ALMA RADABAUGH JOHNSTON
Alma Radabaugh Johnston, 82, Circleville, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, Feb. 26.
Born Feb. 7, 1918, in Ashland, Ky., the daughter of the late John and Emma (Bryant) Johnson, she was married
to Willis "Red" Johnston, who survives.
She was a member of the Laurelville Church of God.
She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Bill (Shirley) Snouse, Mrs. Lynn (Judy) Summers, Mrs. Jesse (Sue) Curry, Mrs. Rocky (Teresa) Johnson, Mrs. Rick (Denise) Baranick, all of Circleville, and Mrs. Larry (Linda) Bell of Chillicothe; five sons, Robert Radabaugh of London, Larry (Pam) Radabaugh of Ray, Steve (Rita) Radabaugh of Circleville, Jeff (Sonya) Radabaugh of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Richard Radabaugh of Columbus.
Also surviving are two sisters, Betty Callicoat of Reynoldsburg and Wanda Kessler of Sun City, Ariz.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Michael (Marilyn) Radabaugh; several stepchildren; 28 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by her first husband, George Radabaugh; three children, Michael, Virginia and Baby Radabaugh; a grandson, Doug Radabaugh; a great-granddaughter, Ashley Summers; and five sisters Edna, Thelma, Ruth, Molly and Lucille.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Laurelville Church of God with the Revs. Lynn Summers and Harry Mullins officiating.
Burial will be in Green Summit cemetery.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Tuesday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Laurelville Church of God and First Church of God Worship Center.
GERTRUDE LEONARD
Gertrude Leonard, 82, Logan, died Sunday, Feb. 27 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.
Born Aug. 11, 1917, Perry County, daughter of the late Thomas E. and Lucy Geil Howdyshell, she was the widow of James E. Leonard.
She was employed at the former Godman Shoe Factory and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving are a son, James. R. (Kathy) Leonard of Logan; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia A. Lee of Leesburg and Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Hutchison of Granville; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rodney Howdyshell of Mansfield; and a sister, Mrs. Nile (Nellie) Mason of Norfolk, Va.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Freer, and two sisters, Mary Six and Freida Walker.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan, with Richard Stevens officiating.
Interment will be in Snyder cemetery, Green Township.

ANNA RUDZINSKI
Anna Marie Rudzinski, 86, McMinnville, Tenn., formerly of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, Feb. 23 at River Park Hospital, McMinnville, Tenn.
Born June 13, 1913, Jacksonville, daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica Dzwileska Edzikowski, she was the widow of Alexander Rudzinski.
Graveside services will be held noon Saturday at Queen of Heaven cemetery, Trimble, with Father John Mucha officiating.
No calling hours will be observed.

MARY BUNTING
Mary Esther Bunting, 82, Buchtel, died Sunday, Feb. 27 at Pine Hills Continuing Care Center, Nelsonville.
Born Oct. 10, 1917, Buchtel, daughter of the late Ben H. and Fern Bruce Wagner, she was the widow of Terry Bunting.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, Buchtel.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Roberta Bunting of Buchtel; three grandchildren, Kris (Christy) Bunting, Mrs. Kelly (Tara) Bunting-Blair and Matt (Diana) Bunting, all of Buchtel; six great-grandchildren, Adam, Jared, Kayleigh, Lauren and Conner Bunting and Brea Blair; two brothers, Paul "Pig" (Maxine) Wagner of Buchtel and Jack (Shirley) Wagner of Jackson, S.D.; two sisters, Do Wagner Nixon of Buchtel and Roma Bain of California; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Robert Bunting; a great-granddaughter, Allison Nicole Bunting; four sisters, Nola Wagner, Margaret Childress, Marlene Wagner and Rachel Bateman; and three brothers, William, Jerry and John Wagner.
Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, Buchtel.
Interment will be in Whitmore cemetery, Buchtel.

CHARLES HOOPER
Charles J. Hooper, 61, Glouster, died Monday, Feb. 28 at his residence.
Born April 25, 1938, Athens County, son of the late Charlie and Millie G. Glass Hooper, he was married
to Helen E. Spencer Hooper, who survives.
No calling hours will be observed.
Mr. Hooper will be cremated.

PAUL KENNARD
Paul Mace Kennard, 80, Nelsonville, died Monday, Feb. 28 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, The Plains.
Born Jan. 5, 1920, Carbondale, son of the late David and Nora Mace Kennard, he was married
to Waneta M. Hartman Kennard, who survives.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
Interment will be in Asbury cemetery, Nelsonville.

CLEO STEPHENSON
Cleo Violet Stephenson, 87, New Straitsville, died Monday, Feb. 28.
Born Dec. 30, 1912, Glouster, daughter of the late Andrew Farlo and Mary Jane Glaneman Love, she was the widow of Clifford Franklin Stephenson.
She was a retired cook for New Straitsville School and also worked at a defense plant in Detroit, Mich., during World War II. She attended Old Town Baptist Church, New Straitsville.
Surviving are four sons, Clifford Dale Stephenson of New Straitsville, Franklin Eugene (Mary Ellen) Stephenson of Hebron, Kermit Melvin (Janice) Stephenson of Logan and Wendell Wayne (Virginia) Stephenson of Evans, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Mary Kathryn) Fidler of New Straitsville; a sister, Mrs. Jacob (Evelyn) Lehman of Logan; two brothers, James (Dorothy) Love of New Straitsville and Robert (Bonnie) Love of New Lexington; a sister-in-law, Helen Love of Murray City; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Knight; two brothers, Oliver and Andrew Love; a daughter-in-law, Karolyn Stephenson; infant twin brothers; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee, with the Rev. Tim Lehman officiating.
Interment will be in New Straitsville cemetery.

Marie Warren Coots, 95, Nelsonville, died Tuesday, Feb. 29 at Pine Hills Nursing Center, Nelsonville.
Born Aug. 17, 1904, Nelsonville, daughter of the late Henry and Loni Manley Warren, she was the widow of William L. Coots, who died in 1963.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville, with the Rev. Paul Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in Carbon Hill cemetery.

MARGARET W. McDANIEL
Margaret W. McDaniel, 73, Trimble, died Monday, Feb. 28 at Doctors North Hospital, Columbus.
Born Dec. 31, 1926, Franklin County, daughter of the late Walter Mercer Manor and Goldie Elliot Mercer, she was the widow of Wilbur McDaniel, who died Sept. 30, 1995.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home, Murray City.
Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery.

Denzil R. Berkemer, 68, Columbus, died Tuesday, Feb. 29 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
Born Feb. 11, 1932, Columbus, son of the late Fred and Helen Shull Berkemer, he was married
to Linda J. Sadler Berkemer, who survives.

Tessie M. Corne, 74, Laurelville, died Wednesday, March 1 at her residence.
Born Oct. 13, 1925, Hocking County, daughter of the late John and Nellie Tigner Harper, she was married
for 54 years to John D. Corne, who survives.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was a lifelong homemaker.
Also surviving are two sons, John (Cathy) Corne Jr. of Laurelville and Larry (Cheryl) Corne of South Bloomingville; three daughters, Mrs. Jay (Peggy) Powers of Beckley, W.Va., Mrs. Dave (Nancy) Hatzo of South Bloomingville and Mrs. Steve (Penny) Parker of Laurelville; two brothers, Jesse (Vivian) Harper of Hallsville and Marion (Betty) Harper of Laurelville; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by one twin son; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Anna) Hunter and Jane Anderson; and four brothers.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Defenbaugh-Wise Funeral Home, Circleville, with the Rev. Michael Menrath officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery, Laurelville.
