Wanda Lou (Miller) Blanchard

A memorial service for Wanda Lou (Miller) Blanchard, 69, of Heath, will be held at a later date. She requested that her body be donated to science.
Mrs. Blanchard, a retired licensed vocational nurse in Texas, died June 25, 2002, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Unit at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born May 31, 1933, in Newark, to the late Roy Virgil and Lula Mae (Holman) Miller.
She is survived by a sister, Dorinda Ann Queen of Newark; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy A. and Judith Miller and John Kentrill and Mary Lou Miller, all of Newark; four nieces; three nephews; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blanchard.
No calling hours will be observed.

Thelston O. Mc Coy
May 30, 1918-June 25, 2002
A funeral service for Thelston O. "T.O." Mc Coy, 84, of Fredericktown, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Snyder Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
Mr. Mc Coy, who retired as a manager for the Federal Land Bank serving Licking, Knox, Morrow, Muskingum and Coshocton counties, died June 25, 2002, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born May 30, 1918, in Richland County, to the late O. Clinton and Pauline (Walters) Mc Coy.
Mr. Mc Coy graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1937 and attended The Ohio State University. He served in the United States Army Corps of Engineering during World War II, and was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Mount Vernon, and a 54 year member of the Mount Vernon Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Douglas) Hull of Fredericktown; two sons, David (Marcia) Mc Coy of Fredericktown, and Thomas Mc Coy of Loudonville; five grandchildren, Bradley and Danica Hull, and Kent, Drew and Haley Mc Coy; sister, Geraldine Benson of Fredericktown; brother, Wendell (Edith) Mc Coy of Lafayette, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Clark) Mc Coy; brother, Lyle Mc Coy; and two sisters, Velda Ronk and Ethel Mc Coy.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 33 E. College St., Fredericktown.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete for Virginia F. Lloyd, 81, of Johnstown, who died June 25, 2002, at the Pataskala Oak Care Center.

Clyde Leslie Haught
Dec. 2, 1919-June 26, 2002
A graveside service for Clyde Leslie Haught, 82, of Millersport, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Millersport Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Gill officiating. Military honors will be observed.
Mr. Haught, who retired in 1980 from the Newark Air Force Station after 20 years of service, died June 26, 2002, at the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. He was born Dec. 2, 1919, in Akron, to the late Charles Wesley and Ethel V. (Crane) Haught.
Mr. Haught was a 1938 graduate of Kenmore High School in Akron. He had served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II.
He was a life member of the Millersport VFW 1388 as well as the Millersport American Legion Post 637 and the Millersport Lions Club. He was trustee and life member of the Lancaster-Fairfield Charity Newsies and was past Noble Grand of the International Order of Odd Fellows-Kenmore.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry W. and Donna Haught of Thornville; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna K. Haught of Lancaster, Dina and Ted Keller of Millersport, and Janet and Bill George of Millersport; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Violet and James Schuster of Barberton, and Jean and Donald Fink of Norton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Evelyn Haught; one grandson; one great-grandson; and two brothers.

Adelaide Holl Wesson

A memorial service for Adelaide Holl Wesson, 91, of Granville, will be held at 11 a.m. July 18 at the First Presbyterian Church in Granville with the Rev. Jane P. Mykrantz officiating. A private graveside service will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville.
Mrs. Wesson, a retired editor for the Western Publishing Company in New York City and author of 61 children's books, died June 26, 2002, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 9, 1910, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Lester and Bertie (Smith) Hinkle.
Mrs. Wesson attended Western Reserve University, graduated from Capital University, and received her master's degree from The Ohio State University. She was a former teacher for the Madison Township and Worthington schools systems and a former editor for the Random House Publishing Company in New York City.
Mrs. Wesson was the first recipient of the "Outstanding Alumna Award" given by Capital University and received the "Outstanding Teacher's Medal" from Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge.
Mrs. Wesson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Pi Lambda Theta Sorority.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Bev Holl of Oroville, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Joe Veffer of Amanda; grandsons, Steve and Randy Veffer; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Donald and Pat Hinkle; nephew, Scott Hinkle; and nieces, Lynne Goodman and Kiera Hinkle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter E. Holl and Leonard D. Wesson; brother, Wendell West Hinkle; and sister, Lucille Hinkle Reed.

Mabel M. Prouty

A funeral service for Mabel M. Prouty, 87, of Newark, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Newark Chapel of Henderson, Van Atta & Johnston Funeral Service with Pastor William Cronk officiating. Burial will follow in Hanover Cemetery.
Mrs. Prouty died July 6, 2002, at the Heath Nursing Care Center. She was born Sept. 19, 1914, in Muskingum County, to the late Harry and Ollie (Baker) Long.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Martha Prouty and Fred and Linda Prouty, all of Newark, and Homer and Norma Prouty of St. Louisville; daughter and son-in-law, Gladys and John Gale of Newark; grandchildren, Kimberly (James) McWilliams of Newark, Charles Prouty Jr. of Newark, Don (Melissa) Prouty of Westerville, Cindy (Homer) Osborn of Newark, Michelle (Tom) O'Brien of Newark, Brad (Kathy) Gale of Anchorage, Alaska, John W. Gale of Newark, Deborah Prouty of California, and Daniel (Renee) Prouty of Heath; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Engle, Virginia Bunting, and Ada Lyons, all of Zanesville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Prouty; sister, Eva Garrett; and brother, Edgar Long.

Ralph C. Wilkin
June 24, 1913-July 6, 2002
A funeral service for Ralph C. Wilkin, 89, of St. Louisville, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Eden Cemetery.
Mr. Wilkin, who retired in 1976 after operating Wilkin Wheel Alignment for more than 30 years, died July 6, 2002, at his residence. He was born June 24, 1913, in Purity, to the late Nelson and Estella (Cliver) Wilkin.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Louise (Ashcraft) Wilkin; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and David Smith of Newark; sister-in-law, Mary Farley of Newark; five stepgrandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and buddies, Toby, Sandy, Bertie and Pikachu.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers; three sisters; and one step-great-grandson.

Victor B. Hall
March 19, 1932-July 6, 2002
A memorial service for Victor B. Hall, 70, of Heath, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Heath.
Mr. Hall, who served in the United States Air Force for four years and was stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, died July 6, 2002, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born March 19, 1932, in Paragoul, Ark., to the late Herbert and Birdie (Bradford) Hall.
Mr. Hall retired from DCSC and was also formerly employed at the Newark Air Force Base.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Bonny Hall of Pittsburgh, Pa., Kerry Hall of Heath, and Sean and Kris Hall of Heath; and grandchildren, Jordan Hall, Austin Hall, and Colin Hall.
He was preceded in death by an aunt and uncle, Vera and Vic Meredith; and a granddaughter, Emily Hall.
There will be no calling hours observed.
