Charles R. Pamer
Charles R. " Chuck" Pamer, 40 of Elyria died at his home May 21, 2005, unexpectedly.
Mr. Pamer was born on Feb. 6, 1965 in Berea and has lived in this area since the mid-1990's. He was a 1983 graduate of Lakewood High School. He attended New Life Baptist Church in Elyria.
He had been employed at the Chrysler Plant in Twinsburg.
He is survived by his son Sean Pamer of Peoria, IL, mother Mary Ann Pamer of Lakewood, sister Christine Floyd of Burkee, OH and his paternal grandfather Raymond Pamer of Twinsburg.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at 3:00 PM in the New Life Baptist Church, 720 E. River Road, Elyria, Ohio with Pastor Duncan Meadows officiating.
There will be no funeral home visitation.

Becky Pawlak
Becky (nee McIntyre) Pawlak, 50 of Vermilion died Friday October 14, 2005 at Community Health Partners and Surgical Center in Lorain, unexpectedly.
Ms. Pawlak was born on December 26, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA and has lived in the Lorain and Western Cuyahoga County area since 1968. She was a 1973 graduate of Bay Village High School. She had been employed as an assistant manager at the Pizza Hut in Elyria.
She is survived by her parents Howard and Shirley (nee Keiser) McIntyre of Hendersonville, NC, finance of Jack Long of Vermilion, sister Saundra Kolodziej of Tomball, TX, brother Bruce McIntyre of Rocky River, OH, and Robert McIntyre of Sheffield Lake, OH one nephew and two nieces.
There will be no services or visitation. Arrangements handled by Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, Lorain, OH.

Robert W. Phillips
Robert W. Phillips, 59 of Lorain died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at his home unexpectedly.
Mr. Phillips was born on September 9, 1949 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Admiral King High School. He then earned an associate degree in General Studies from Lorain County Community College. He was a self employed CAD operator assigned most recently to Marconi.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed working with computers.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his brother Roger W. Phillips of Lorain.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harry W. and Alberta A. (nee Pennington) Phillips.
Services are private.

Robert W. Prill
Robert W. Prill, 84 of Lorain died on Monday, April 25, 2005 at Ohio Extended Care Center in Lorain, OH following a long illness.
He was born on March 1, 1921 in Cleveland, OH and lived in Lorain all his life. He was a graduate of Lorain High School.
He was a veteran of the US Army Air Force and served during WWII. He was an airplane armorer-seeing action at Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and in Central Europe. For his service he earned EAME Theater Ribbon with 4 bronze stars and the Good Conduct Medal.
Prior to his military tour of duty, he worked at the former American Crucible in Lorain. Following his discharge, he began his career as a gear cutter with the former Thew Shovel. He retired in 1980 after 32 years service.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 8686 in Sheffield Lake.
Mr. Prill is survived by his wife of 52 years Rose Marie (nee Glading) Prill, daughters, Laura S Berg of Lorain, Sheila K. Massimiani of Elyria, Linda M. Oliver of Meridian, ID, Gayle L. VanNiel oif South Amherst, son, Wayne R Prill of Edmond, OK, 5 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, his sisters Virginia Grunda of Sheffield Lake, and Dolores Kos of Elyria.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Cecelia (nee Michalski) Prill, sister Lenora Paulovcic, and infant brother Darryl Prill.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals in Lorain, OH, with Mr. James Hiser officiating.
Robert W. Prill will be buried at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Full military honors will be provided by the VFW Post 451of Lorain.

