AVON, OH – Jacqueline F. Wilcox (nee Swilik), age 72, of Avon and formerly of Bay Village passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at her home following a 13 month illness. Mrs. Wilcox was born July 24, 1931 in Cleveland and was a 1949 graduate of Bay High School and attended Bowling Green State University. Jacqueline was a homemaker. She moved to Avon two years ago from Bay Village, where she was a member of Bay Presbyterian Church and the Bay Village Women’s Club. She enjoyed preparing monthly lunches for a Gourmet Club, golfing, and walking her dog.
Mrs. Wilcox is survived by her husband of over 49 years, William E. She is also survived by a daughter, Kathy Haaning (Kurt) of Fishers, Indiana and a son, Jim Wilcox (Karen) of Avon Lake; four grandchildren, Kaitlin, Ryan, Kyle and Casey and a sister, Gail Miller of Findlay, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Achsa (nee Dinsmore) Swilik.

Frances K. Coughlin (nee Farrington) – 84 of Sheffield Lake, formerly of Arlington Mass. passed away, Sunday, June 20, 2004, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Avon, following a long illness. Mrs. Coughlin was born, May 1, 1920 in Arlington, Mass and has live in Sheffield Lake the past 46 years.
Mrs. Coughlin was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake. She served as an officer of the parents club at Lorain Catholic High School. She was a member of the Aqua Marine Golf League and the Aqua Marine Bowling League. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. She was a sports fan, especially Notre Dame Football.

, January 20, 1943. Other survivors include 3 sons: William Coughlin (Evelyn) of Natick, Mass. Mike Coughlin of Sheffield Lake, Frank Coughlin (Sheryl) of Avon Lake; 2 daughters: Frances Frank (Richard) of Avon Lake and Miriam Leen (Harry) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and a brother. She is preceded in death by a son Thomas and her parents: Henry and Katherine (nee Maloney) Farrington.
