Marian Huber
Marian Huber, 94, formerly of St. Sebastian, died at 5:25 p.m., July 18, 2003, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home in Coldwater.
She was born March 10, 1909, in St. Sebastian, to Daniel and Anna Severt Moeller. On May 27, 1930, she married Urban W. Huber, who died in 1973.
Survivors include four daughters, Phyllis (Denny) Stachler, Burkettsville, Velma (Paul) Billerman, Celina, Alice Thieman, Rockford, and Sister Cecilia Huber, St. Martin; three daugters-in-law, Marlene, McCartyville, Joan, St. Sebastian, and Norma, Celina.; a sister, Monica Franz, of Laura; a sister-in-law, Mary, of St. Henry; 26 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker, a member of the St. Sebastian Catholic Church, and a member of the chuch Ladies Rosary Altar Society.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. John Bensman officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is from 3-8 p.m. Monday and from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.

Gregor Post
Gregor N. Post, 82, 1100 Meyers road, Apt. 24, Celina, and formerly of Wendelin, died at 10:16 a.m. July 18, 2003, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born Feb. 11, 1921, in Wendelin, to John B. and Cordula Guggenbiller Post. On Oct. 9, 1943, he married Ester Bruggeman, who survives.
Also surviving are six sons, Ron (Sandy) and Paul (Diana), St. Henry, Linus (Carla), Coldwater, Lee (Donna), Celina, and Virgil (Ginny) and Greg (Colleen), Fort Recovery; eight daughters, Elaine (Melvin Jr.) Brunswick and Evelyn (Joe) Will, Fort Recovery, Teresa Ellrich, Virginia Beach, Va., Jean (Thomas) Yarletts, Worthington, Helen (Gary) Kremer, Chickasaw, Irene (Joe) Selhorst, North Star, Doris (Dan) Hartings and Lucy (Dane) Riesen, Celina; a son-in-law, Gerald Monnin, Versailles; three brothers, Ben (Joan), Alvin (Alice) and Eugene, all of St. Henry; two sisters, Alma (Orville) Ranly, Coldwater, and Mary (Jim) Faller, New Weston; 49 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four sisters, Rita Nerderman, Agnes Fullenkamp, Zita Drees and Rosie Vondrell; and two brothers, Zeno and Hugo.
He was a farmer and U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the St. Wendelin Catholic Church, the church Men's Society, and a Knight of St. John, Maria Stein.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow at the church Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted.
Calling is from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday, at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.

Florence Gray
Florence R. Gray, 73, 350 Greenback Road, Fort Loramie, died at 3:55 a.m. July 17, 2003, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
She was born Oct. 26, 1929, in Shelby County, to Joseph and Cecilia Wuebker Seger. On May 8, 1976, she married Robert W. Gray who survives.
Also surviving are a stepson, Robert (Linda) of Clay Springs, Ariz.; a stepdaughter, Kathy of Tucson, Ariz.; three brothers, Edward (Charlene) Seger and Carl (Mary) Seger, all of Fort Loramie, and Fred (Bertha) Seger, Yorkshire; a sister, Esther Seger, Fort Loramie; a brother-in-law, Richard Middendorf, Fort Loramie; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Seger, Minster, and Rita Seger, Fort Loramie; five stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Henry, Jerome and Urban Seger, and three sisters, Edna Frazier, Marie Niekamp and Erma Middendorf, are deceased.
She retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in April 1985 after 33 years of service. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, St. Anne Rosary & Altar Sodality and the marching unit of Knights of St. John Auxiliary #79, all of Fort Loramie, and the Yugoslavian Folk Dance Group, Dayton.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Contributions can be made to the American Parkinsons Disease Association.

Eileen Heiland
Eileen E. Heiland, 81, 8181 Ohio 274, Anna, died at 10:30 p.m. July 16, 2003, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney.
She was born July 17, 1921, in Kettlersville, to William and Nellie Greves Becker. On Feb. 4, 1939, she married Wilbur Heiland who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Patricia (Ned) Yoakum, Grove City, and Marilyn Forhan, Orinville, Calif.; a sister, Ruth Prueter, Siebring; and four granddaughters.
A daughter, Sally Jo, and three sisters, Ester Maurer, Orlainda Jung and Anna Topp, are deceased.
She retired from Stolle Corp., Sidney, in 1988 after 35 years and later worked four years at Wal-Mart in Sidney. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and the Women's Guild, both of Kettlersville, and a former member of the Shelby County Farm Bureau.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. James Melter officiating. Burial is at Pearl Cemetery near Swanders.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Shelby County Kidney Association.

