DANIEL H. BOLIN
Colonel (retired Army) Daniel H. Bolin, 58, Georgetown, Texas, died Tuesday, Nov. 14 at his residence. Born March 11, 1942, Columbus, son of the late William Bolin and Kathleen Gerber Bolin Higgins of Logan, he was married to Sandra Buckley Bolin, who survives. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan. Burial will be in Homestead Crossing cemetery, Rockbridge, with full military honors by Honor Guard of Fort Knox, Ky. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 Sunday at the funeral home.

PHILIP DAVID SCHENZ
Philip David Schenz, 56, Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Buchtel, died Tuesday, Nov. 14 at his residence. Born Jan. 29, 1944, Buchtel, he was the son of Joseph Schenz, Buchtel, and the late Phyllis Louise Wend Schenz. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville. Burial will be in Knollwood cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

GLADYS M. HARPER WHITE
Gladys M. Harper White, 89, Lancaster, died Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was the widow of Fred White Sr. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Betty L.) Romine of Lancaster; stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard (Thelma) Reid of West Haven, Conn.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Leonard (JoAnne) Sullivan of Lancaster; three great-grandchildren, Rhonda, Denise and Tonya; six great-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Zac, Abby, Nicholas and Baron; and a niece, Frances Miller of Lancaster. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Harper; a brother, Lloyd Eveland; and two stepsons, Fred White Jr. and Norman White. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Lancaster, with Chaplain Karl Hartmann officiating. Burial will be in Green Summit cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 Saturday at the funeral home.

CAROL L. DALTON
Carol L. Dalton, 59, Heath, died Thursday, Nov. 16 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Born July 8, 1941, Port Clinton, daughter of Florence Elizabeth Knodel Boyer of Oak Harbor and the late Harold Lee Justice, she was the widow of John A. Dalton Sr. She was a nursešs aide at Heath Nursing and Convalescence Center and a member of Newark Eagles 387. Surviving are two sons, George Graser Jr. of Toledo and John (Rose) Hesser of Logan; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Barbara) Nixon of Logan, Mrs. Douglas (Janet) Jones of New Straitsville and Mrs. Ben (Mary) Meade of New Lexington; a brother, Leslie Boyer of Oak Harbor; five sisters, Marcia Chaffin, Bertha Gracely and Darla Zimmerman, all of Port Clinton, Janet of Michigan and Fannie of Port Clinton; a son-in-law, Richard Cox Jr.; and 13 grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by one daughter; one granddaughter; and one sister. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Criss-Kirkpatrick-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, Newark, with the Rev. Robert L. Knox officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 Sunday at the funeral home. Eagles memorial services will be conducted 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions be made to Newark Eagles.

RUTH L. NELSON
Ruth L. Nelson, 75, Nelsonville, died Thursday, Nov. 16 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home, Lancaster. Born Feb. 12, 1924, Nelsonville, daughter of the late William M. and Hazel Glass Warren, she was married to the Rev. Francis Victor Nelson, who survives. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville. Burial will be in Carbon Hill cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and anytime Monday at the funeral home with the family in attendance from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9.

FAYE O. BAINTER
Faye O. Bainter, 91, Lancaster, died Friday, Nov. 24.
Daughter of the late Simeon and Sarah Nihiser, she was the widow of Charles S. Bainter.
Surviving are a son, Robert (Barbara) Bainter; and a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Bainter, both of Lancaster.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Donald Bainter; a grandson, Rob Bainter; and sisters and brothers.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Halteman-Fett and Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster.
Burial will be in Forest Rose cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 today at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions be made to Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church.

JAMES C. BRADLEY
James C. "Jimmy" Bradley, 55, Nelsonville, died Saturday, Nov. 25 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home, Logan.
Born Jan. 9, 1945, Logan, he was the son of the late Earl W. Bradley and Thelma D. Moore Bradley of Nelsonville.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville, with Pastor Michael Thomas officiating.
Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Nelsonville.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

HELEN LOUISE CARR
Helen Louise Henshaw Carr, 88, Nelsonville, died Friday, Nov. 24 at the Traditions at Stygler Road Nursing Home, Gahanna.
Born May 23, 1912, Nelsonville, daughter of the late Walter and Henrietta Simonton McKibben, she was the widow of Everett Carr.
She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Mervin Henshaw.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Nelsonville.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

