Margaret Donovan
Margaret Mae Donovan, 82, 819 Wilkins St., Celina, died at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 3, 2000 at Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born Aug. 9, 1918, in Missawkee County, Mich., to Otto R. and Edith (Swain) Murphy. On Nov. 18, 1936, she married Albert Eugene Donovan, who died Oct. 7, 1978.
Survivors are a son and his wife, Dennis Michael and Dianne of Port Orchard, Wash., and a son, Timothy Filmore of Tavares, Fla.; a daughter, Kathy Suzanne of Celina; a sister and her husband, Lois and Jim Aaron, Fairborn, and a sister, Mary Fitzgibbon, Bradenton, Fla.; a brother and his wife, Jack and Betty Murphy, Celina; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter, Janet.
She was retired from JCPenney Company and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina. She was a 1936 graduate of Celina High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Leroy Dorsten
St. Marys resident Leroy J. Dorsten, 74, died at 11:15 p.m. Dec. 5, 2000 at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home, Wapakoneta.
He was born March 5, 1926, in St. Marys, to Mathias and Ida (Stukenborg) Dorsten.
Survivors are a son and his wife, Joseph and Treda of Spencerville; a brother and his wife, William and Janice of St. Marys; two sisters and their husbands, Virgilene and Larry Rich, Fort Wayne, Ind., and LaVera and James Dingledine, Celina, and a sister, Mildred Holtman, Celina.
Deceased are a sister, Mary Evelyn, and four brothers, Paul, Anthony, Lavern and Lester.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served as a TEC-5 in Germany. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Glynwood, and was a 1944 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Oscar Seger officiating. Burial is at St. Thomas Cemetery, Glynwood.

Richard Garrity
Richard T. Garrity, 74, 811 E. Kremer-Hoying Road, St. Henry, died Dec. 6, 2000 at Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born March 10, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pa., to John and Mabel (Guma) Garrity. On May 1, 1948, he married Antoinette Roessner.
Other survivors are three sons and their wives, Rick and Deb of Calif., Craig and Gail of Celina, and Terrence and Joyce of Coldwater; a son, Kevin of St. Henry; a daughter, Deborah of St. Henry; a daughter-in-law Kathy of Celina; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Christopher, and a brother, John.
He retired from Mersman Corp., Celina, and had worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the National Rifle Association and American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Celina. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Cletus Wurster
Cletus E. Wurster, 82, 8065 Ohio 197, Celina, died at 8:52 a.m. Dec. 6, 2000 at Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born May 30, 1918 in Celina, to Melvin and Jennie (Tabler) Wurster. On March 3, 1945, he married Florence Eichenauer, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Shirley of Celina, and Sharon Rhoades, Versailles; a sister and her husband, Opal and Darrell Nevergall, Celina; and three grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer and worked at Huffy Bicycles, Celina. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina, and a 1936 graduate of Celina High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. James C. Wilson II officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.

Benjamin Gehle
Benjamin Louis Bernard Gehle, 18, of Wauseon, died Dec. 6 at Medical College Hospital in Toledo, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Dec. 5, 2000.
He was born Dec. 16, 1981, in Sidney, to Lloyd and Denise (Davidson) Gehle, both whom survive.
Other survivors include a sister, Gretchen of Wauseon; grandparents, Gertrude of Piqua, and Daniel and Dorothy Davidson, Sidney; and a great-grandmother, Blanche Grillot, Celina.
Deceased is a grandfather, Louis Gehle.
He was a senior at Wauseon High School and was employed at Carter Lumber in Defiance. He was a member of St. Caspar Catholic Church, Wauseon, and the high school's Decca Club.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Robert Holden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.

Timothy Stoker
Timothy L. Stoker, 46, was found dead at his residence at 323 S. Beech St., St. Marys, Dec. 6, 2000. The cause of death is unknown pending an autopsy by the Lucas County Regional Crime Laboratory.
He was born Aug. 31, 1954, in St. Marys, to Leon and Carol (Gerlich) Stoker who are both deceased. He was married and later divorced from Tammy Muncher, who survives in St. Marys.
Other survivors are a son, Corey of Jacksonville, N.C.; a brother and his wife, Brent and Pat, and two brothers, Tom and Mark, all of St. Marys; a sister and her husband, Kathy and Danny Mullins, and a sister, Sue Moyar, all of St. Marys.
He was employed in the general services department of the city of St. Marys. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 767, St. Marys, and a former member of Ohio National Guard. He was a 1973 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Keith Stuck officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.

Linda Yocum
Linda Louise Yocum, 61, 600 Bruns Ave., Celina, died of natural causes at 8:15 a.m. Dec. 7, 2000 at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Aug. 30, 1939, in Fremont, to Russell and Betty (Decker) Robinson. Her mother survives. She was married and later divorced from Paul Smelser, who survives. On Nov. 20, 1982, she married Seth Yocum, who survives in Celina.
Other survivors are two daughters and their husbands, Kathy and Andy Kruse, St. Marys, and Gaye and Glenn Mills, Celina, and two daughters, Holly Smelser, Celina, and Paulette Smelser, Delphos; a son and his wife, Chris and Courtney Smelser, Celina; two brothers and their wives, Douglas and Elvira Robinson of Florida, and Richard and Linda Robinson, Clyde; nine grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.
She was retired from Reynolds and Reynolds Co., Celina, and was a member of Celina Church of the Nazarene.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Larry Hamilton officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.

Mary Bechdolt
Mary E. Bechdolt, 95, 313 Glynnwood Road, Wapakoneta, died at 6:05 a.m. Dec. 8, 2000 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. She had been a resident of Auglaize Acres since 1992.
She was born Feb. 3, 1905, in Ohio City, to Harvey and Sarah (Ludy) Weaver. On March 20, 1926, she married Ralph E. Bechdolt, who died Feb. 26, 1973.
Survivors are two nieces and a nephew.
Deceased are two brothers, Harold and Loyd Weaver; and a sister, Eva Weaver.
She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta, and Wapakoneta Women's Club. She attended Gettysburg High School.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Long & Folk Funeral Home in Wapakoneta, the Rev. G. Richard Bell officiating. Burial is at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.

Joe Book
Joe G. Book, 60, 17543 Van Wert-Mercer County Line Road, Venedocia, died Dec. 7, 2000 following heart surgery at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
He was born July 5, 1940, in Van Wert County to Carl and Fern (Dietrick) Book, who both are deceased. He married Rona Yarger, who survives.
Other survivors are daughter, Karen, Sarasota, Fla.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Theresa, Jacksonville, Fla.
He worked at Teleflex in Van Wert and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Spencerville Veterans of Foreign War post.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home in Mendon, the Rev. Paul Bunnell officiating. Burial is at Tomlinson Cemetery in Rockford.

Edna Osting
Edna M. Osting, 81, of Delphos, died at 12:15 p.m. Dec. 8, 2000 at her home.
She was born Dec. 31, 1918, in Bryant, Ind., to Anthony and Edith (Bonifas) Minnich. She married Eugene O. Osting, who survives at home.
Other survivors are three daughters and their husbands, Susan and Larry Schwinnen, Delphos; Patricia and Michael Manore, Fort Waune, Ind.; and Jane and Jack Westrich, Delphos; a son and his wife, Charles and Beth Osting, Troy, Mich.; a sister, Marie Minnich, Coldwater; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Deceased are two brothers, Virgil and Olen Minnich; and a sister, Agnes Bricher.
She was a homemaker and a former volunteer at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. She graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School and was a member of the Delphos Veterans of Foreign Wars post auxiliary. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Delphos.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Dan Borgelt officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
