Florence I. Moody, 79, North Canton, died Tuesday, May 23 at Manor Care Health Services, North Canton.
Born in Glouster, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Sadie Mandry Moody.
Funeral services will be noon Friday at Westbrook Park United Methodist Church, North Canton and 1 p.m. Saturday at Cardaras Funeral Home, Glouster.

Burial will be in Hollister cemetery, Glouster.
ROSIE ELLIOTT MOSCATO
Rosie Elliott Moscato, 75, Nelsonville, died Wednesday, May 24 at Doctors Hospital, Nelsonville.
Born Feb. 18, 1925, Athens County, she was daughter of the late John and Jennie Nelson Fugitt.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 and 6 to 8 today at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Nelsonville.
PAMELA MILLER-LIEBTAG
Pamela Miller Liebtag, 45, New Plymouth, died Thursday, May 25 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.
Born Dec. 27, 1954, Loudonville, daughter of Wilbur and Jean Smith Miller of Lakeville, she was married
to Dan Liebtag, who survives.
She was a program manager for Athens County Human Services for 14 years. She received her bachelor's of science degree from Ohio University.
Also surviving are children, Miles and Rae Jean, both of the home; and three sisters, Mrs. Rob (Linda) Mast and Mrs. Daryl (Kate) Woods, both of Lakeville, and Julie Miller of Grandview.
No funeral services or calling hours will be held.
A memorial service will be held at the home of her parents at a later date.

PAUL L. LIVELY
Paul L. Lively, 77, Laurelville, died Thursday, May 25 at Kingston Healthcare.
Born Feb. 1, 1923, Laurelville, son of the late Charles W. and Violet Feightner Lively, he was the widower of Marcella Swackhammer Lively.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he retired from RCA, and was a member of Laurelville VFW 8657 and Adelphi Masonic Lodge 527 F&AM.
Surviving are his significant other, Linda Martin of Laurelville; five sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Charlotte) Saxon of Lancaster, Violet Rister of Laurelville, Mrs. William (Velma Jane) Breeden and Lois Ann Evans, both of Chillicothe, and Mrs. Tom (June) Haynes of Kingston; two brothers, Hugh (Grace) Lively of Columbus and Damon John (Betty) Lively of Circleville; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:30 p.m.. Tuesday at Green Summit cemetery, Adelphi, with the Rev. Raymond Welch officiating.
Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.

DOROTHY MAE OGG
Dorothy Mae Pratt Ogg, 80, Lancaster, went to be with her Lord Friday, May 26 at her residence.
She was the widow of Delno Ogg.
She attended Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and was a member of United Methodist Women's Society and Olivedale Senior Citizens Center.
Surviving are two daughters, Lois Caughenbaugh of Lancaster and Mrs. Joe (Carol) Sloan of Cocoa beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Vickie Church (Randy) Blosser, Joyce Church and Shawn Moroney, Gary (Sharen) Caughenbaugh and Terry (Delena) Caughenbaugh; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and five brothers, Virgil Pratt of Wooster, Bob (Pat) Pratt, Carl Pratt and Gene (Eloise) Pratt, all of Columbus, and Don (Jane) Pratt of Las Vegas, Nev.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster, with Pastors Don Cummans and James Corbitt officiating.
Burial will be in Stukey cemetery.

ANNE BERRY SARGENT
Anne Berry Sargent, 79, Logan, died Friday, May 26 at her residence.
Born Nov. 6, 1920, Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lula Me Cordle Saxton.
She was a member of Church of God in Lancaster.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald (Ruth Anne) Berry of Logan and Ken (Patsy) Berry of London; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Laura Ann) Gillespie and Mrs. Larry (Jeanie K.) Gillespie, both of Logan; 33 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Leona) Sager of Lancaster; a sister, Sophia McFann of Columbus; a cousin, Eileen Scarberry of Bremen; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Harvey and Kermit Berry; a grandson, Jimmy Gillespie; two brothers; a sister; and her first husband, Kermit Berry.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan, with the Rev. Dwain Pyeatt officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Grove cemetery.

