Christopher A. Kreiner II, 17, of Brunswick, died Friday, March 9, 2001, at Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center.
He was born April 23, 1983, and was a senior at Brunswick High School.
He is survived by his parents, Mary and Michael Pavlic; sister, Leona Kreiner; and grandparents, Robert and Elnora Markle and Michael and Dorothy Pavlic Sr.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Kreiner.
Service: 11 a.m. today at Carlson, A Golden Rule Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road (one-half mile south of state Route 303), Brunswick. The Rev. George Gribbons will officiate.
Burial: Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Va.
Barbara R. Steirer
Barbara Rose Steirer, 84, died Sunday, March 11, 2001.
She was born Dec. 8, 1916. Mrs. Steirer was a homemaker all her life, except for a brief employment during World War II.
She was the dear mother of Michael (Janice) Steirer, Joe (Terry) Steirer and Mary Frances Steirer; and grandmother of Jennifer, Laura, Susan, Meredith, Joe Jr., Betsy and Kathy.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Victor; son, Paul; and brothers, John and Frank Denich.
Mass of Resurrection: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 525 Dover Center Road, Bay Village.
Visiting hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Center Road, Westlake.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery.
Rose Wendorff
Rose Wendorff, 107, of Medina, died Monday, March 12, 2001, at Ohio Pythian Sisters Home of Medina following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Vermilion and resided in Lakewood for many years prior to moving to Medina County. Mrs. Wendorff was a homemaker.
She is survived by her nephews, Orville Breckenridge of Medina and Clyde Wofli of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harry Wendorff, and nephew, Donald Breckenridge.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
Visiting hours: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City.
Dennis A. Fehlner
Dennis A. Fehlner, 50, of Medina, died Saturday, March 10, 2001, in Medina.
He was born April 24, 1950, in Cleveland and was a Medina County resident for eight years. Mr. Fehlner was a metallurgical engineer at Ford Motor Co. for 26 years. He was retired from the Ohio Army National Guard, Company B 112th Engineer Battalion. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, running, woodworking and music.
He is survived by his wife, Linda M. (nee Kyer) of Medina; sons, Alan P. Fehlner and Jason T. Fehlner, both of Cleveland, and Matthew R. Fehlner of Olmsted Falls; stepson, Gilbert T. Korka of Grafton; grandson, Jeremy Korka; granddaughter, Jamie Korka; father, George T. Fehlner of Avon Lake; mother, Dorothy M. Fehlner of Cleveland; grandmother, Alice C. Fehlner of Avon Lake; sister, Deborah L. Darnell of Avon Lake; brother, Robert G. Fehlner of Broadview Heights; very good friend, Diane C. Fehlner of Olmsted Falls; and companions, his dogs, Amber and Sissy.
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Chapel, 3939 Granger Road, Medina. The Rev. John Chapman will officiate.
Burial: Elmhurst Cemetery, Avon.

David K. Hinderman
David K. Hinderman, 53, of Brook Park, died Friday, March 16, 2001, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born July 19, 1947, at Medina Community Hospital. He worked at the Ford Motor Co. casting plant. He enjoyed throwing darts, playing billiards and golf. He also enjoyed fishing, locksmithing and being a masseuse.
He is survived by his mother, Eileen Hinderman of Medina; daughter, Traci S. (Roy) Range of Olmsted Falls; son, Trent J. (Carolyn) Hinderman of Olmsted Township; sisters, Kathleen A. Hinderman and Terri L. Kunkler, both of Lodi, Peggy Jo Garnsey of Creston, Pamela J. Foster of Oklahoma and Teddi L. Sunkel of Wooster; and brothers, Kevin S. Hinderman and Brian K. Hinderman, both of Kentucky, and Timothy S. Hinderman of Medina.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Hinderman.

Joseph G. Maynard
Joseph G. Maynard, 78, of Hinckley Township, died Friday, March 16, 2001, in Medina.
He was born March 5, 1923, in Kentucky and was a Medina County resident since 1964. He was an ink proofer for American National Can for 37 years. Mr. Maynard enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and his beagles. He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Maynard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mabel (nee Domincik); sons, Ralph T. (Gloria) Maynard of California and Richard J. (Susan) Maynard of Minnesota; daughters, Rose M. (Robert) McGuire of Cleveland and Rita A. Blough (fiancé Jim Miktuk) of Medina; sister, Tennie Leslie of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Russell.
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road (state Route 303 at Interstate 71). Dr. Richard S. Powers will officiate.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.

Andy Sewalish
Andy Sewalish, 82, of Hinckley Township, died Thursday, March 15, 2001, in Hinckley.
He was born Oct. 18, 1918, in Bakerton, Pa., and was a Medina County resident for 44 years. Mr. Sewalish was a maintenance supervisor for Tinnerman Industries in Brook Park for 34 years. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, camping and travel. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Sewalish was a member of Junior Achievement, the Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corp. and the American Legion post in Hinckley. Mr. Sewalish was active in the Brunswick and Hinckley Little Leagues. He was a founding member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Hinckley and with his wife was active in the building of their new Shrine of Two Hearts. He served in the Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart.
Mr. Sewalish is survived by his wife of 58 years, Verna Sewalish; daughters, Peg Bush and Michelle (Chuck) Lupica; sons, Larry, Rick and Ken (Barb); brothers, Matt and Paul (Kathryn); sister, Ann Pelko; grandchildren, Deb, Chris, Natascha, Tanya, Rick Jr., Heather, Bret, Kelly, Jordan, Sam and Cal; and great-grandchildren, Marlena, Julia and Mary Ellen.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Heidi; five brothers; and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Hinckley. Pastor William O'Neill will preside.
Burial: Eastlawn Memory Gardens on Grafton Road, Brunswick.
