William J. Flowers Jr., 77, Columbus, died Tuesday, Oct. 3 at his residence.
Born July 31, 1923, he was the son of the late William J. Flowers Sr.
Retired from Rockwell International, he was a former member of the Reynoldsburg F.O.E., an an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, as well as a Bengals fan.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara; four stepsons, Mike (Linda) Stover, Mark (Beth) Stover, Phillip and Tony Stover; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Glenn (Victoria) Beighley and Mrs. Jerry (T. Renee) Lane; two brothers, Virgil and Bob Flowers of Lancaster; three sisters, Jean and Peg of Logan and Hazel of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepson, Stephen Stover.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus.
Burial will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estate.

NETTIE JUNE HEMRICK
Nettie June Hemrick, 85, New Straitsville, died Monday, Oct. 2 at Sunbridge Nursing Home, New Lexington.
Born June 22, 1915, Greendale, daughter of the late William and Jennie Lambert Dye, she was the widow of William Henry Hemrick, who died in 1969.
Surviving are a son, John (Sharon) Hemrick of Springlake, N.C.; three daughters, Jackie Maffin of Glouster, Mrs. Larry (Ann) Wintermute of New Straitsville and Mrs. Lee (Marie) Queen of Portsmouth; 26 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Nelson (Edna) Page, Jean Ellis and Mrs. Buddy (Josephine) Skiver, all of Logan.
She also was preceded in death by three sons, William, Jake and Jerry Hemrick; and a daughter, Jennette Hemrick.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan.
Burial will be in Ebenezer Baptist cemetery, Perry County.

WILBY HAROLD JOHNSON
Wilby Harold Johnson, 86, Logan, died Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Born Dec. 28, 1913 in Deer Creek Township, Pickaway County, he was the son of the late John M. and Mary Linley Johnson.
A U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II, he was a retired traffic engineer with the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, with the Rev. Robert E. Dauber officiating.
Burial will be in Brown Chapel cemetery, Deerfield Township, Ross County.

LENORA R. DEEDS
Lenora R. Deeds, 97, Lancaster, died Thursday, Oct. 5 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.
She was the widow of Frank Deeds.
She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, a past member of American Cancer Society Board, a former 4-H leader, a past member of Berne Union School Board and a former member of Altar Guild at Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Adrian (Betty) Kays of Princeton, Ind., Mrs. Robert (Marcia) Kiger of Lancaster, Mrs. Robert (Peggy) Beery of Logan and Mrs. Jerry (Anita) Bosch of Lancaster; three sons, William (Maxine) Deeds of Lancaster, Robert (Dona) Deeds of Grove City and Harold (Patricia) Deeds of Lancaster; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Grove of Lancaster.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dale and Earl Lauderbaugh.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. John C. Davidson officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery.

QUENTIN E. CADD
Quentin E. Cadd, 55, Logan, died Monday, Oct. 9 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
Born Jan. 14, 1945, Columbus,, son of Evelyn Thomas Cadd Amos of Haydenville and the late Quentin Cadd, he was married
to Linda Souders Cadd, who survives.
The owner of Quentin Cadd Insurance Agency, he was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Hocking Hills Shrine Club, Aladdin Temple Shrine Club, Kentucky Colonels, Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, Mingo Lodge #171 F&AM, Venus Chapter #76 OES, National and Ohio School Board associations, Hocking County Farm Bureau and Logan Moose Lodge. He also was a member of the Logan Hocking School Board, a member of Tri-County School Board, Logan Volunteer Fire Department, former paramedic with Hocking County EMS, a member of Logan Band Boosters, Athletic Boosters and Choir Boosters, Logan Police Department Reserves and Past President of A.C.E.
Also surviving is a daughter, Melinda A. Cadd of Logan; and a brother, Monte Amos of Haydenville.
He also was preceded in death by his stepfather, Edward Amos.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Wheeler, the Rev. Ricci Arthur and Vernon Barrell officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.

