Esther R. Wehrkamp-Wolfe
Former St. Henry resident Ester R. Wehrkamp-Wolfe, 82, of Homosassa, Fla., died at 4:10 p.m. April 28, 2001 at The Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born May 17, 1918, in Wendelin, to Rudolph and Frances (Koesters) Van Den Bosch. On June 27, 1936, she married Linus "Nip" Wehrkamp, who died July 17, 1984.
Survivors are three sons and their wives, Jim and Kathy of Minster, Ken and Becky of Troy, and Tom and Carol of St. Henry; a brother and his wife, Carl and Donna of Coldwater; a sister and her husband, Marie and Werner Tobe, St. Henry, a sister, Edna Gdula, Burkettsville; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Sue Wehrkamp, a brother, Earl, and a sister, Cleo.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Homosassa, Fla.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Henry Catholic Church, the Rev. Larry Wyen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Ann Marie Brewer
Ann Marie Brewer, 57, of Birmingham, Ala., died at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 23, 2002, at West Chester Healthcare Center in Butler County. She has relatives residing in Mercer and Auglaize counties.
She was born Feb. 27, 1944, in New Haven, Ind., to Lowell B. and Wilma M. "Weedie" (Makley) Brewer. Her mother and stepfather, Wilma and Robert Derr, survive in Newport Beach, Calif.
Surviving are four brothers and their wives, Bill and Mary Jo of Sydney, Australia, Nick and Anne of West Chester, Dave and Laura of Louisville, Ky., and Dan and Trixie of Centerville; a sister and her husband, Nancy and Ebb Harris, Delray Beach, Calif., and a sister, Bonnie of Birmingham, Ala.
She worked as a legal secretary with Ritchey & Ritchey Law Office before retiring in 1994. She received an associates degree from Ball State University, Muncie, Ind.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. April 13 at St. Vincent Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, Ind., the Rev. John Kusnick officiating. Burial will be at Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery.

Rebecca Bricker
Rebecca E. Bricker, 61, 1140 Parkway Drive, Greenville, died March 29, 2002, at her residence. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born June 4, 1940, in Ida, Ky., to Osco and Hazel (Cooper) Riddle. Her mother survives in Winchester, Ind. She married Carl Bricker, who has relatives in Mercer County, and he survives.
Other survivors include a son and his wife, Michael and Cheryl of Union City; four daughters and their husbands, Yvonne and Kelly Abbott, Piqua, Rebecca and Keith McDaniel and Candy and Marty Hall, all of Atlanta, Ga., and Pamela and Bruce Betler, Greenville; a stepson and his wife, Dave and Shirley Bricker, Martinsville, Ind., and a stepson, Steve Bricker, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Diana Bricker-Hall, Ansonia; two brothers, Leon and John Riddle, Winchester; three sisters, Delores Lee, Farmland, Ind., Shirley Masterson, Winchester, and Sue Stacey, Parker City, Ind.; 12 grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and attended Lighthouse Christian Center, Greenville.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oliver Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Greg Mason officiating. Burial will be at Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Alvin Jutte
Alvin B. Jutte, 78, 3615 Tangeman Road, Coldwater, died at 7:07 p.m. March 30, 2002, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born July 6, 1923, in St. Peter, to Frank W. and Rose E. (Siefring) Jutte. On Sept. 14, 1963, he married Ruth M. Barhorst and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Doug of Coldwater, and a daughter and her husband, Becky and Mike Dailey, Goshen, Ind.
He was a retired farmer and truck driver. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, and the Holy Name Society of the church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Louis Barga officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.

Donald Kuhn
Donald R. Kuhn, 69, 1107 Pennyroyal Lane, Celina, died at 6:10 p.m. March 30, 2002, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 25, 1932, in Celina, to Lee and Gladys (Ellerman) Kuhn. On June 14, 1958, he married Ruth Stevens and she survives.
Also surviving are a son and his wife, Ron and Jenny of Celina; a daughter and her husband, Deb and Mike Mihm, Celina; a brother, Dave of Celina; a sister, Shirley Cooperrider, Fairfax, Calif.; four grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
He retired as a sergeant with the Celina Police Department in 1981 after 25 years of service. He also drove bus for Celina City Schools for 30 years and was an instructor for Dean White's School of Driver Education in Celina for several years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, the Fraternal Order of Police and the Loyal Order of the Moose, all of Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will be at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Emma Montgomery
Emma Ruth "Johnny" Montgomery, 94, of Van Wert, formerly of Celina, died at 7:50 a.m. March 31, 2002, at Van Crest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born April 11, 1907, in Elida, to Abia and Ethel (Morgan) John. Her husband, Harold C. Montgomery, is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, M. Jane Basinger Diller, Boyne City, Mich.; a stepson, Richard Montgomery, Huron; eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Gail John; a sister, Dorothy Hefner; and a grandson.
She was a graduate of Elida High School and one of the last surviving members of the 1928 graduating class at Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. A retired registered nurse, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Elida, and the auxiliaries of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Larry Snyder officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lina.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Viola Pancake
Viola L. Pancake, 89, formerly of Convoy, died at 3:30 a.m. March 31, 2002, at Van Crest Health Care Center, Van Wert, following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 29, 1912, in Deerfield, Mich., to Christopher and Elizabeth (Roloff) Moll. On Dec. 9, 1945, she married Wilbur Pancake and he survives.
Also surviving are a son and his wife, Leon and Carolyn, Celina, and a son, Loren of Van Wert; a daughter and her husband, Lynette and Daniel Asher, Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Earl and Ray Moll, both of Holloway, Mich.; four grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
She formerly worked at O.E. Mott and Kewaunee Manufacturing, both of Adrian, Mich., and did domestic work and child care for 111/2 years. She also served as custodian at Trinity Lutheran Church in Convoy for 81/2 years. She was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church, Van Wert, Martha's Circle and Gleaner's Sunday School Class of the church, Convoy American Legion Auxiliary Unit 208 and Convoy Grange 2530. She had attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill., and was a former leader of the Junior Luther League, Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School teacher at the Convoy church.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy, the Rev. Raymond Feeck officiating. Burial will be at Convoy International Order of Oddfellows Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
