John Anderson Greer – Precious infant son of Mark and Lynne (nee Wade) Greer, passed away suddenly Sunday at Parma General Hospital. John was born August 30, 2002.
Besides his parents he is survived by sisters, Kirsten and Erika and triplet brothers, Timothy and Kevin. Other survivors include maternal grandparents, Bob and Joan Ireland of North Royalton and Howard and Pam Wade of Elyria; paternal grandparents, Bill and Sylvia Rogalski of Olmsted Township and Rollie Woods of Ballwin, MO, aunts and uncles David (Michele) Wade, Dan Wad and James (Karen) Woods.

Eva L. “Dudley” Olmsted (nee Coats) - age 92, of Elyria passed away Saturday evening at Oak Hills Nursing Home in Lorain, OH following a brief illness. She was born in 1910 in Brighton, OH. and has lived in the Elyria area since 1936. Eva graduated from Wellington High School, where she played basketball, Class of 1927.
Eva was a member of Lake Ave. United Church of Christ, was formerly an Eastern Star member, and the Lorain County Policemen Association. She enjoyed travelling, card playing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Eva is survived by a son, Roger E. Dudley of Lorain, OH.; a daughter Joyce A. Ryan of Amherst, OH. and a step-daughter Betty Lou Palmer of North Ridgeville, OH.; 6 grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald E. Dudley (1948), second husband Melvin E. Olmstead (1974), a grandson, Donald E. Ryan (1983), a brother Donald Coats and 4 sistters Lena Matcham, Ada Stone, Edna Watters and Goldie Clawson.
Funeral Service will be at The Funeral Home Wednesday, April 23 at 11:00AM. The Rev . Bob Gross, Pastor of Lake Ave. United Church of Christ, will officiate. Elizabeth “Betty” A. Jensen – 47 of Houston TX, formerly of Avon, OH passed away, suddenly, Wednesday, April 16 at her home. Ms. Jensen was born, March 30, 1956 in Lorain and has lived in Houston the past 20 years. She had worked in the Heath Care Profession as a Dietician. She was a graduate of Akron University and enjoyed travel, running and the outdoors.
Betty is survived by brothers, Louis, John and Allen of Avon; David of Colorado and sisters Margaret Holland of Avon and Joan Hagedorn of FL. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Hazel (nee Klingshirn) Jensen.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, April 25, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 2640 Stoney Ridge Rd., Avon at 11:00am. Fr. Thomas Cleaton of the Church will officiate. Florence M. “Flossie” Stefan - age 74, of Lorain, died Tuesday evening at Community Health Partners in Lorain following a 2 year illness. She was born in 1929 in Lorain, OH. and remained a lifelong resident.
Florence was a homemaker and enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and watching her favorite television programs. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lonnie (Mary) Newell of Elyria; 2 nieces Victoria Lynn Brunson of Las Vegas, NV and Debbie Newell of TN. She was preceded in death by a sister Anna Stefan and 6 brothers, Michael, John, George and Wibert Stefan and Peter and George Markus, and her parents George and Anna Stefan (nee Zayac).
