Elmer Linton
Elmer L. Linton, 83, 604 N. Mill St., Celina, died at 12:40 a.m. May 21, 2001 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born March 3, 1918, in Liberty Township, to Leo and Mary J. (Sharp) Linton. On March 15, 1941, he married Joy Chivington who survives.
Other survivors are a son and his wife, David and Linda of Celina; two daughters and their husbands, Diana and David L. Eyink, Celina, and Elizabeth and Gary Moorman, Tipp City; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Clifford, and four sisters, Velma, Wilma, Rhea and Margurite.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. James C. Wilson II officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.

Clemens Aselage
Clemens J. Aselage, 86, 209 Christie Ave., Anna, died at 3:05 a.m. May 22, 2001 at the Pavillion in Sidney.
He was born March 11, 1915, in Fort Loramie to William and Edith (Pleiman) Aselage. On August 17, 1939, he married Regina B. Hoying who survives.
Other survivors are six sons and their wives, William and Joan of Orange Park, Fla., Thomas and Janet of Tipp City, Jerome and Sharon of Wapakoneta, Clem Jr. and Sherry of Greenville, N.C., Dennis and Janet of Sidney, and John and Teresa of Anna; and a son, Leonard Joseph of Sidney; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandchild.
He was a retired farmer and employee of Copeland Corporation in Sidney. He was former clerk and board member at McCartyville School, and a member of Sacred Heart Church, McCartyville, and its Men's Society, Knights of Columbus, McCartyville, and the Farm Bureau.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Patrick Duffy officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkmp Funeral Home, Minster.

Carl Spicer
Carl L. Spicer, 83, of Mulberry Street, Spencerville, died at 6 a.m. May 22, 2001 at Roselawn Manor, Spencerville.
He was born Nov. 28, 1917, in Mendon to T. Hiram and Clara B. (Faurot) Spicer. On Sept. 30, 1945, he married Mary B. Crider who survives.
Other survivors are a son and his wife, Todd W. and Susan of St. Marys, and a son, Steven T. of Lima; a brother and his wife, Richard L. and Gloria of St. Marys; a sister, Donna I. Hooker, Lima; and two granddaughters.
Deceased are two brothers, Vincent and Donald.
He worked in sales with the Tuttle, Crouse Lumber Co., Lima, and an estimator at Lima Lumber Co. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served with the 100th Bomb Group in the European Theatre during World War II. He retired as a lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Air Force Reserve, and received the Air Medal with two oak leaf clusters. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Spencerville, the Bowersock Bros. Post #6772, Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.), and the Black Cat Club, all of Spencerville. He graduated from Mendon High School and Bowling Green State University.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Ron Hennen officiating. Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday at Wright Cemetery, Converse, where military services will be conducted by the Spencerville V.F.W.
Calling is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville.

Nancy Winchester
Nancy Farmer Winchester, 75, of Nashville, Tenn., died at 4:30 p.m. May 21, 2001 at Mt. Juliet Hospital, Tenn.
She was born June 6, 1925, in Sturgess, Ky., to Earl and Margaret Farmer. She married Edward Winchester, who died in 1978.
Survivors are three sons, Tom of Fort Recovery, Earl of New Jersey, and Ray of South Carolina; and two daughters, Clara Daniels, Maryland, and Lou Kaelin, Tennessee.
Deceased are two sisters, Jean Spencer and Margaret Farmer.
Services will be held at a later date.
Jack Miller
Jack E. Miller, 77, 792 Ridgewood Drive, died at 3:18 p.m. April 28, 2001 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center Campus in Zanesville.
He was born Jan. 11, 1924 in Mendon to Dwight and Joanna (Hays) Miller. On August 22, 1948, he married Barbara L. Blackburn who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Randy, Denver, a daughter, Elise, Coshocton, and a sister and her husband, Marilyn and Eugene Ruhlen, Mendon.
He was a registered pharmacist and owner of Miller Pharmacy in Coshocton, as well as a former teacher, baseball and basketball coach in Allen County. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army with the 100th Infantry Division, the 398th Infantry Regiment Anti-tank company during World War II where he received two bronze stars for his service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coshocton, of Shanes Masonic Lodge #377, Rockford, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry and a past member of the Coshocton Shrine and the Coshocton Rotary. He was also a member of the Ohio Pharmacist Association, the Florida Pharmacist Association and The American Pharmaceutical Association.
He attended the Ohio State University and graduated from the Raabe College of Pharmacy at the Ohio Northern University.
Services were held at Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge. Military graveside services were conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
Arrangements were handled by the Bundy-Law Funeral Home.
Edna Keifer
Edna M. Keifer, 78, 927 Hemlock St., Celina, died at 5:25 a.m. May 25, 2001 at her residence.
She was born May 5, 1923, in Mercer County to C. Edward and Gladys (Felver) Black. In 1947 she married Richard Keifer, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters and their husbands, Carolyn and Thomas Page, Oak Lawn, Ill., and Janice and Nicholas Belna, Rockford; and two granddaughters.
Deceased is a brother, Charles Black, and a sister, Anita Christian.
She was a retired LPN from the former Otis Hospital, Celina, and Colonial Nursing Home, Rockford, and a member of Celina Church of the Nazarene.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Larry Fox officiating. Burial will be at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-9 p.m. Sunday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina.