Mary Helen Funk, 74, Glouster, died Monday, Oct. 9 at her residence.
Born June 24, 1926, Glouster, daughter of the late William R. and Opal Carpenter Keith, she was married
to Robert Harold Funk Sr. of Glouster, who survives.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Cardaras Funeral Home, Glouster.
Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery.

LLOYD ALLEN TOLLIVER
Lloyd Allen Tolliver, 58, Logan, died Tuesday, Oct. 10 at his residence after a brief illness.
Born April 7, 1942, Falls Township, Hocking County, son of the late Virgil Allen and Ruby Moore Tolliver, he was married
to Patricia Irene Harden Tolliver, who survives.
He retired in May 1999 as a lead man from the Logan General Electric Glass Plant after 37 years of service; was a member of Lancaster Moose Lodge; a member of Nelsonville Chapter X Goldwing Road Riders; and was an avid golfer.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dough (Connie) Williamson of Logan; a son, Kenneth (Lisa) Tolliver of Rockbridge; four grandchildren, Crystal and Devinn Williamson of Logan and Breanna and Keith Tolliver of Rockbridge; a brother, Clyde (Hilda) Tolliver of Logan; and a sister, Mrs. William (Alberta) Evans of Lancaster.
He also was preceded in death by a brother, Donny Tolliver.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, with the Rev. James R. Mathias officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Nelsonville.

Elsie Marie Fetherolf, 72, died Wednesday, Oct. 11.
Born in Logan, she was the widow of Charles Brentlinger.
She was a food service provider in Columbus for over 25 years.
Surviving are three sons, Ralph "Frank" Poling, Charles Brentlinger and Michael (Carol) Brentlinger; five daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Diane) Chapman, Mrs. Bob (Sandy) Mahler, Mrs. Bill (Fern) VanHorne, Lesa Poling and Mrs. Marvin (Rose) Ludwig; a sister, Edna Welcher; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Daniel; and a daughter, Linda.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday at Cook and Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave. with Dr. William L. Snider officiating.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. at Fairview cemetery, Logan.

SAMUEL J. REYNOLDS
Samuel J. Reynolds, 83, Bremen, died Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.
Born, Oct. 1, 1917, son of the late William and Agnus Pille Reynolds, he was married
to Edna Marie Miller Reynolds, who survives.
He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and worked as a truck driver and farmer. He was a member of the Junction City Legion Post #376.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Mary) Thomas of Bremen and Mrs. Jack (Edna) Pettit of Junction City; three sons, John (Gay) Reynolds and Jim (Kathy) Reynolds, of Junction City, and William (Marsha) Reynolds of Bremen; 12 grandchildren, Doug Bell, Diane Bell Arledge, Barbara Bell Gerren, Donald Bell Jr., Connie Wolfe Scott, Lynette Reynolds, Neil Poling, James Reynolds II, Rebecca Reynolds, William Reynolds II, Andrew Reynolds and Angel Reynolds; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, William Reynolds of Bellfontaine and Robert Reynolds of Texas; a sister, Eva Reynolds of Wauseon; four foster sisters, Marcella Fisher and Leota Wesselhoeft, both of Logan, Wilma Yutzy of Plain City and Evelyn Brenneman of Orville; and special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cora Miller and J.P. Howdyshell of Logan.
He also was preceded in death by foster parents, Ellis and Kathryn Good; two grandchildren, Debra A. Bell and Jon Reynolds; a sister, Mildred Becktle; two brothers, Albert and Charles Reynolds; and a foster sister, Doris Good Plank.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Turkey Run Mennonite Church with Brothers Carl J. Wesselhoeft and Melvin Yutzy officiating.
Burial will be in Turkey Run cemetery.
Military graveside services will be conducted by Junction City American Legion Post 376.

ARTHUR E. SANDERS
Arthur E. Sanders, 72, Logan, died Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.
Born March 6, 1928, Coal Grove, he was the son of the late Jacob and Bertha Adams Sanders.
No funeral services will be held per Mr. Sanders request.
His remains will be interred at a later date at Maple Grove cemetery, Lancaster.
Arrangements were made by Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan.