Patricia Hirschfeld
Patricia S. Hirschfeld, 69, 7716 Weitz Road, Celina, died at 10:20 p.m. July 16, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Oct. 1, 1933, in Mercer County, to Lawrence and Emma Willrath Deitsch. A stepmother, Wilma Weitz Deitsch, survives in Celina. On May 12, 1956, she married Eugene L. Hirschfeld who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Rodney (Carla) of Celina and Tim (Missy) of Dublin; three daughters, Mary Jo (Joseph) Muhlenkamp and Alice (Mike) Siddall, all of Columbus, and Pam (Bret) Gilmore, Hilliard; a brother, Edward Deitsch, Celina; 11 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
She worked as a registered nurse at the former Gibbons Hospital, Celina Manor Nursing Home and Cheryl Ann School, all of Celina.
A 1951 graduate of Celina High School and a 1954 graduate of Lima Memorial School of Nursing, she and her husband served as ambassadors last year for the Lutheran Church in Tanzania, Africa. She continued to help with women's issues in Tanzania.
A lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church, Hopewell Township, she had held numerous church offices and served as president of the Northwest Ohio Synod of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. She also was a member of the Celina Altrurian Club.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Revs. Arvid A. Harklau and Eugene Hegemier officiating. Burial will follow at Buck Cemetery, Hopewell Township.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at W. H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Contributions can be made to Aya Seconday School in Dodoma, Tanzania, Africa.

Attilia Hoffman
Attilia Hoffman, 87, 110 Bennet St., Sidney, died at 11:15 a.m. July 16, 2003, in a traffic accident at the intersection of Ohio 274 and Ohio 29 in Shelby County.
She was born Jan. 4, 1916, in Allegheny County, Pa., to Vito and Aquilina DeRosa Petitti. On May 10, 1952, she married Ezra Hoffman of New Bremen who died Jan. 28, 1991.
Surviving are three brothers, Micheal Petitti, Highland Heights, Peter Petitti, Cleveland, and Angelo Petitti, Parma; two sisters, Rose Wellman, Toledo, and Cel Eidenmiller, Strongsville; three stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A brother and two sisters are deceased.
She was a homemaker.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Jerome McIntosh
Former Celina resident Jerome J. McIntosh, 62, of Marshallville, Ga., died July 7, 2003, in Marquette, Mich.
He was born May 29, 1941, in Detroit, Mich., to Josephine Lozon and later adopted by Raymond and Jean McIntosh of Celina.
Surviving with his wife, Sally, are three sons, Jeffrey McIntosh, Jarrod McIntosh and Matthew Kirsch; three daughters, Jodi Simpson, Leslie Kirsch and Tiffany Fallaw; a brother, Christopher McIntosh; two sisters, Pat Hupp and Sharon DeLamielleure; and six grandchildren.
He owned Grandeur Farms and raised, trained and raced harness horses. He previously was a history teacher and varsity football coach in Ohio and an entrepreneur in Florida.
He was a 1948 graduate of the former Immaculate Conception High School and a graduate of Wright State University, both in Celina. He also worked full time at Huffy's while attending college. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War.
A private prayer service was held following his death.

Karen Reed
Karen "Sue" Reed, 59, 129 N. Cherry St., St. Marys, died at 10:31 p.m. July 16, 2003, at Lima Memorial Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Nov. 12, 1943, in St. Marys, to George and Betty Jones Sullivan. In June 1963, she married F. Pearl Reed who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deb (Dave) Fisher, St. Marys; five brothers, Larry (Sue), Bob (Sue), Terry and Timothy Sullivan, all of St. Marys, and Louis Sullivan, Florida; two sisters, Judy (Ray) Slone, New Knoxville, and Lynn Dircksen, Celina; and three grandchildren.
She was employed at the former Huffy Manufacturing Co. plant, Celina, for 31 years. She was a 1961 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. James Nuhfer officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Margaret Krugh
Margaret A. Krugh, 83, 302 Middle St., Van Wert, died at 12:05 a.m. July 16, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born Oct. 3, 1919, in Van Wert County, to Lewis McKinley and Christena Linora Rauch Bolton. On Feb. 26, 1966, she married Brice T. Krugh who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Jim Kistler, town not listed; a daughter, Betty (Robert L.) Bolton, Venedocia; a sister, Ruth Bowsher, Spencerville; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Wayne Lewis, Edwin Richard and Paul Bolton, and a sister, Helen Virginia Bolton, are deceased.
She retired as a nurse at Van Wert County Hospital in 1985 and also had worked as a supervisor at a St. Marys nursing home. A graduate of York High School, she completed nurse's training in Chillicothe and New York City. She was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church, Van Wert.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Raymond E. Feeck officiating. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to Van Wert Emergency Medical Services, Gideons International or Channel 44 TV.

Doris Miller
Memorial service for Doris Caryle Miller, 67, 2689 Bunker Hill Road, Celina, is 11 a.m. Saturday at The Lord's Church, Celina, the Rev. Randy Christian officiating.
She died at 3:40 p.m. July 5, 2003, at St. Rita's Hospital, Lima.
Calling is after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church
Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, has charge of arrangements.

Robert Reigelsperger
New Weston native Robert P. Reigelsperger, 77, of Spring Valley, died July 16, 2003, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 25, 1925, in New Weston, to Charles and Helen Roseboom Reigelsperger. His wife, Adeline E., died Nov. 18, 2002.
Surviving are three sons, Gary (Joyce) of Bellbrook, Terry (Kathy) of California, and Chuck (Cathy) of Spring Valley; three daughters, Deb Stiles, Spring Valley, Cathy (David) Maynard, Camden, and Amy (Joe) Grasso, Missouri; a sister, Alma Raines, Vandalia; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He formerly owned Dayton Corrugated Packaging Co. and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Centerville.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Tom Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Friday at Tobias-Conner & Koch Funeral Home, Bellbrook, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
