William Jesse 'Fuzzy' Henderson

A funeral service for William Jesse "Fuzzy" Henderson, 46, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Chapel. The Licking County Veteran's Alliance will provide military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Henderson, who enjoyed fishing and working on automobiles, died July 15, 2003, at his residence. He was born March 24, 1957, in Newark, to the late Bill and Lora (Triplett) Henderson.
Mr. Henderson served in the U.S. Navy
He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Roberts) Henderson of Newark; two daughters, Jessica and Amanda Henderson of Newark; son, Shawn Henderson of Newark; grandchild, Evan Sherrard of Newark; three sisters, Barbara (Chester) Workman of Thornville, Linda (Donald) Linn of Newark, and Christine Paublos of Newark; two brothers, Terry and Keith Henderson, both of Newark; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lawrence 'Larry' F. Henry
July 12, 1914-July 15, 2003
A Mass of Christian burial for Lawrence F. Henry, 89, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Leonard Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Reis officiating. The family will receive guests at the church, following the funeral mass. Private interment services will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Henry died July 15, 2003, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born July 12, 1914, in Newburg, W.Va., to the late Lawrence and Minnie Pearl (Bolyard) Henry.
Mr. Henry was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He worked for many years as a production controller at the Newark Air Force Base.
Mr. Henry was a parishioner at St. Leonard Catholic Church, where he was a lector and choir member. In addition, he dedicated many hours to St. Leonard's bingo, fish fries, mercy meals and their garden. He was also a member of NARFE 310 and the St. Leonard Council of Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anna (Bacak) Henry; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Russell Scott of Berrien Springs, Mich.; two grandchildren and their spouses, Janna and Brian Lamb and Nate and Anne Scott; one great-grandson, Jacob Lamb; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; and three nephews.
The family requests memorials to Hospice of Central Ohio.

Christine L. Nethers

A funeral service for Christine L. Nethers, 52, of Heath, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Newark Chapel of Henderson, Van Atta & Johnston Funeral Service, with the Rev. Deb Click officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Nethers, a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, died July 18, 2003, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1950, in Newark.
Ms. Nethers was the former secretary at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and had worked for one season at Bear Creek.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda L. Nethers of Newark; mother and stepfather, Bonnie and William Coventry of Heath; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Mark (Bonnie) Whiteside of Newark, William (Bonnie) Coventry of Heath, Fred Coventry of Heath, Judy Nethers of Newark, Sharon Coventry of Heath, Kimmberly Coventry of Heath, and Linda Cunningham of Oregon; four nephews; six nieces; one great-niece and one great-nephew; and fiancé, Derek Thomas of England.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harland Nethers.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 59 N. Fifth St., Newark.

Kenneth M. Wolford
Oct. 7, 1937-July 19, 2003
A funeral service for Kenneth M. "Kenny" Wolford, 65, of Dresden, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, with Father Jack Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Dresden Cemetery.
Mr. Wolford died July 19, 2003, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 7, 1937, in Dresden, to the late John and Katherine (Swope) Wolford.
Mr. Wolford retired in 1999 after 32 years at Clow Water Systems, most of which he worked as a truck driver. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Anna C. (Wright) Wolford, whom he married on June 8, 1957; son, John (Lori) Wolford of Trinway; daughter, Betty J. (Doug) Maurer of Dresden; brother, Donny Wolford of Newark Philadelphia; grandchildren, Jeremy, Tony and Kenny Wolford, and Katie and Abby Maurer; and two special cousins, Shelly Weisend and Lori Cody, whose nursing care this week made a difference.

Terri M. Berry

A funeral service for Terry M. Berry, 45, of Newark, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Father Michael Reis officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Berry, a cashier for the Kroger Co., died July 19, 2003, at Arlington Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 15, 1957, in Marysville, Tenn., to Richard F. Collins and Elaine M. (Grande) Clinger.
Ms. Berry attended St. Leonard Catholic Church, and was a member of the U.F.C.W. Local 1059. She was also an avid gardener and swimmer.
She is survived by her father, Richard F. (Rita K.) Collins of Millersport; mother, Elaine (Grande) Clinger of Heath; daughter, Nicole Berry of Heath; two sons, Dan Berry of Newark, and Dustin Berry of Cape Coral, Fla.; sister, Debra Sturm of Newark; two brothers, Greg Collins of Newark, and Mark Collins of Heath; and three nieces, Danielle Sturm, Mandy Collins and Megan Collins; nephew, Tony Sturm.

Elizabeth F. Bussey

A funeral service for Elizabeth F. Bussey, 86, of Utica, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Utica Presbyterian Church, 9 S. Main St., Utica, with the Rev. Dallas Dryburgh officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Bussey, a member of Utica Presbyterian Church, died July 23, 2003, at the Newark Healthcare Centre. She was born March 3, 1917, in New Boston, to the late Noel and Cloteen (Artis) Moore.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Phyllis Bussey and Michael and Linda Bussey, all of Lancaster; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Walter Masters of Utica; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Bussey, who died on Sept. 20, 1994.

Edna P. Falley

A funeral service for Edna P. Falley, 88, formerly of Newark and Columbus, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Calvin Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Miss Falley, who retired after 34 years of service with Timken Roller Bearing Co. of Columbus, died July 22, 2003, at Hospitality West Nursing Home in Xenia. She was born Nov. 18, 1914, in Newark, to the late Charles and Cora (Drake) Falley.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda S. Combs of Homosassa, Fla.; three grandchildren, Gidget Hensley of Xenia, Melissa Collins of Homosassa, Fla., and Richard Henson Jr. of Xenia; five great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Zachary, Dalton, Tricia and Alexandra; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
