Ralph V. Barnett
Ralph V. Barnett, 85, of Wadsworth, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Saxton, Pa., and resided in Wadsworth for the past 54 years. Mr. Barnett was employed as a stationary engineer at Goodyear, retiring in 1981 with 71/2 years of service. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, VFW Post 1089, American Legion Post 170 and the Cribbage and Bridge clubs at the Center for Older Adults. Mr. Barnett was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pauline H.; daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Mike Esterle; grandsons, Keith and Kurt (Jennifer), both of Akron; and brother, Charles of Martinsburg, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. The Rev. Jonathan A. Knight will officiate.
Interment: 11 a.m. Monday in Orbisonia, Pa.
Visiting hours: 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Theda M. Clevenger
Theda Marie Clevenger, 72, of Brunswick Hills Township, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2001, at Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights.
She was born Nov. 7, 1928, in Mt. Holly, N.C. Mrs. Clevenger was employed as a packer for the nut and bolt division at Republic Steel for 23 years.
She is survived by her sons, Burnett (Barbara) of Brunswick Hills and Jeffrey (Catherine) of Valley City; daughters, Patricia (Emmett) Taylor, Kimberly (William) Barnes and Tammy (Rick) Barr, all of Brunswick Hills; grandchildren, Lori, Jeffrey, Chrissy, Traci, Christopher, Jenni, Stephanie, Tiffany, Jesse and Nina; and great-grandchildren, Jimmy Henry and Jakob Barr. She was the beloved aunt of Pam, Samuel "Skip," Marty and Tammy.
Mrs. Clevenger was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Burnette, and sister, Jackie Johnson.
Memorial service: 8 p.m. today at Carlson, A Golden Rule Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road (one-half mile south of state Route 303), Brunswick. The Rev. Dr. Richard Powers will officiate.
Interment: Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina.

Patricia Gillium
Patricia Gillium (nee Ehrhart), 76, of Medina, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2001.
She was born in Cadiz, Ohio, and was a Medina County resident for 37 years. Mrs. Gillium was retired.
Loving mother of James Ehrhart and Jeffrey Allen.

Tressa Crisp
Tressa Crisp, 91, of Brunswick, died Friday, April 20, 2001, at Willowood Care Center in Brunswick.
She was born Dec. 6, 1909, in Fentress County, Tenn. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Crisp is survived by her son, Chester Crisp of Burrville, Tenn.

Clair E. Falconer
Clair E. Falconer, 85, of Medina, died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Medina General Hospital.
He was born in Medina County and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of United Church of Christ Congregational, life-member of Knights of Pythias and member of Masonic F&AM 58. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and traveling. He was a loving husband and father as well as a guiding light to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Falconer worked at Medina County Farm Bureau and Seville Elevator and retired from the Medina Farmer's Exchange.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth F. (nee Patten) of Medina; daughters, Frances (Earl II) Mack of San Ramon, Calif., Donna McClung of Medina, Ruth Ann (Gary Sr.) Tallman of Delaware, Ohio, Sandra Getty of North Benton, Ohio, and Gayle (Kenneth Sr.) Rogers of Medina; grandchildren, Christine (David Sr.) Baker of Tracy, Calif., Kenneth Mack III of San Ramon, Jennifer, Gary Jr. and Edward McClung, all of Medina, Gary Jr., Shasta and Joshua Tallman of Delaware, and Sara and Lisa Getty of North Benton and Brandy, Kenneth Jr. and Stephanie Rogers, all of Medina; great-grandchildren, Ashlei Smith of Medina, David Jr. and Daniel Baker of Tracy, Calif., and Jasmine, Jada and Alexis Rogers, all of Medina; sister, Lenore Edwards of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary, and sister, Irene Orr.

