There will be no service or calling hours observed for Edna W. Winkle, 84, of Newark.
Mrs. Winkle, a homemaker, died July 28, 2002, at the Newark Healthcare Centre. She was born March 4, 1918, in South Webster, Ohio, to the late Jacob and Pearl (Belcher) Moore.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Nadine Moore of Ritteman, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Kenneth Holcomb of Newark; and a niece, Vickie Gorley of Nashport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Glenn Winkle; and five brothers.

A funeral service for Rebecca Lynn Powell, 21, of Heath, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Given-Dawson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ruth Roth officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Powell, who was a nurses 'aid at Morning View Nursing Home in Heath, died July 25, 2002, at her residence. She was born Aug. 23, 1980, in Coshocton, to Dale E. Wilson of Coshocton and the late Dixie (Conrad) Wilson Bertram.
Mrs. Powell was a 1999 graduate of Newark High School.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Terry Christopher Powell, whom she married on March 16, 2000; son, Austin Matthew Powell of the home; brother, Michael D. Wilson of Cleveland; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Lourene Wilson of Coshocton; maternal grandparents, William and Beverly Ryan of Florida; maternal stepgrandmother, Phyllis Conrad of Coshocton; stepfather, John S. Bertram of Newark; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Conrad.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton.

Robert A. "Bubba" McVay

A funeral service for Robert Allen "Bubba" McVay, 7, of Coshocton, was held today at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton. Burial followed in Franklin Cemetery.
Robert, who would have been in the first grade at Plainfield School, died July 26, 2002, as the result of injuries from a traffic accident in Monroe County. He was born March 18, 1995, in Zanesville, and was adopted by his grandparents, Richard and Sebrenia McVay of Coshocton.

Milton L. Fry

A private family service for Milton L. Fry, 76, of Martinsburg, will be held at a later date.
Mr. Fry died Sept. 3, 2003, at his residence. He was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Walhonding, to the late Lester Ray and Opal (Fox) Fry.
Mr. Fry retired from Kelsey Hayes. He was a World War II Army veteran, an avid outdoorsman, and attended the Newark Road Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patsy (Croy) Fry; son, Jeffrey Lee (Kimberlea) Fry of Utica; daughter, Julie Phillips and her fiance, Joey Lipsey, both of Cullman, Ala; two brothers, Robert and Richard Fry, both of Coshocton; sister, Zelma (Paul) Thompson, all of Coshocton; four grandchildren, Rick (Crystal) Taylor, Amanda Fry, Tommy Phillips and Jared Lipsey; great-grandson, Noel Garret Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Anthony Fry; daughter, Debra Kay Fry; and sister, Virginia Mencer.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Milton's name to Hospice of Knox County, 302 E. High St., Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.

A funeral service for Bessie A. McDonald, 81, of Pataskala, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pataskala United Methodist Church, 458 S. Main Street, Pataskala, with the Rev. Gerry Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
Mrs. McDonald died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at Wesley Ridge. She was a member of the Pataskala United Methodist Church, Junior Choir director, member of the Chancel Choir, church soloist, past president of the United Methodist Women's Club, and member of the Life Again Club in Newark.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia E. (Gary) Kelsey of Pataskala; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Grover (Helen) Aughenbaugh and Palmer Aughenbaugh; three sisters, Anna Liddick, Ada Walczak and Caroline (Charles) Moyer; sister-in-law, Jeanette (Richard) Stolcpart; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett R. McDonald; and one son, Richard L. McDonald.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Kauber-Miller Funeral Home in Pataskala.