Lois Loughrige
Lois V. Loughrige, 85, 411 E. Main St., Coldwater, died at 9:20 a.m. May 24, 2001, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1915, in Charlevoix, Mich., to David and Cora (Cook) Howard. On May 1, 1936, she married William Ashley Loughrige, who died March 2, 1986.
Survivors are two sons and their wives, Robert and Pat of Lillian, Ala., and Boyd and Patti of Celina; two daughters and their husbands, Noreen and Tom Schwieterman, Coldwater, and Mikki and Joseph Ward, Segium, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, George Howard, Pine River, Minn.; and a sister, Cora Brown, Golden, Colo.
Deceased are a son, George, and two brothers, Charles and David Howard.
She was a retired owner/operator with her husband of The Shack Restaurant, Coldwater, and also had a news agency and Ash's Golf Center, both in Coldwater.
Services are 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating.
Calling is 2:30 till service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Lucile Moeller
Lucile M. Moeller, 86, 33 E. South St., New Bremen, died at 10:22 p.m., May 23, 2001 at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on March 30, 1915, to George and Fredonia (Hirschfeld) Fark. On Aug. 22, 1935, she married Carl F. Moeller, who died on May 22, 1982.
Survivors are two sons and their wives, Ned and Susan of Santa Ana, Calif., and Ronald and Diane of Peninsula; a daughter and her husband, Karen and Gary Farley, New Bremen; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Louis and Julia Fark, New Bremen; a sister and her husband, Leota and Roger Busse, New Bremen; and two sisters-in-law, Laverne Fark and Freda Moeller, both of New Bremen.
Deceased is a brother, Robert Fark.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ in New Bremen and the Lay, Life and Work of the church. She was a member of the New Bremen Senior Citizens and was a graduate of New Bremen High School.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Stephen Wills officiating. Burial will be in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is from 4-8 p.m., Friday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen and from 1 p.m. until the service on Saturday at the church.

Irene Moorman
Irene M. Moorman, 78, of rural Spencerville, died at 2:10 p.m. May 24, 2001 at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Southworth, Allen County, to Raymond W. and Ida M. (Moorman) Truesdale. On Dec. 24, 1941, she married Clyde Edward Moorman who survives.
Other survivors are a son and his wife, Karl E. and Lana of Spencerville; a daughter and her husband, Sharon K. and Dale Spees, Spencerville; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; two brothers, Kenneth O. and Robert J. Truesdale, both of Spencerville; two sisters and their husbands, J. Bernice and Stanley Place Jr., Creswell, N.C., and Patricia M. and Loren Place, Wapakoneta; and brother-in-law, Harry Blockberger, Spencerville.
Deceased is a brother, Garnerd E. Truesdale, and a sister, Virginia R. Blockberger.
She was a member of Hartford Christian Church, the Bowersock Brothers, Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) Post 6772 Auxiliary and the Harry J. Reynolds American Legion Post 191 Auxiliary, all of Spencerville, and a member of the Wapakoneta Eagles, Aerie #691 Auxiliary.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Robert King officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Calling is 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Rosella Huelskamp
Rosella M. Huelskamp, 84, 12340 Southland Road, Wapakoneta, died at 7:10 a.m. May 25, 2001 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 14, 1916 in Maria Stein to Bernard and Cecelia (Heitkamp) Vehorn. On Aug. 23, 1941 she married Victor J. Huelskamp in Maria Stein. He died in 1968.
Survivors are three sons and their wives, Jim and Rhonda of Anna, Dennis and Ann of Botkins, and David and Edie of Wapakoneta; four daughters and their husbands, Marge and Jerry Keifer, New Bremen, Kathy and Fred Sextro, Minster, Lois and Norman Howell, St. Marys, and Jane and Jon Uppenkamp, Wapakoneta; a daughter, Betty Huelskamp, Wapakoneta; a brother and his wife, Ralph and Nancy Vehorn, New Bremen; four sisters and their husbands, Alvira and Werner Stucke, Maria Stein, Irene and Mike Meiring, Minster, Dottie and Mort Meiring, Minster, and Esther and Elton Meiring, Minster; 34 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son Kenneth, three brothers and a sister.
She was a retired cook at Botkins Local Schools, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, the Ladies Auxiliary and Ladies Sodality of the Church, F.O.E. 1391 Minster Auxiliary, Minster, and Farm Bureau Council.
