Annabel Rice Lynam
Annabel Rice Lynam, 93, passed peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006.
A graduate of the Francis Payne Bolton School of Nursing, she was an RN at University Hospitals, Hanna House.
She was the beloved wife of the late William A.; loving mother of John (Carol) and Nancy (Don); loving sister to the late Dorothy Worley, Harriet Remillard, Mary Meeks and Philip Rice; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose A. Papula
Rose A. Papula, 84, of Chippewa Lake, passed away in the comfort of her home on Friday, Oct. 13, 2006.
She was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Brownsville, Pa. She was a homemaker. Well known and loved as "Grandma Rose," she was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, Jesus Divine Redeemer in the Chippewa Lake area, where she was very involved. She was a member of the Rebekah Guild, VFW, Seabee group and the Grandmas Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Norman) Placek of Chippewa Lake; grandchildren, Gary (Tracy), Scott (Stephanie), Jeffrey and Kimberly (Jim) Placek; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Jason, Justin, Jessica, Tyler, Makayla, Sarah, Anthony and Rebekah; and sister, Helen Verosky of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1969; parents, Joseph and Anne Kapolka; great-granddaughter, August-Anna; four brothers; and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, Jesus Divine Redeemer, 7230 Lake Road, Lafayette Township. Father Ned Weist will officiate.
Private family burial services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.

Lillie Mae Castle
Lillie Mae (nee Queen) Castle, 86, of Chardon, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in Geauga Hospital. She was a resident of Chardon Assisted Living.
Lillie Mae was born in Branchland, W.Va., to Floyd and Carrie (nee Merritt) Queen.
She will be missed by her son, Samuel (Linda) Castle; grandchildren, Ronald Castle, John (Melissa) Castle, Daniel (Rebecca) Castle, Richard Castle and Deborah (Brian) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Katie, James, Jacob, Nathan, Craig and Oliva Castle, and Amanda Stafinski; and great-great-grandchildren, Cheyene Stafinski and Elizabeth Castle. Lillie came from a large family of brothers, Oather (Carol) Queen and Bob (Kay) Queen; sisters, Juanita (Don) Adkins, Norma Hatfield, Betty (Audie) Ramey and Zola Fain; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Castle; sons, Richard and James; sisters, Maxine Sexton, Lottie Porter and Geneva Woodard; and brothers, Lee, Edgar and Henry Queen.
Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of state Route 18 and River Styx Road), Medina, with Dr. Walter Chisholm officiating.
Interment: Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
Visiting hours: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Corwin Riegger
Corwin "Budd" Riegger, 84, of Medina, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, in Medina.
He was born Sept. 28, 1922, in Medina and was a construction worker for Anton Kungli. He was a member of United Church of Christ Congrega-tional for more than 50 years. Mr. Riegger was a veteran of the Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty (nee Aylard) Riegger of Medina; cherished daughter, Cheryl Riegger-Krugh of Golden, Colo.; and many fur children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his treasured son, Rick Riegger, and son-in-law, Jerry Krugh.
Service: 4:30 p.m. today at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. Jeff Kehnle and the Rev. Sharon Knowles Kiesel will officiate.
Burial: Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina.
Visiting hours: 1 to 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mary A. Surrarrer
Mary A. Surrarrer, 105, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Litchfield Township, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, in Lakeland.
She was born Sept. 19, 1901, in Norwalk to William and Gertrude Curtis Suhr. She grew up and attended school there and in October 1923 she married George M. Surrarrer. They resided in Litchfield before moving to Florida in 1978. Mrs. Surrarrer worked for GTE in Medina, retiring in 1969. She was a former member of Chatham United Methodist Church and most recently a member of Gibson United Methodist Church in Lakeland.
She is survived by her daughters, Leona (Chester) Hiltbrunner of Lakeland and Mary (Frank) Booth of Litchfield; sons, Morris (Yvonne) Surrarrer of Lodi and William Surrarrer of Grafton; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1981; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Richard Beard; three grandchildren; five sisters; and two brothers.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. The Rev. Dr. Richard Eifert will officiate.
Burial: Mallet Creek Cemetery, York Township.
Visiting hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Myron A. Wolff, 77, passed away at home on Friday, Feb. 16, 2007.
Mr. Wolff retired from GM and also worked with Sunset Memorial Park and Dostal Funeral Services.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley (nee Roth); daughters, Charlene (Clifford) Nutter and Marcia (John) Adamczyk; special grandson, Eric Geyer; and other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Edna (nee Arnold), and brother, Warren Wolff.
Service: noon Tuesday at Columbia United Methodist Church, 25453 Royalton Road, Columbia Station.
Burial: Columbia Township Cemetery.
