Sandra Sue Putman, 58, 164 Margo Lane, Celina, died at 6:08 a.m. Dec. 7, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to cancer.
She was born Oct. 29, 1945, in Celina, to LeRoy and Dorothy Bauer Schroeder. Her mother survives in Celina. On April 29, 1972, she married Terrel M. Putman who also survives.
A son, Michael (Kelly), survives in New Knoxville.
Deceased is a brother, Ronald Schroeder.
She worked at Celina Insurance Group and later at McDonald's restaurant, Celina. A 1965 graduate of Celina High School, she was a member of Celina First Church of God.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Richard VanHorn officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Cleo Reed
Cleo Lucile Reed, 88, of Rockford, died at 3:37 a.m. Dec. 8, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born March 19, 1915, in Blackcreek Township, to Merle and Hazel Stover Yocum. On April 4, 1948, she married Ulysses Grant Reed who died Oct. 4, 1978.
Surviving are a sister, Doris Piper, Rockford; nine nieces and nephews, 14 great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
She and her husband served 20 years in the Salvation Army before retiring to Rockford. She was a Sunday School teacher and helper at New Horizon Church.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Robert Loar officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
William Russell
William A. Russell, 78, 645 N. Main St., Celina, died at 4:20 p.m. Dec. 6, 2003, at his residence.
He was born June 20, 1925, in Bowling Green, to Edward Freeman and Ariel Taylor Russell. On May 12, 1946, he married Helen A. Coats and she survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Rebecca Cannon, Salt Lake City, Utah, Viki Shaffer, Celina, Peggy Jo (Dale) Borts, Dayton, and Jane Davis, Gig Harbor, Wash.; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son-in-law, James Q. Cannon, and a sister and brother-in-law, Martha Joan and David Russell.
He operated his own trucking business for 26 years and was a salesman for Kenworth Trucks for 20 years before retiring in 1986. A 1943 graduate of Celina High School, he served with the U.S. Marine Corps in the Asian-Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, and the Family Motor Coach Association.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina.

Patricia Siefring
Patricia R. Siefring, 48, 2187 Ohio 705, New Weston, died Dec. 6, 2003, at her residence. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Aug. 31, 1955, in Union City, Ind., to William and Armella Wendel Timmerman. Her mother survives in Rossburg. On Nov. 3, 1973, she married Eugene Siefring and he survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Eric, Chad, Bill and Joe, all of New Weston; a daughter, Sherrie (Rick) Keller, Fort Recovery; a brother, Chuck (Emily) Timmerman, Union City; six sisters, Kay (Tom) Walsh, Bluffton, Ind., Peg (Louie) Hart, Fort Recovery, Pam (Stephen) Hartzell and Debbie (Tom) Bueter, all of Rossburg, Penny (Steve) Brunk and Marie (Jerry) Hoehn, all of Union City; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herbert and Irene Siefring, New Weston; and two sisters-in-law, Gerry (Earl) Hartman, Greenville, and Erma (Bobby) Stump, Fort Recovery.
Deceased are a son, Craig Timmerman, and three brothers, Donald, Paul and David Timmerman.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Altar Sodality, both of Sharpsburg, and a 1973 graduate of Mississinawa Valley High School.
Funeral Mass was 10:30 a.m. today at the church, the Rev. Matthew Jozefiak officiated. Burial followed at the church cemetery.
Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, had charge of arrangements.

Teresa Baker
Teresa E. Baker, 43, 770 E. Buchtel Ave., Akron, died at 1:42 p.m. Dec. 6, 2003, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys, following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 30, 1959, in Dayton, to Charles Baker and Janet Billiger Baker Ake. Her mother and stepfather, Don Ake, survive in St. Marys.
Also surviving are two sons, Christopher (Janet) and Nicholas, all of Akron; a daughter, Janet of Akron; a brother, Nick of Lucasville; two sisters, Janetta (Craig) Summers, Canton, and Babette (John) Baumgarten, Bradenton, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Calling is after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ernest Bickel
Ernest E. Bickel, 78, 804 Sharpsburg Road, Fort Recovery, died at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 6, 2003, at his residence.
He was born March 10, 1925, in Fort Recovery, to Cecil and Edith Rockwell Bickel. On May 22, 1943, he married Onnalee Green and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Roger (Sharon) of Troy, Mo.; two daughters, Janice (Dick) Fiely and Karen (Ron) Ranly, both of Fort Recovery; a sister, Helen Slick, Winchester, Ind.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He retired from Westinghouse in Union City, Ind., and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Recovery.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Tamora Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.

Annabelle Burger
Annabelle R. Burger, 85, formerly of 206 N. Spruce St., St. Marys, died at 1:45 p.m. Dec. 6, 2003, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 11, 1918, in Celina, to Roy and Maggie Long Shimp. On Sept. 6, 1936, she married Harold E. Burger who died June 22, 1967.
Surviving are two sons, James (Cleora) of St. Marys, and Robert of Cumming, Ga.; a daughter, Ruth Anne Roberts, St. Marys; a brother, Robert Shimp, Lima; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four sisters, Mae Wurster, Mildred Jenkins, Bonnie Bockrath and Ruth Reisinger, and a granddaughter.
She had been a child care provider for many years and also worked as a cashier at Agape Ministries Pantry in St. Marys. A 1935 graduate of Celina Senior High School, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Woman and the former Kishler Women's Relief Corps, all of St. Marys.
Services are 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. James Nuhfer officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near St. Marys.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and after noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Anthony Salisbury
Anthony R. "Tony" Salisbury, 57, 9849 Ohio 49, Rockford, died at 5:40 a.m. Dec. 6, 2003, at Adams County Hospital, Decatur, Ind. Death was due to cancer.
He was born July 22, 1946, in Martin, Ky., to Blaine and Mae Nitchie Salisbury. His mother survives in St. Marys. On March 18, 1966, he married Darlene Germann who also survives.
Other survivors are a son, Lester B. (Brenda) of Rockford; a daughter, Dawn (Timothy) Doner, Celina; two brothers, Kenneth Dale (Nancy) and Danny (Valerie), all of St. Marys; a sister, Francis (Lee) Pyles, Indian Lake; and five grandchildren.
He was a self-employed mechanic and gunsmith and owned Salisbury & Son Service Center and S&S Muzzle Loading Shop, both of Chattanooga. A 1965 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, he was a U.S. Army veteran and member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys. He also attended Mount Tabor Church of God, Celina.
He was a member of the Willshire Sports Club, Stonestrace-Muzzleloading Club and Quabache Long Rife Club, both of Indiana, Shawnee Long Rifle Gun Club, VWA Long Rifle Club of West Virginia, and a life member of the NMLRA of which he was a field representative, assistant chief ranger officer and national champion. He also was a representative for the MDM Company of Vermont.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. James Keiser officiating. Burial is at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery.
