Louetta Katterhenry
Louetta "Boots" Katterhenry, 86, 14030 Kohler Road, Wapakoneta, formerly of Saint James City, Fla., died at 7:50 a.m. July 8, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Sept. 16, 1916, in Auglaize County, to Grover and Henrietta Rohrbacher Lynch. On March 7, 1939, she married Paul Katterhenry who died Feb. 3, 1986.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann (Ed) Shroyer, Wapakoneta; a son-in-law, Sam Swartz, St. Marys; three sisters, Winona Mees and Marian Kentner, both of Moulton, and Berdella Kentner, Wapakoneta; three grandchildren, a great-grandson and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Kathryn Swartz; three brothers, Emil, Raymond and Theodore Lynch; and a sister, Catherine Lynch.
She had worked as office manager at Resthaven Memory Gardens near St. Marys. She was a 1934 graduate of Blume High School, Wapakoneta, and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys. She also attended the Saint James Baptist Church in Florida.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Patricia Minnick officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Suzanne Kittle
Suzanne Flack Moyer Kittle, 46, of Leonidas, Mich., died June 29, 2003, at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born Feb. 7, 1957, in St. Joseph County, Mich., to Berwyn Flack and Marion Himebach Flack Moyer. The mother survives in Three Rivers, Mich. Also surviving are her first husband, Terry Moyer, and her second husband, Mercer County resident Julius Kittle, whom she married in 1997.
Other survivors include two sons, Clinton and Corey Moyer, both of Leonidas; a brother, Jerry Flack, Denver, Colo.; and a sister, Linda Seelye, Marcellus, Mich.
She was the co-owner of T-M Asphalt Sealing for several years and the owner of Country Basket in Leonidas. She also was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Leonidas and Vicksburg, Mich., the past nine years. A 1975 graduate of Mendon High School in Mendon, Mich., and a graduate of Kellogg Community College, she had been a chorus member and soloist at the Mendon Kiwanis Showboat.
Services were held July 3 at Bethel Apostolic Church in Vicksburg, the Rev. Robert Krauss officiated. Burial was at Prairie Cemetery near Centerville, Mich.
Mary Sturwold
Mary B. Sturwold, 99, formerly of Newport, died at 3 a.m. July 8, 2003, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
She was born Jan. 6, 1904, in St. Rose, to Henry and Anna Fullenkamp Dwenger. On June 22, 1926, she married John H. Sturwold who died Aug. 25, 1977.
Surviving are five sons, Clarence of Vandalia, Ralph (Mary Ann) and Gilbert, both of Fort Loramie, Wilbur (Mary Jane) of Russia and John (Marlene) of Minster; two daughters, Norma (Warnie) Alexander, Piqua, and Irma (Charles) Wendeln, Maria Stein; a brother, Joseph (Delores) Dwenger, Celina; 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Marilyn Gaerke; a son-in-law, Virgil Gaerke; a daughter-in-law, Helen Sturwold; a brother, four sisters and three grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at the church.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

Marjorie Baer
Marjorie H. Baer, 89, 609 N. Cherry St., Celina, died at 1:25 p.m. July 6, 2003, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1913, in Neptune, to Shirley and Ruth Dutton Wollam. On March 1, 1941, she married Dale Owen Baer, who died in 1990.
Surviving are a son, Michael A. (Carol) of Troy; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Heindel, North Carolina; a brother, Harold E. Wollam, Celina; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, Dr. Eric Warren, and a sister, Lyndol Orrison.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina. She was a charter member of Iota Gamma Chapter of Phi Beta Psi sorority in 1937, serving as president and holding other offices over the years.
Services are 7 p.m. Thursday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kathleen Hayes officiating.

Mildred Hamilton
Mildred E. Hamilton, 87, 1010 Meadowview Drive, Celina, died at 5:38 p.m. July 6, 2003, at her residence.
She was born March 20, 1916, in Mercer County, to Charles and Flora Buck Andrew. On June 1, 1939, she married Dale P. Hamilton who is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara J. King, Elkhart, Ind.; a sister, Vadie Bollenbacher, Rockford; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A brother, Glenn Andrew, and a sister, Vestie Martz, are deceased.
She had worked for Celina City Schools for 20 years and was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will be at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.