RUTH G. GOODWIN
Ruth G. Goodwin, 81, Logan, died Saturday, Nov. 25 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home, Logan.
Born May 5, 1919, Starr Township, Hocking County, she was the daughter of the late Burl and Averil Yarbrough Goodwin.
A retired school teacher, she was a life member of Ohio Historical Society; a member of National and Ohio Retired Teachers Association, Hocking County Retired Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Society, Trinity United Methodist Church of Logan, Heidi Dennis Circle of the Church and TWIG III Hocking Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary. A graduate of Ohio University, she did graduate work at Ohio State, Kent State, Miami at Oxford and University of Colorado. She taught two years in the county and 36 years at Central School in Logan.
Surviving are her family: Terry Burns and family of New Plymouth; Max Allbery and family of Logan; Jim Allbery and family of Clyde; Joan Fuller and family of New Plymouth; Clyde Allbery and family of Grove City; Bill Allbery and family; Diane Mathews and family of Logan; Madge Evans and family of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, with Pastor Rob Dauber officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 Tuesday at the funeral home.

BERTHA MAE HOLDREN
Bertha Mae Holdren, 89, Logan, died Friday, Nov. 24 at Logan Health Care Center after an extended illness.
Born Oct. 30, 1911, Logan, daughter of the late John Elmer and Jennie Dawson Mooney, she was the widow of Charles Arnold "Buck" Holdren, who died in 1994.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Lawrence Elmer and William Wayne Mooney; and two sisters, Viola Frederick and Cleo Cline.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan with the Rev. James R. Mathias officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 today at the funeral home.

GLADYS A. DECORE
Gladys A. Decore, 78, Corning, died Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Sunbridge of New Lexington.
Born July 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lewis A. and Mary Kreitz Hettich.
She was a member of the Corning Bethany United Methodist Church, Corning Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie 463 and Corning American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 327.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bill (Shirley) Spicer of Lancaster, Susan Post of Glouster and Mrs. Jim (Sharon) Larkins of Troy; a son, John L. (Neva) Decore of Shawnee; 17 grandchildren, Pamela Sparks, William Spicer Jr., Teresa Miller, Robert Spicer, James Spicer, Kathyrn Dorminy, David Spicer, Beverly Decore, John Decore, Tim Decore, Scott Decore, Tammy Andrews, Mike Post Jr., Dusty Post, Travis Post, Clayton Larkins and Jesse Larkins; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, June Burns of Zanesville.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, 118 W. Walnut St., Shawnee, with the Rev. Harold Ansel officiating.
Interment will be in Millertown cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and after 7 Wednesday at the funeral home.

MARGARET STELLA PRICE
Margaret Stella Littlejohn Price, 86, Logan, died Monday, Nov. 27 at her residence.
Born Sept. 1, 1914, Logan, daughter of the late Carl B. and Anna Thomas Littlejohn, she was married for 61 years to Ernest H. Price who died March 22, 1994.
A member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Logan, she was past president of the Woman's Society of the Church; a member of the Disciples Class; a life member and past worthy matron of Venus Chapter #76 of the O.E.S; a member of White Shrine of Jerusalem of Hocking Valley #52, Hocking Valley Community Hospital TWIG I, Healing Hearts, Hocking County Historical Society, Starlight Club and Homemakers Club. She graduated from Logan High School in 1932.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Thomas S. Price of Logan; a daughter, Martha A. Sams of Logan; four granddaughters, Dr. Prakash (Katy) Kudlapur, Mrs. Myles (Mary) Burggraf and Amy Sams, all of Logan and Mrs. Shawn (Beth) Hein of Arcanum; two great-grandsons, Nathan and Nicholas Kudlapur of Logan; a brother, Carl F. (Bobbie) Littlejohn of Lancaster; and three nieces; Carolyn Williams, Betty Ellinger and Carla Downs, all of Logan.
She also was preceded in death by an infant grandson; a sister, Amy Jo Hart; and a son-in-law, Floyd M. Sams.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel United Methodist Church with Dr. Ricci Arthur officiating.
Memorial services will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan by the Venus Chapter #76 of the O.E.S.
Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 Wednesday and one hour prior to services at the church.
The family suggests contributions be made to Venus Chapter #76 of the O.E.S., 56 S. Culver St., Logan, Ohio 43138.
