Robert H. Booher

Robert Booher - age 48, of Columbus, formerly of Elyria, passed away suddenly at his home Tuesday evening and was pronounced at University Hospital in Columbus. He was born July 22, 1956 in Elyria where he graduated from Elyria High School, Class of 1974. While in school, he worked for the Higbee Dept. Store in Elyria and attended First Assembly of God (now Cross Community Church) in Elyria. He moved to Columbus, OH in 1976.
Robert was employed as a Warehouse Manager for Cord Camera in Columbus with over 25 years of service. He enjoyed bowling and playing the guitar.
He is survived by a step-son, Glenn Tompkins of Columbus, OH; his mother, Phyllis Katz (nee Stamper) of Elyria; a sister, Karen J. Booher of Elyria and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis F. Booher in 1964, a sister Helen L. Booher in 1966, and his step-father Allen Katz in 1999.
Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 12 at 11:00am. Rev. Roger Loomis, Pastor of Cross Community Church in Elyria and Rev. George Stamper, will co-officiate. Interment at Brookdale cemetery in Elyria OH. Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street from 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday.
Memorials may be forwarded to a church or charity of choice or to the Gideon International, Logan Camp U47070, 29 Merrill Street, Logan, WV 25601.

Ronald N. Stack

N. Stack – 70, of Sheffield Lake, formerly of Westlake, passed away, Thursday, October 7 at Bradley Bay Care Center following surgery. Mr. Stack was born, May 30, 1934 in Cleveland and had lived in Sheffield Lake the past 13 years.
Mr. Stack was a Real Estate Broker, Mortgage Banker and owner of Stack Realty in Hinckley, during the 1960s and 70s and then owner of New Partners Mortgage Company in Westlake since 1987. He retired in 2003.
Mr. Stack was a graduate of Holy Name High School, Cleveland in 1952, where he played football and continued to be active with the alumni lunch group. He graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors or Science and Commerce in 1959. While at OU he was a member of Phi Kappa Theta fraternity and continued to be active after graduating. It was at OU that he met his wife, Sally. He had served in the Army Reserves.
While in Hinckley, Mr. Stack was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church and in Sheffield Lake he was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
He was a member of the Hinckley Voters League, and was active with Hinckley Buzzard Day. Mr. Stack was active in many professional organizations including, Past President of the Medina County Board of Realtors, Cleveland Area Board of Realtors, the Graduate Real Estate Institute and several investment clubs. He was also a member of the Irish Heritage Club in Avon Lake.
Mr. Stack was a regular blood donor. He enjoyed jogging and walks with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed Lake Erie. He had an interest in geneology and followed the stock market. He enjoyed travel especially a trip taken to Europe. Mr. Stack appeared as an extra in the Disney Movie, “It’s Tough to be a Bird” where he can be seen flipping pancakes.
He was described by his family as generous, fun, laid back, jolly, friendly, hard working, trusting and helpful.
Mr. Stack is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sally L. (nee Glasco) whom he married , October 1, 1960. Other survivors include two daughters, Katherine Ann Stack (Peter A. Russell) of Strongsville and Susan Stack Nye (Charles) of Westlake; a son David J. Stack of Ohio City, Cleveland; two grandchildren Allison Stack Russell and Devin Stack Russell and a sister, Carole Kowalski of Marco Island Fla and formerly of Westlake. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reynold J. and Silvia B. (nee Prusha) Stack and a brother Lawrence S. Stack.
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, Sunday, October 10 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm. All Funeral Services will be at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 521 Harris Rd. Sheffield Lake, Monday, October 11 at 1:00pm. Fr. Stephen Shields of the church will officiate. Cremation will be by Busch Crematory. Memorial Contributions may be forwarded to the Salvation Army Camp Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 6538 Cleveland, 44101-1538.

Avon Lake, OH – Russell A. Ruprecht, 46, of Avon Lake, died Thursday, October 7, 2004, at Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland due to injuries resulting from a motorcycle accident. He was born August 7, 1958 in Cleveland and moved to Avon Lake from Brunswick eight years ago. He was a graduate of Normandy High School, Parma. Russell was employed as a lineman for First Energy the past 16 years. Recently he helped with utility work in Florida following the hurricanes. He was a member of the utility workers union and was involved with his son’s soccer and baseball teams in Avon Lake. He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, boating, golfing and was a Cleveland sports fan.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Jeane M. (nee Wells); a son Eric and a daughter, Elaina both at home; his mother Joan Mass of Seven Hills and his father, Cletus and stepmother Jan Ruprecht of North Ridgeville; sister Renee’ Hritz (Mark) of Parma and stepbrother Roger Mass (Stephanie) of California; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Jenelle Hritz and Tim, Bill Jr. and Stephanie Wells. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, William C. Mass. Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon, from 2-4 & 6-9pm Sunday. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, October 11 at 11:00am. Rev. C. Michael Gibson, pastor of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville will officiate. Marion R. Fordyce - age 85, of Elyria, passed away Sunday evening at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born October 12, 1919 in Wadstown, WV and served in the US Army during World War II.
Marion retired from the GM Fisher Body Guide Plant in Elyria .
He is survived by daughters Dottie Lowery and Shirley Dotson, both of Elyria and a son, Fred Fordyce of Phoenix, AZ.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Fordyce (nee Hamilton) and a son, Bill Fordyce.
Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home Wednesday, December 1 at 1:00pm. Rev. Chuck Lenninger, Associate Pastor of Elyria Baptist Church will officiate. Bhushan Lal Wadhwa, Ph.D., died November 28, 2004 of a stroke. Dr. Wadhwa taught math at Cleveland State University for 34 years. Dr. Wadhwa lived in Cleveland Heights for over 30 years and is survived by his wife, Tripta, sons, Sandeep, Sunil and Bhrigu, six grandchildren, Nikhil, Jenny, Maya, Adri, Ethan and Natalie; and an extensive family of brothers and sisters and their families in India.
