David Wenning
David Ray Wenning, 45, of Mesa, Ariz., died Dec. 9, 2000 following complications of pancreatic cancer.
He was born July 20, 1955, in Coldwater, to Ralph A. and Mary Ann Wenning. His mother survives in Ohio. His wife, Regina, survives.
Other survivors include a son, Scott of Tempe, Ariz.; four brothers, Richard of Maria Stein, Nicholas of New Bremen, Daniel of Minster, and Samuel of Dallas, Texas; and three sisters, Nancy Burkhart, St. Marys, Debbie Shrock, Coldwater, and Donna Bergman, Minster.
Deceased is his father.
He was employed in the parts department at Naumann Hobbs.
Services are today at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, Tempe, Ariz.

Mary Jo Weitz
Mary Jo Weitz, 60, of Celina, died of cancer at 10 a.m. Dec. 12, 2000 at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born July 7, 1940, in New Vienna, to Homer K. and Josephine Williams. Her mother survives. She was married to Dr. Lowell E. Weitz, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters and their husbands, Elizabeth and Michael E. Eickholt, Van Wert, and Christina and Dustin Yorksie, Lima; and two grandchildren.
She was a music teacher and organist for many churches. She held a master's degree.
A private memorial service will be held Saturday.
There will be no visitation.

Carol DeCamp
Carol C. DeCamp, 81, of Spencerville, died at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 14, 2000 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born Sept. 5, 1919, in Hartford City, Ind., to James F. and Celia Smith. On June 6, 1936, she married Rev. John E. DeCamp, who survives.
Other survivors are a son and his wife, Jim and Sandy of Spencerville; a daughter and her husband, Joan and Bill Paris, Monroeville, Ind.; a daughter-in-law, Jean of Upland, Ind.; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, John E. Jr., a brother, Kenneth Smith, four sisters, Gwenn Martindale, Isabelle Lewis, Hillis Funk and Doris Smith, and a grandchild.
She assisted in her husband's ministry in the Church of the Nazarene, volunteered at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home in Spencerville, was formerly employed at Yoder Equipment co., New Hampshire, and as a secretary at George T. Kocker Lumber co., Lima. She was a member of Spencerville Church of the Nazarene.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Revs. K. Darrell Spencer and Lowell Miller, and District Superintendent of Northwestern Ohio Churches of the Nazarene, Rev. Larry R. Fairbanks officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Spencerville Cemetery.
Calling is 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Jane Koenig
Jane E. Koenig, 55, 3679 Clover Four Road, New Bremen, died at 6:54 a.m. Dec. 14, 2000 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, following a sudden illness.
She was born Feb. 14, 1945, in Sidney, to George Sr. and Freda May (Earl) Voress. Her mother survives in New Bremen. On Sept. 4, 1965, she married Roger E. Koenig, who survives near New Bremen.
Other survivors are a son and his wife, Mark and Angie of New Bremen; a daughter and her husband, Kendra and Mike Sindelar, Franklin, Ind., and a daughter, Mary Ann Lee, Spencerville; a sister, Judith Voress, Austin, Texas; two brothers and their wives, George Jr. and Karen Voress, and John and Ginny Voress, all of New Bremen; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased is her father.
She was a teacher at St. Marys and New Knoxville school systems, and was currently teaching the learning disabled classes at New Bremen Junior and Senior High Schools. She was a graduate of New Bremen High School, received a bachelors degree in education from Ohio Northern University, and a masters degree in education from Wright State University.
Services are 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Gilberg Funeral Home, New Bremen.
Contributions can be made to a scholarship fund to be established at the New Bremen High School or to New Bremen Emergency Squad.
Herman Olwine
Herman L. Olwine, 81, 309 George St., Fort Recovery, died at noon Dec. 14, 2000 in Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Sept. 30, 1919, at Rossburg, to Arthur and Bessie (Marker) Olwine. On Nov. 8, 1941, he married Adele Subler, who survives.
Other survivors are a son and his wife, Gary and Marie of Fort Recovery; a daughter, Helen Schlarman, Fort Recovery; a brother, Arthur of Greenville; a sister and her husband, Ruth and Gene Hoggatt; two sisters, Waveline Woodall and Roberta Seals, all of Greenville; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son-in-law, Gerald Schlarman, a brother, Robert, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
He was retired from Fram Corporation, Greenville, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II in the 7th Armored Division in Europe. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and American Legion Post 345, both of Fort Recovery.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Paul Wohlwend officiating. A pray service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Brockman and Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. Burial with military graveside services is at St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Albina Voskuhl
Albina C. Voskuhl, 94, 1267 Voskuhl Road, Maria Stein, died at 8 a.m. Dec. 14, 2000 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 16, 1905, in Maria Stein, to Henry and Josephine (Kuether) Voskuhl.
Survivors include three sisters, Anna Goldbach, Monaca, Pa., Zita Spirk and Amelia Winters, both of Kettering.
Deceased are three sisters, Francis Garman, Emma Heitkamp and Cecelia May, and two brothers, Cletus and Leo.
She was a homemaker and caregiver and was a member of St. John Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Emil Labbe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

