna Nethers and Nellie Nybarger.

Willard 'Jack' Sinnett

A funeral service for Willard J. "Jack" Sinnett, 54, of Frazeysburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, with Pastor Carl Bergerson officiating. Burial will follow in Newcastle Cemetery, Newcastle, Ohio.
Mr. Sinnett, who was employed in the shipping department of the Longaberger Corporation, died Dec. 29, 2002, at his home. He was born Jan. 27, 1948, in Cairo, W.Va., to the late Guy and Clara (Duff) Sinnett.
Mr. Sinnett was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his common law wife of 22 years, Cora Degarmo of Frazeysburg; son, Curtis L. Sinnett of Millersburg; two daughters, Donna Sue Boley of Millersburg, and Patricia Ann Beachy of Clark; two brothers, Henry Sinnett and Carl Sinnett, both of Millersburg; three sisters, Margaret Parsons of Mount Vernon, Sue Cox of Pullman, W.Va., and Twila Miller of Millersburg; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

C. Lucille (Farmer) Fulton

A funeral service for C. Lucille (Farmer) Fulton, 96, of Mount Vernon, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bell Church of Christ, with Evangelist Don Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Bell Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Fulton, a homemaker and life-long member of Bell Church of Christ, died Dec. 29, 2002, at the Country Club Rehabilitation Center II. She was born Aug. 25, 1906, in Knox County, to the late Ed and Lydia (Schooley) Farmer, but was raised by Ed and Edith Hays.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lulu Mae and Richard Hill of Utica; and several nieces, nephews, many cousins, and special friends, John and Kay Frazee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harry Fulton; and brothers, Burl and Russel Farmer and Harlan Hays.

Oscar Benjamin Johns

A graveside service for Oscar Benjamin Johns, 83, of Newark, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at West Carlisle Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Reimer officiating.
Mr. Johns, a retired farmer, died Dec. 29, 2002, at the Newark Health Care Centre. He was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Coshocton, to the late Harry Chester and Jennie (Howell) Johns.
He is survived by a nephew, Ralph (Melanie) Massie of Newark; grandniece, Kristi Massie; grandnephews, Doug (Carol) Massie and Kevin (Kim) Massie; and great-grandnephew, Evan Massie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Johns and Pearl Massie.
