Robert Douglas Webb, 77, Logan, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital following an extended illness.
Born April 10, 1923, Athens County, son of the late Floyd and Mildred Bedford Goff Webb, he was married
to Helen Elizabeth Beougher Webb, who survives.
A self-employed carpenter, he had formerly been employed by Tri-County Community Action. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Dorothy McCune of Logan and Jean Hughes of Mount Perry; a niece, Robin Kirkey of Somerset; two nephews, Roger and Raymond McCune, both of Logan; and two special friends, Jerry Largent of Logan and Karen Largent of Logan.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Roberts Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert E. Dauber officiating.
Burial will be in Knollwood cemetery, Falls Township.

KENNY E. WHITMORE SR.
Kenny E. Whitmore Sr., 63, Murray City, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000 at Murray City.
Born April 18, 1937, Nelsonville, he was the son of the late Eddie and Adrienne Coe Shelton Whitmore Sr.
Graveside funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Conner cemetery, Buchtel.
No calling hours will be observed.
Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Murray City.
LARRY L. WILLIAMSON
Larry L. Williamson, 60, Lancaster, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.
Born Nov. 1, 1939, Lancaster, he was the son of the late Grant W. Williamson and Nellie A. Anderson Williamson Ogle.
He worked for 43 years as a machinist for Lancaster Metal Products and was a longtime member of Lancaster Eagles 2120.
Surviving are two sons, Jamey (Joyce) Williamson of Chillicothe and Tyler Williamson of Lancaster; two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Penny) Noble of Frankfort and Joy Williamson of Miami Lake, Fla.; four grandchildren; a brother, Fritz Williamson of Rockbridge; a sister, Jeanette Miller of Columbus; and a half sister, Agnes Roop of Columbus.
He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Eugene and Wylie Williamson; and a half brother, Richard Williamson.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Betty Brooks officiating.
No calling hours will be observed.
The family suggests contributions be made to the charity of onešs choice.
ALPHA WOLF
Alpha Wolf, 84, Perry, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000 at her residence.
Born Dec. 18, 1915, South Bloomingville, she was the widow of Eugene H. Wolf, who died in 1971.
Surviving are two sons, Edward (Bonnie) Madison and Albert (Janice) Perry; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Corwin Wolf; five brothers, Beeman, Berman, Burton, Pearle and Clinton Acker; and a sister, Helenia Smith.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, with the Rev. Evan Nunnally, of Cornerstone Friends Church of Madison, officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Painesville.

PERRY MEADOWS JR.
Perry Meadows, Jr., 74, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2000 at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
preceded in death by parents, Perry and Verona Meadows and grandchild, Jordan Meadows.
Survived by sons, Larry (Jan), Gary (Susan) and Ronald (Debbie) Meadows; daughter, Sherry (Cheyene) Fuller; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A U.S. Army World War II veteran, he retired from F&R Lazarus and North American Aviation. He was a member of IOOF.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, followed by a service at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave.
On Monday, visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, W.Va.
Interment will be Tuesday at Boone Memorial Park, Madison, W.Va.
CHARLES R. GASKALLA
Charles R. Gaskalla, 50, Glouster, died Sunday, Nov. 5 at his residence.
Born Nov. 14, 1949, Jacksonville, son of the late William C. and Marcella Barrett Gaskalla, he was married
to Phyllis R. Powell Gaskalla, who survives.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cardaras Funeral Home, Glouster, with Pastor Jane Doughton officiating.
Interment will be in Taylor Ridge cemetery, Glouster.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit.

James Thomas Newman, 74, Edinburgh, Ind., died Friday, Nov. 3 at the VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, Ind.
Born April 15, 1926, Buchtel, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Unkel Newman.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.

Gladys Tignor, 95, Nelsonville, died Saturday, Nov. 4 at Pine Hills Nursing Home, Nelsonville.
Born July 5, 1905, Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late William Clarence and Elizabeth Messel Tignor.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville.

Lucius O. Hartmann, 93, Lancaster, died Saturday, Nov. 4.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Cora B. Hartmann; and two sons, Karl E. Hartmann of Lancaster and Robert Hartmann of Arvada, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Barbara Bort Hartmann; a daughter, Phyllis Ann Hartmann; and a brother, Karl Hartmann.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Halteman Fett and Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster, with the Rev. Karl Hartmann officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery.

Arthur L. "Ott" Koon, 82, The Plains, died Monday, Nov. 6 at Doctors Hospital Nelsonville.
Born Jan. 23, 1918, Doanville, the son of the late Clifford "Tip" and Clara Lanning Koon, he was the widower of Lois Kelly Koon.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville, with Pastor John Johnson officiating.
Interment will be at Greenlawn cemetery, Nelsonville.

WILLIAM RAYMOND HEDGES
William Raymond Hedges, 89, Amanda, died Tuesday, Nov. 7 at his residence.
Born Jan. 30, 1911, Fairfield County, son of the late William Henry and Flora Belle Ellis Hedges, he was married
for 62 years to Wilna Eveland Hedges, who survives.
He worked as a carpenter for over 60 years.
Also surviving are two sons, Lloyd (Joyce) Hedges of Lovely, Ky., and Carl (Janet) Hedges of Amanda; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson; and a sister, Ruth Hoffhines of Ashville.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Bentz; a brother, Wayne Hedges; and two sisters, Mary Creed and Georgia Bell.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Home, Amanda, with the Rev. Hal Keeton officiating.
Burial will be in Tarlton cemetery.