Alfrieda Broerman
Alfrieda E. Broerman, 85, died at 2 a.m. Dec. 15, 2000 at Otterbein, St. Marys where she has resided for the past nine years.
The former Minster resident and native was born on Feb. 25, 1915 to Joseph and Mary (Horstman) Ripploh. On Nov. 20, 1941, she married Richard Baumer who died Jan. 18, 1965. On April 21, 1976, she married Henry Broerman who died March 4, 1991.
Survivors are a stepson and his wife Richard and Mary Kay of Wisconsin Dells, Wisc.; a stepdaughter and her husband, Patricia and Don Meyer, Tipp City; six stepgrandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the St. Monica Ladies Sadality and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1391 Auxiliary, Minster.
She was a owner of Ripploh's Market in Minster.
Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. William Hoyng officiating. Burial will be in the St. Augustine cemetary.

Melvin Feathers
Melvin "Paul" Feathers, 70, of St. Marys and formerly of Des Moines, Iowa, died at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 15, 2000 at his home following a short illness.
He was born July 14, 1930, in Clarksburg, W.V. to James and Lucinda (Alton) Feathers. On Feb. 9, 1952, he married Susan Ann Hayden who died March 5.
Other survivors are three sons, Paul of Des Moines, James of Oronogo, Mo., and Steven of Des Moines; two daughters, Melody of Houston, Texas, and Sarah Hernandez of Lakeland, Fla; two sisters, Betty Martin of Akron and Gloria Six of Barberton. He also is survived by eight grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are his parents, wife, sister Ruby Hoffman and brother Tommy.
He was retired from Apex Bag Co., Wapakoneta, where he worked for 18 years.
Private family funeral services will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, is handling arrangements.
Virginia Heidegger
Virginia E. Heidegger, 81, 6324 East St. Rd. 26, Portland, Ind. died Dec. 14, 2000 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born July 28, 1919, in Jay County, Ind. to Harry and Lula (Rupe) Funk. On Feb. 20, 1949, she married David H. Heidegger, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters and their husbands, Anita J. and Leslie Keller, Albion, Ind., and Karen E. and Joseph Yaegel, Alexandria, Ky.; two daughters, Christene A., of Fort Wayne, and Marcia E., of Portland; and two brothers and their wives, Carl L. and Mary Funk, Portland, and Everett E. and Barbara Funk, New Haven, Ind.
She and her husband farmed for 51 years, and she was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Salamonia, Ind.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday in the Portland Chapel of Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, Portland, the Rev. Tamara Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Reitenour Cemetery, Ridgeville, Ind.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Opal Mullins
Opal May Mullins, 77, 316 E. Anthony St., Celina, died at 10:20 a.m. Dec. 15, 2000, at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, following a short illness.
She was born April 15, 1923 in McVeigh, Ky. to Rush and Susan (Cochran) Williamson. On Sept. 23, 1939, she married Paris Mullins who died Jan. 13, 1997.
Surviving are five sons and their wives, Bill and Gladys and Danny and Kathy, all of St. Marys, Charles and Garnet of Deltona, Fla., and Randy and Francis and Sonny and Liz, all of Celina; four daughters and their spouses, Mary and Gary Oakman and Sherry and Scott Feister, all of Celina, Sharon and Mack Blankenship, Florence, Mont., and Angeline and Tom Wicker, St. Marys; two daughters, Geri Watt and Rhonda Caudill, both of Celina; four brothers, Kenneth and Jeff Williamson, both of Brownstown, Mich., Junior Williamson, Taylor, Mich. and Zach Williamson, Harrison Township, Mich.; five sisters, Roberta Cariethers and Anna Jane Smith, both of Belleville, Mich., Maxine Jones, Ferndale, Mich., Norma J. Williamson, Ypsilanti, Mich., and Castle Deskins, Temple, Ariz.; and 37 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a granddaughter and a son-in-law, James O. Watt.
She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at W. H. Dick and Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Rick Brosher officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
