Elaine Alma Kehler (nee Shum) – 75 of Avon Lake, passed away, Wednesday, March 03, 2004 at her home following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Kehler was born, April 14, 1928 in Cleveland and had lived in Avon Lake since 1954.
She had worked as an Inventory Control Specialist for B & B Glass, Cleveland. She was an active member of St. Joseph Parish, Avon Lake where she was a PRS instructor.
She is survived by 5 daughters: Ann Cothran (Stan), Mary Wolford (Terry), Jeanne Jaeger, Eileen Kehler and Geraldine Kehler all of Avon Lake; 3 sons: Thomas Kehler, Joseph Kehler, both of Avon Lake and James Kehler (Kristin) of Columbus; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Joseph Kehler, 2 sons Robert Kehler and Larry Kehler and a daughter Kathleen Crawford (Bill) and her parents, George and Pearl (nee Friedrich) Shum