Doyle E. Ritter
Doyle E. Ritter, 75 of Sheffield Lake, Ohio died late Wednesday evening, October 26, 2005, in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following a brief illness.
Mr. Ritter was born in Clark County, Iowa on October 20, 1930, moving to this area in 1952. He was a veteran of the US Air Force attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He retired in 1995 as a general foreman in the maintenance department at B. F. Goodrich.
Mr. Ritter was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and an accomplished wood craftsman. He enjoyed carpentry and refurbishing interior wooden decor. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Avon Lake.
He is survived by his wife Janet C. (nee Mullner) Ritter, to whom he was married
on December 16, 1951, daughters: Peggy A. Adams, Kathy M. Groene both of Lorain, OH, Linda J. Pena of Sheffield Village, OH, Connie S. Davis of Richfield, OH, Valerie K. Ousoiny of Indianapolis, IN, Monica L. Rameriz of Lakewood, OH, Sons: Michael Ritter of North Olmstead, OH., David Ritter of Sheffield Lake, OH., Jeffrey Ritter of Lorain, OH, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. sisters: Ada Rodda of Osceola, Iowa., Thelma Davis of Osceola, Iowa., and Norma Ritter of Lincoln, NE.
Mr. Ritter was preceded in death by a grandson Joey Pena, parents Aaron E. and M. Mae (nee Wilson) Ritter, brothers: William, Walter and Merle Ritter.
Memorial Service in Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 29, 2005.

Naomi Louise Rutledge
Naomi Louise Rutledge, 81 (nee Jenkins) of Sheffield Township died Saturday, November 12, 2005, at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following a long illness.
Mrs. Rutledge was born on May 9, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a graduate of Central High School and pursued her education al Ohio State University, Lorain County Community College and Cleveland College of Case Western Reserve. She finalized her formal nursing training by graduating from the Harlem School of Nursing in 1951.
She worked as a registered nurse at Harlem Hospital in New York City, Marine Hospital, Veteran's Hospital and University Hospital in Cleveland before coming to St. Joseph's Hospital in Lorain. She worked for 26 years at St. Joseph's first in the emergency room and then teaching in the St. Joseph's School of Practical Nursing for the last 14 years of her career.
Mrs. Rutledge was a charter member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church, a church elder and sang in the choir. She was active with RSVP, Lorain County Lutheran-Presbyterian Co-op, and the Lorain Free Clinic. She was a member of the Lorain 400 Club and had served as it's president. She also was a leader of the Heritage Book Group.
She enjoyed music, singing, golf, reading, crafts and volunteering.
Mrs. Rutledge is survived by sons: Albert Rutledge of CA., and Darryl Rutledge of Moreno Valley, CA., 4 grandchildren, twin sister: Ruth Laney of Cleveland, Ohio and brothers: William Jenkins of Cleveland, Ohio, Raymond Jenkins of Cleveland, Ohio, and 3 nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents James W and Margaret Jenkins, brother Joseph Jenkins and sister Hallie Harris.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 21, 2005, at 11:00 AM in the Heritage Presbyterian Church, 515 North Leavitt Road, Amherst, Ohio 44001. Rev. James E. Smucker, pastor will officiate
Burial was in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, OH.

Josefina F. Salas
Josefina F. Salas, 80, (nee Fernandez) died on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph in Lorain, OH following a brief illness.
She was born on June 30, 1924 in Congregacion Calles, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She moved to Lorain in 1956. She was a homemaker. She had been an accomplished seamtress and briadl gown maker in Mexico. She was a member of the Toledo Road Church Of Christ.
Mrs. Salas enjoyed gardening, singing and dancing.
Mrs. Salas is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Rivalsky of Brecksville, Ohio, sons, Joel Salas of Avon, Ohio, Dr. Samuel Salas of Amherst, Ohio, and Dr. Abner Salas of Atlanta, Georgia , 8 grandchildren, brothers Francisco Fernandez of Monterrey, Mexico, Napoleon Fernandez of Congregacion Calles, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, sisters Maria G. Fernandez of Lorain, Ludivina F. Sanchez of Monterrey, Mexico, and Alejandrina F. Shember of Monterrey,Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel A. Salas on July 5, 1991, parents Eutimio F. and Maria Inez (nee Cavazos Lopez) Fernandez, brothers Rogelio Fernandez, Pablo Fernandez, Lucas Fernandez, Florencio Fernandez, Eutimio H. Fernandez, and Ruben Fernandez.
Friends may call at Toledo Road Church of Christ, 5075 Toledo Road, Lorain, OH, on Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 10:00 am until time of funeral at 1:00 pm. Mr. James Hiser will officiate.
