Cynthia Brockman
Cynthia A. Brockman, 43, 120 Blake St., Celina, died Jan. 24, 2002 at Lima Memorial Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Jan. 10, 1959, to Carol (Huber) Longworth who survives in Van Wert. On April 11, 1975, she married Daniel Brockman and he survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Danny and Michael of Celina and Chris and Tony of Coldwater; a daughter, Janice of Celina; four brothers, Jeff and Mark Ganger, Van Wert, and Bruce and Danny Ganger, Celina; and five grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Nancy Williams.
She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Erma Guggenbiller
Erma A. Guggenbiller, 82, Broadway Mobile Home Court, Fort Recovery, died Jan. 24, 2002 at Miller House, Celina.
She was born May 17, 1919, in Sharpsburg, to Edward and Matilda (Robbins) Harlett. In 1938, she married Julius Sutter and he died in 1970. In 1977, she married Leo Guggenbiller and he died in 1989.
Surviving are a son and his wife, John and Sharon Sutter, and two sons, George and Fred Sutter, all of Fort Recovery; two daughters and their husbands, Dorothy and Bill Lininger, St. Marys, and Mary Ann and Al Saam, Cridersville, and a daughter, Dianne Gaerke, Troy; a brother and his wife, Walter and Pat Harlett, St. Henry; 26 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Clarence Harlett, and a sister, Mary Arner.
She retired from Huffy Corp., Celina, and was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Altar Sodality, both of Fort Recovery.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Paul Wohlwend officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
Robert Rismiller
Robert P. Rismiller, 79, 8928 Ohio 121, Bradford, died Jan. 24, 2002 at the home of a daughter in Union.
He was born June 2, 1922, in Darke County, to Lewis and Emma M. (Rose) Rismiller. His wife, the former Mary Howell, died in October 2001.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Robert Meehan, Clearwater, Fla., and Becky and Christopher Fisher, Akron, and two daughters, Julia of Union and Judy of Cincinnati; a brother, Donald of Versailles; a sister, Louemma Horine, Greenville; and four granddaughters.
Deceased are seven brothers, Marion, Marvin, Harold, Richard, Norbert, Lester and Lawrence.
He was a retired farmer and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Versailles.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Oliver Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Laura Shreffler officiating. Burial will be at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is after noon Saturday at the funeral home.
William Stephenson
Former Celina resident William T. "Ted" Stephenson, 101, Traverse City, Mich., died Jan. 23, 2002 at Bortz Health Care in Traverse City.
He was born Jan. 5, 1901, in Celina, to George S. and Luticia (Barley) Stephenson. In September 1923, he married Valda L. Kuhn and she died in 1967. On Aug. 28, 1969, he married Marian Zue and she died in 1992.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Dorothy and Ralph Parker, Cedar, Mich., and Joyce and LeRoy Weiselberg, Traverse City; a stepdaughter, Marlene Ralston, Traverse City; two brothers, Calvin and Harold, both of Celina; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Deceased are a daughter, Betty L. Hulbert; four brothers and seven sisters.
He was formerly employed by The Parsons Corp. and was involved in general farming. He retired in 1965 as custodian at Traverse Heights Elementary School. He was a member of Bayview Wesleyan Church, Traverse City, and the Michigan Schools Retirement System.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Jack Steenbergh officiating. Burial will be at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. today at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, Traverse City.

Arthur Urwin
Arthur H. Urwin, 78, 716 W. Butler St., Coldwater, died at 10:06 a.m. Jan. 25, 2002 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima of natural causes.
He was born May 12, 1923, in Beechy, Saskatchewan, Canada, to George and Sarah Jane (Richardson) Urwin. On April 21, 1951, he married Helen Rasmussen, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are two sons and their wives, Anthony and Susan and Timothy and Rosalind Manifold-Urwin, both of Cincinnati; two daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Roberto Camara, of San Antonio, Texas, and Ann and Rich Dieter, of Pittsburgh, Pa; a daughter, Sally, of Chicago; a brother, William Urwin, of Canada; a sister Irene Grice, also of Canada; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased are sister Margaret Hunter and brother Anthony.
He worked as a design engineer of farm equipment and retired from New Idea in Coldwater in 1991. He was a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church. He served in the Canadian Military Forces, was a Red Cross volunteer and a member of the Coldwater Lions Club.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Coldwater United Methodist Church, with the rev. James R. Sager officiating. Burial will follow at the Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 1 to 1:45 p.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Bonnie Mock
Bonnie F. Mock, 88, 210 W. Pearl St., Rockford, died at 1:15 a.m. Jan. 25, 2002, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
She was born April 27, 1913, in Franklin, Ky, to John and Lelia (Bass) Finn
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Heath; a son, Gary Hull, both of Rockford; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
Deceased are husbands Hubert Hull and Albert; daughter Betty Eblen; and a granddaughter.
Earlier in life, she worked at General Electric in Bucyrus, then she worked for Pennsylvania Railroad and retired from The Daily Standard after 25 years.
Services start at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Lehman Funeral Home in Celina, with the Rev. Michael Berne officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Ronald Smith
Ronald D. Smith, 59, St. Marys, died at 11:47 p.m., Jan. 24, 2002, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Coldwater, to Wilfred and Lois (Pfoff) Smith. In October 1992 he married Betty Benson, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are four daughters, Tammy Wicker of Ohio City, Pam Slife of St. Marys, Tonya of New Haven, Ind, and Tracey of Celina; a daughter and her husband, Betty and Cliff Woody of Ohio City; three sons, Tony and Brian Russell of St. Marys and Ronald Smith II of St. Marys; two brothers and their wives, Billy and Karen of Naples, Fla. and Roger and Merilyn of St. Marys; a brother, Daniel of Celina, 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 31 nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his parents and two sisters, Sondra Barrett and Sharon Taylor.
He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and a members of the first Wesleyan Church in St. Marys. He served during the Vietnam War in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Vietnam Veteran's Association of Celina.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, with the Rev. Bonnie Sanders officiating. Members of the Vietnam Veteran's Association will conduct a military service.