NORMAN DEAKINS
Norman Deakins, 86, Trimble, died Friday, May 26 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens.
Born Nov. 21, 1913, Eminence, Ky., son of the late John and Ocie Lindsey Deakins, he was the widower of the late Frances E. Deakins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today at Cardaras Funeral Home, Glouster.
Interment will be in Maplewood cemetery, Glouster, where military graveside services will be performed by the Combined Color Guard Unit.
NANCY A. DUVALL JOHNSON
Nancy A. Duvall Johnson, 68, Lancaster, formerly of Nelsonville, died Saturday, May 27 at her residence.
Born March 15, 1932, New Straitsville, daughter of Mildred Genevieve Slatzer Hartman of New Lexington and the late Samuel Hartman, she was the widow of Dr. Roger Johnson.
A 1949 graduate of New Straitsville High School, she was an avid doll collector, formerly employed with Mechems Clothing and Shoes in Nelsonville, retired from the Peoples Bank, was a member of the First United Methodist Church and of Queen Esther Class of the Church and a charter member of Pirouett Club of Nelsonville.
Also surviving are a son, Brad (Judy) Duvall of Lancaster; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Gayla) Gerz of Amanda; four stepchildren, including Mrs. George (Debbie) Donnelly of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a sister, Mary Ellen Wolcott of Haines City, Fla.; and special friends Dottie Hoskins of Nelsonville and Carolyn Howdyshell of Lancaster.
She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Duvall; a sister, Kathleen Smith; and a brother, Eldon Hartman.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Nelsonville, with the Rev. Gary Carlson and the Rev. Mark Barbie officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Nelsonville.

Jacob M. Hedges, 68, Laurelville, died Sunday, May 28 at Crestview Manor, Lancaster.
Born March 31, 1932, Hocking County, he was the son of the late George and Freida Notestone Hedges.
Surviving are a brother, Charles Hedges of Columbus; three sisters, Esther Giffin of Circleville, Blanche Wilson and Martha Shepard, both of South Perry; and many nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers, George Jr., James and Norman Eugene Hedges; and two sisters, Clara Toops and Norma Jean Hedges.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
Burial will be in Mount Olive cemetery, South Perry.

MARY LOUISE JOHNSON
Mary Louise Johnson, 80, Port Washington, Wis., died Friday, May 19 in Brookfield, Wis.
Born July 11, 1919, Logan, daughter of the late William and Belle Lingafelter Cline, she was the widow of Donald R. Johnson.
Surviving are two daughters, Judith Louise Shelton, Louisville, Ky. and Mrs. Robert (Donna Claire) Stark, Milwaukee, Wis.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mark (Marieta) Brooker and Connie Cline Ball, Logan; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, George Rondel Cline, Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
Funeral services were at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Port Washington, Wis.
Interment was in Mauston, Wis.
THOMAS WILLIS KARSHNER
Thomas Willis "Bill" Karshner, 76, Tarlton, died Monday, May 29 at his residence.
Born Nov. 8, 1923, Delaware County, son of the late Cloyce Nelson and Beatrice Victoria (Daugherty) Karshner, he was the widower of JoAnn Waltz Karshner.
A highly-decorated U.S. Army veteran of WWII, he served with the 501st and 101st Airborne Division. He jumped into Holland in 1944 and served in Bastogne during December 1944. Retired from Dupont, he was a member of the Laurelville VFW 8657, American Legion Post 134 and an active member of Laurelville Senior Citizens and the 501st Wonders.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lonnie (Jackie) Hammons of South Bloomingville, Mrs. Mike (Karen) Greeno of Circleville, Janeen Phillips of Columbus and Cindy Woodworth of Tarlton; two sons, Tom (Amy) Karshner of South Bloomingville and Chuck Karshner of Laurelville; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred (Mary) Karshner of Florida and Ned Karshner of North Carolina; and a sister, Inez Spencer of North Carolina.
He also was preceded in death by two great-grandsons, Seth Holdren and Drew McKnight.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.