Calvin Stephenson
Calvin L. Stephenson, 96, died at 6:15 a.m. July 6, 2003, at Miller House, 1506 Meadowview Dr., Celina.
He was born Sept. 13, 1906, in Celina, to George and Lutitia Byrly Stephenson. On July 21, 1934, he married the former Cecil Dudgeon, who is deceased.
Surviving is a brother, Harold E. Stephenson, Celina.
Four brothers are deceased: Theodore, Robert, Donald and an infant brother, John. Seven sisters are deceased: Marie Behm, Neddie Weir, Orlie Sutton, Dora Crouch, Edith Hines and two infant sisters, Stella and Mary.
He was retired from Frigidaire in Dayton after 30 years.
He was a member of the Celina First Church of God where he was a Sunday school teacher. He also taught Sunday school at the Brethren Church in Dayton for 50 years.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Celina First Church of God, the Revs. Bruce Strine, Richard Van Horn and Forest Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Buck Cemetery.

Carl Billenstein
Carl G. Billenstein, 87, formerly of 14199 Johnson Road, New Weston, died at 6:30 a.m. July 5, 2003, at a daughter's home.
He was born Sept. 27, 1915, in Darke County, to Frederick and Anna Marie Stephan Billenstein. On March 30, 1940, he married Esther Schutz who is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, Eugene (Sharon) of Ansonia and Jerry (Diane) of Rossburg; four daughters, Grace (Bill) Stacy, Dayton, Joann (Ronald) Coates, Troy, Betty (Bill) McKibben, Covington, and Alice (Tom) Replogle, Tipp City; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, William, John and Paul, and six sisters, Freida, Ruth and Anna, Esther Rarick, Wilhemina Wentworth and Anita Godown.
He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Star.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Laura Shreffler officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Donald Grimes
Former Celina Mayor Donald H. Grimes, 71, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died July 6, 2003, at Regency Place in Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 17, 1931, in New Knoxville, to Fred and Araminta Grimes.
Surviving with his wife, Martha, are two sons, Steven (Kay) of Celina and Michael of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Kathy (Robert Chris) Porch, Fay-etteville, Ga., and Kristina of Columbus; a half brother, Dale Grimes, New Knoxville; and five grandchildren.
A half sister, Evelyn Meyer, is deceased.
He retired in 1981 as vice president of office services at Celina Financial after 27 years. He also was vice president of service operations at Advanced Products Service Inc. for 12 years.
He served as Celina mayor from 1975-1979 and was a former Celina City councilor and council president. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War era, he was a member of Celina Masonic Lodge 241, the Mercer County Republican Party and Resurrection Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Graveside rites are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mercer Memory Gardens with the U.S. Army conducting military rites. A memorial service will take a 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Fort Wayne church.
Calling is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne.

Daniel Goodman
Daniel Keith Goodman, 43, of Lima, died at 11:18 p.m. July 4, 2003, at his residence. The cause of death was not available.
He was born Oct. 9, 1959, in Lima, to Donald and Cathryn Sandy Goodman. On June 17, 1995, he married former Mercer Countian Brenda Roessner who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Miranda, Kelsey and Cathryn, all at home; three brothers, Donald (Sally), David and Jesse (Stephanie), all of Lima; and three sisters, Judy (Pete) Welch, Bluffton, Julia (Brian) Castle, McGuffey, and Lelia (Buddy) Davis, Lima.
He was preceeded in death by his parents.
He was employed by Brick Mason Local 35 and also had worked at Tuttle Construction.
He was a member of Firm Foundation Christian Center and Bricklayers Allied Craftsman Local 35.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman West Wayne Street Chapel, Lima, the Revs. Ed Tobin, Scott Dove and Doneta Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Cairo West Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Lucille Hays
Lucille E. Hays, 85, 818 Kingswood Drive, Celina, died at 3 p.m. July 5, 2003, at Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born April 2, 1918, in Marissa, Ill., to Gus and Ema Triefenback. On Jan. 4, 1939, she married Gene Harold Hays who survives.
Also surviving are a brother-in-law, Ralph (Beulah) Hays, Ada; two sisters-in-law, Dortha Baer and Jean Hays, both of Celina; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Norman, is deceased.
She retired from communications work with General Motors. She was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church and the Altrurian Club, both of Celina.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Katie Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery,
