Daniel E. Feher age 77, of Elyria, passed away Sunday morning at EMH Regional Medical Center following complications from a stroke. He was born in 1927 in Elyria and remained a lifelong resident. He dropped out of school in 1944 to join the US Army and served in Italy during WWII. Returning from service, he graduated from Elyria High School in 1946. Daniel retired in 1986 from Smith and Jones (formerly American Standard) in Elyria where he was a Shipping Supervisor with over 35 years of service. He enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his son, Thomas D. Feher of Grafton; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vema O. Feher (nee Horton) in 1997 and his parents, Louis and Margaret Feher (nee Tish). A commital service will be held at the Chapel of Brook dale cemetery in Elyria at a time to be announced. Busch-Curtis-Scheuffler Family Chapel is handling arrangements.
