Helen Jean Link, 74, 229 Lincoln Dr., Celina, died at 12:05 a.m. April 13, 2003, at her residence.
She was born March 29, 1929, in St. Marys, to Charles and Dorothy McMamee Steen. On Nov. 21, 1970, she married Ralph Link who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Rajean (Ron) Hedrick, Celina; and two grandchildren.
A brother, Robert Steen, is deceased.
She retired from Huffy's and the Celina Insurance Group. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.

Edgar Sielschott
Edgar W. Sielschott, 86, 8168 U.S. 127, Celina, died April 13, 2003, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Oct. 18, 1916, in Liberty Township, to Walter and Sadie Myers Sielschott. On Feb. 11, 1941, he married Mary Louise Hawk who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Larry (Sandy) of Celina; a daughter, Gail (Alvin) Fennig, Decatur, Ind.; three sisters, Helen (Martin) Fahncke, Celina, Bernice (Max) Roebuck, Rockford, and Dorothy (Robert) Johnston, Van Wert; and three grandchildren.
A daughter, Jane Ellen, is deceased.
He was a farmer and one of the original players on the Wabash Valley Dart Ball League. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, and a 65-year member of the church choir.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will be at North Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina.

Naomi Spicer
Naomi L. Spicer, 80, 1014 Kensington Lane, Celina, died at 7:40 p.m. April 12, 2003, at The Gardens at Celina.
She was born Sept. 19, 1922, in Detroit, Mich., to Cecil and Ruby Minkley Mallory. On Aug. 12, 1942, she married Eugene Spicer who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Mike (Diana) of Celina and Doug (Lucy) of Van Wert; a daughter, Vicki (Dennis) Piper, Celina; two brothers, Dennis (Robin) Mallory, New Knoxville, and Jim (Thelma) Mallory, Celina; three sisters, Corinne Youngs, Diane Creeden and Sue (Bob) Eilerman, all of Celina; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She had worked as a bookkeeper at M.L. Spicer Meadow Gold Dairy. She was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Celina, the Order of Eastern Star and Ladies of the Elks.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will be at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Dorothy Steinke
Dorothy Jean Steinke, 76, Pear Street, St. Marys, died at 2:04 p.m. April 10, 2003, at her daughter's residence in Sidney.
She was born April 18, 1926, in St. Marys, to Robert and Helen Schumann Adams. Her stepparents, Helen (Harry) Collins and Robert (Mina Teeters) Adams are deceased. Her husband, John W. Steinke, also is deceased.
Surviving are a son, David (Ann) Steinke, St. Marys; four daughters, Sharon Cooper, Greeley, Colo., Susan Mescher, Sidney, Linda Engel, Denver, Colo., and Barbara (Dennis) Lhamon, St. Marys; a sister, Virginia Moyer, Sarasota, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A sister, Marian Lousha, is deceased.
She was a homemaker.
Private services were held at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, the Rev. Jeanette Rode officiated. Burial was at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to the ALS Association and Wilson Hospice Care.

Beatrice Rohrbach
Beatrice H. Rohrbach, 99, formerly of 320 Huffman St., St. Marys, died at 7:07 p.m. April 10, 2003, at Valley Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, St. Marys.
She was born Sept. 2, 1903, in Auglaize County, to John and Doretta Kuhlhorst Kilger. On April 16, 1930, she married Marion Rohrbach who died Sept. 6, 1979.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald (Janice) of St. Marys, and Gene (Barbara), of West Terre Haute, Ind.; two daughters, Lucille (Arthur) Rogers, St. Marys, and Wilma (Tom) Axe, Kansas City, Kan.; 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Harvey and Harry Kilger and two others who died in infancy; and four sisters, Bessie Thomas, Maude Hertenstein, Pearl Burkhart and Edna Kilger.
A homemaker, she had worked at the former Crane & McMahon Co. and Marsh Supermarket in St. Marys. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 323, both of St. Marys. She also was a member of the St. Marys Saddle Club, serving as treasurer for 30 years.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Joy Miller officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens near St. Marys.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the American Legion Auxiliary or the American Cancer Society.

William Vannett
William N. "Bill" Vannett, 57, 602 S. Wayne St., Van Wert, died at 11:44 p.m. April 10, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Jan. 24, 1946, in Celina, to William Franklin and Lorena Katherine Zumbrink Vannett. His mother survives in Coldwater. On April 13, 1969, he married Pamela Jean Thomas who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Brian Neal, of Rockford and Brad Alan, of Van Wert; two sisters, Sharon Thomas, Coldwater, and Jane (Ronnie) Norton, Celina; and two grandchildren.
A sister, Carla Depweg, is deceased.
He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1991 after more than 30 years and served in both the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. He was a Coldwater High School graduate.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Jim C. Burns officiating. Burial with military rites conducted by the U.S. Navy will be at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Werner Jutte
Werner S. Jutte, 80, 2800 Siegrist-Jutte Road, Fort Recovery, died at 9:17 p.m. April 10, 2003, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born Jan. 28, 1923, in Fort Recovery, to Samuel and Clara Guggenbiller Jutte. On Oct. 28, 1950, he married Esther Franzer who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dale (Diane) of Coldwater and Fred (Ruth) of Fort Recovery; three daughters, Elaine (Dean) Winner, North Star, Barbara (James) Wilker, New Bremen, and Marilyn Kahlig, Coldwater; a son-in-law, Ken (Kate) Bruggeman, Fort Recovery; two brothers, Orville (Betty) of St. Wendelin and Linus, Celina; a sister, Lorene Voskuhl, St. Henry; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Joyce Bruggeman; a son-in-law, Frank Kahlig; two brothers, Melvin and Jerome; and a sister, Leona Kunkler.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. A rosary service is set for 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

Margaret Lloyd
M. Margaret Lloyd, 84, formerly of Rockford, died at 4 a.m. today, April 11, 2003, at The Sunrise of Englewood nursing home.
She was born Oct. 4, 1918, in Van Wert County, to Floyd and Blanche Leona Kushmaul Crone. On Dec. 15, 1940, she married J. Richard Lloyd who died March 11, 1993.
Surviving are a son, Kevin (Leslie) of Darien, Conn.; a daughter, Jonelle (Phil) Roberts, Clayton; a sister, Marcelle Kenner, Hicksville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Rockford Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Karen Long officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the church.

Ralph Coenen
Ralph "R.J." Coenen, 71, of Hendersonville, N.C., died March 23, 2003, at Four Seasons Hospice of Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, N.C.
Surviving with his wife, the former Cecilia Harris, are a brother-in-law, Niles Harris, Deadwood, S.D.; and a sister-in-law, Lynne (Clint) Thompson, Celina.
He retired in 1983 as controller at Daniel Packaging, Hendersonville, N.C. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Services were March 29 in Hendersonville.
Contributions can be made to Four Seasons Hospice of Elizabeth House.
Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, handled local arrangements.

Dorothy Dietz
Dorothy L. Dietz, 72, 8 Eastmoor Drive, New Bremen, died at 6:35 p.m. April 8, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born June 27, 1930, in Islington, Newfoundland, Canada, to Steven and Annabelle Clark Welsh. On Aug. 1, 1953, she married Bernard Dietz who survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Rose Johnston, Courtnay, British Columbia, and a nephew.
Two sisters are deceased.
She retired from Crown Equipment Corp., New Bremen, in 1993 after 27 1/2 years of service. She was a member of Minster Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 1391, New Bremen American Legion Auxiliary Unit 241, the Crown Equipment 25-Year Club and the Crown Plant 1 Club.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Stephen Wills officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the New Bremen Emergency Squad.