Richard B. Kennedy
Richard B. Kennedy, 81, of Medina, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at Samaritan Care Center.
He was born Nov. 4, 1919, in Beaver Falls, Pa., to Lewis C. and Margaret (nee Braden) Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy was the founder and owner of KENCO Products Inc. and EPCO Sales Inc. of Cleveland. He enjoyed golf and was a member of Weymouth, Lakewood and Columbia Hills country clubs. He served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Florence (nee Ecoff) of Medina, whom he married on Nov. 10, 1941; daughter-in-law, Joyce Kennedy of Medina; grandsons, Charles (Sunny) Kennedy of Brunswick, William Kennedy of Parma and John Kennedy of Strongsville; and granddaughter, Katie Kennedy of Medina.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas, and brother, Charles.
All services will be private.
Interment: Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina.

Michel R. Kinney
Michel R. Kinney, 45, of Brooklyn, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2001, at his residence.
Mr. Kinney was disabled from Ford Motor Co. He also was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia L. Kinney of Brooklyn; son, Michael P. Kinney of Tonawanda, N.Y.; daughter, Kelsey C. Kinney of Brooklyn; sisters, Roberta Spremulli of Westlake and Mary Ann Smith of Cleveland; and brother, Patrick Kinney of Chippewa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and mother, Peggy (nee Budna).

Paul E. McMahon
Paul E. McMahon, 57, of Valley City, died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at his home.
He was born March 2, 1944, in Bellaire, Ohio, and was a Medina County resident most of his life. Mr. McMahon was a member of York United Methodist Church, United Church of Christ Valley City, Litchfield Masonic Lodge and the Great Lakes Carving Club. Mr. McMahon retired from General Motors after 321/2 years of service. He was a material handler.
Mr. McMahon is survived by his wife of 37 years, Charleen (nee Hamric) McMahon of Valley City; daughters, Sherri (Bob) Parks of White Lake, Mich., Jennifer (Jake) Weyand of Nashville, Tenn., and Susan McMahon of Toledo; grandchildren, Emily Jane and Jordan Paul; sisters, Hazel Davis of Litchfield Township, Sarah Traylinek of Medina, Victoria Cargnell of Glencoe, Ohio, Wilma (Bill) Meyers of Bellaire, Mary Jane McGilton of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Shirley Ware of Bellaire; brothers, Howard (Betty) McMahon of Jacobsburg, George McMahon of Bellaire and Russell (Veronica) McMahon of Moundsville, W.Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Murwood and MaryAnne McMahon, and sister, Rachel McMahon.

Ronald L. Reed
Ronald Lee Reed, 59, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Lakewood Hospital.
He was born Sept. 29, 1941, in Cleveland and was a longtime resident of Hinckley Township. Mr. Reed was employed as a routing technician supervisor at AT&T. He served in the Navy.
He is survived by his mother, Janis (Steve) Hengeli of Hinckley; sons, Ronald L. (Cynthia) Reed of Valley City, Raymond (Catherine) Reed and Randall Reed, both of Michigan, and Russell Reed of Columbus; daughter, Richelle Reed of Oil City, Pa.; brother, Steve Hengeli of Hinckley; sisters, Linda Marz of Texas and Cynthia Hengeli of Columbus; and grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryan and Shawn Reed, Jessica and Jerry Donovan, and Kaylee Rehberg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Reed.

Doris E. Boyle
Doris E. Boyle (nee Shelton), 81, of Wauwatosa, Wis., formerly of Medina, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Careage of Brookfield, Brookfield, Wis.
She was born June 16, 1919, in Pennsylvania and was a Medina County resident for many years. She was a member of Medina United Methodist Church. Mrs. Boyle was a second-grade school teacher at Garfield Elementary for 23 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Lee Ann (William) Heller of Wauwatosa and Carole (Richard) Wasnich of Honolulu; and grandchildren, Ian and Kaela Wasnich, Kyle and Laura Heller, and Lee, Jack and Steven Boyle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, and son, Wade.
Service: Noon Tuesday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. Dr. Irwin Jennings will officiate.
Burial will be private at Mariboro Cemetery.
