Jasen Lange
Jasen B. Lange, 24, 542 Center St., Russells Point, died Feb. 22, 2001 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Auglaize County.
He was born Oct. 16, 1976, in Bellefontaine, to Jeffrey B. Lange and Mary Lynn (Payton) Hammond, who survive.
Other survivors include a step-mother, Roberta of Russells Point; a sister, Angela of Russells Point; two brothers, Ryan M. of Marion and Dustin A. of Russells Point; two step-sisters and their husbands, Nikki J. and Michael J. Knott Moseinski of Toledo and Holly D. and David F. Knott Maier of Huntsville; a step-brother, T. Kirk Knott of Norfolk, Va.; and grandparents, Rosemary Payton of Marysville and John B. Jr. and Erma of Huntsville.
Deceased are a grandfather, Joseph Payton and an uncle, David Payton.
He was employed at Celina Aluminum Precision Technology, a 1996 graduate of Indian Lake High School and a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point, where he was a server for many years.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Harold W. Kist officiating. Burial will follow at the Huntsville Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Van Horn Funeral Home in Lakeview. Prayers will be read at 1:45 p.m.

Donald Hayes
Former Celina resident Donald R. "Don" Hayes, 68, died Feb. 23, 2001 at his Marysville residence.
He was born April 27, 1932, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Chester Russell and Viola S. (Burrous) Hayes.
Survivors are a son and his wife, William "Bill" and Lura of Marysville; a son, Chet of Ostrander; a daughter and her husband, LuAnn and Bill Wallace, Ostrander; and three granddaughters.
Deceased are a sister, Bonnie, and a brother, Russell.
He was retired from General Dynamics Corp., Lima, worked at a local plumbing business, was employed as a maintenance repairman at Helen Evans Apartments in Marysville and was a U.S. Army veteran stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, during the Korean War. He was a 1950 graduate of Rockford High School.
Memorial services are 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mannasmith-Hale Funeral Home, Marysville, the Rev. Richard Teller officiating. Burial is 1 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery near Rockford.
Calling is 6 p.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mabel Zahn
Mabel M. Zahn, 84, 830 W. Main St., Coldwater, died at 9:10 a.m. Feb. 25, 2001 at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born Aug. 30, 1916, in Montezuma, to Harman David and Anna Marie (Linneman) Klosterman. On May 23, 1938, she married Marcellus "Mike" Zahn, who died Dec. 5, 1992.
Survivors are two sons and their wives, Norman and Mary of Coldwater, and Michael and Debra of Denver, Colo.; two daughters and their husbands, Shirley and Robert Hogan, Coldwater, and Robin and Don LaByer, Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Ethel Klosterman, Montezuma; 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Roger, a daughter, Irene, two sisters, a brother and a great-grandchild.
She owned Bruckens Cafe in Fort Loramie and was a former employee of Holy Trinity Church and Buckeye Apparel, both in Coldwater, and Huffy Bicycle Corp., formerly in Celina. She was a member of the church and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Carolyn Young
Carolyn J. Young, 57, died at 7 a.m. Feb. 26, 2001 at her residence at 217 W. Butler St., Fort Recovery.
She was born Jan. 27, 1944, in Greenville, to Webb and Ruby (Anthony) Young. Her mother survives.
Other survivors include two sisters, Shirley and Linda, both of Fort Recovery.
Deceased are her father and two brothers, Kenneth and Webb Jr.
She was a member of Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. John Perkins officiating. Burial is at Teagarden Cemetery, Union City.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, and after 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Caroline Cluckey
Caroline Eloise Cluckey, 57, died of cancer at 8 p.m. Feb. 27, 2001 at her residence at 628 W. Anthony St., Celina.
She was born April 12, 1943, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Iver and Carol Moen.
Survivors are a daughter, Teresa of Celina; a son and his wife, Scott and Marilyn E. of Celina; a son, Glen Jr. of Toledo; a sister, Angeline Barnett, address unknown; a brother, Ernest Letourmeau, Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.
Deceased are both parents.
She was employed at Celina Aluminum Precision Technology (CAPT), Celina, and also was employed as a baker for several years. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Fraternal Order of Eagles auxiliaries, and Women of the Moose, all of Celina. She attended St. John Lutheran Church, Celina.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, Dennis Lee officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Norma Wallischeck
Norma Wallischeck, 70, died Feb. 27, 2001 at her residence at 422 W. Votaw St., Portland, Ind.
She was born Oct. 1, 1930, in Jay County, Ind., to Leo and Agnes (Braun) Muhlenkamp. Her father later married Mary Schmidt. On Jan. 5, 1949, she married Joe Wallischeck, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Rick of Portland, Ind.; three daughters, Nancy Preston, Phoenix, Ariz., Ruth Hosier, Portland, Ind., and Susan Pugh, Fort Recovery; a brother, James Muhlenkamp, Portland, Ind.; four sisters, Eileen Welsch, St. Anthony, Luella Laux and Martha Hilgeford, both of Portland, Ind., and Rosie Deitsch, Coldwater; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Jim.
She co-owned and operated Northside and Southside Carryout Liquor Stores in Portland, Ind., with her husband. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Alpha Delta Gamma Nu Sorority, American Legion Auxiliary, and Women of the Moose, all of Portland, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Marty Sandhage officiating. Burial is at Green Park Cemetery, Portland, Ind.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, Ind., with a scripture service at 8 p.m.

Terry Meuret
Word has been received of the death of Terry J. Meuret, 42, of Dayton, Feb. 21, 2001.
His mother, former Celina resident Elvira (Pete) Meuret, survives in Dayton, as does his wife, Kathy.
Other survivors include two sons, Joshua and Jason Laudermilk, both of Dayton; a sister and her husband, Linda and Don Clem, Englewood; a sister, Debra Caldwell, Englewood; and in-laws, Richard and Sylvia Marks, Dayton.
His father is deceased.
He was employed at Custom Design and Mold Co., Dayton, and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, North Dayton Anglers and Gun Club.
Services were held Monday at the church, the Rev. Anthony Dattilo officiated. Burial was held at Calvary Cemetery.
Baker-Hazel Funeral Home, Dayton, handled arrangements.
