Delores Craft
Delores M. Craft, 77, 2115 Celina Road, St. Marys, died at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 18, 2002 at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton, following an extended illness.
She was born April 8, 1924, in St. Marys, to Harvey and Mathilda (Stratman) Wilkens. On Nov. 22, 1939, she married Floyd E. Craft and he survives.
Also surviving are a son and his wife, Roger and Jacqueline of Lima, and a son, Tom of St. Marys; a daughter and her husband, Janet and John Riggenbach, Columbus Grove; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and five step-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Leota Wilkens and Mary Elizabeth Howard, and a grandson.
She formerly worked at Lazarus Department Store in Lima. She was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church and Hawthorne Chapter 119, Order of Eastern Star, both of St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ron Spurgeon officiating. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Adella Heitkamp
Adella C. Heitkamp, 75, 2105 Jefferson St., Maria Stein, died at 7:40 p.m. Feb. 17, 2002 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She had been ill six months.
She was born July 13, 1926, in Egypt, to Bernard and Ursula (Rutschilling) Wehrman. On April 24, 1947, she married Arthur "Johnny" Heitkamp and he died Feb. 26, 1998.
Surviving are five sons and their wives, Donald and Elaine of Pagosa Springs, Colo., Patrick and Cindy, Alan and Sandy and Leon and Elaine, all of Maria Stein, and Philip and Theresa of New Bremen; two daughters and their husbands, Susan and Edward Demange, North Star, and Anita and Fred Wuebker Jr., Minster; two brothers and their wives, Albert and Alberta Wehrman and Eugene and Margie Wehrman, all of Egypt; a sister and her husband, Olivia and Joseph Eilerman, Botkins, and a sister, Viola Bruns, Coldwater; 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
An infant son is deceased.
She was a homemaker and a volunteer at Community Hospital, Coldwater, and the Maria Stein Center. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and St. Anne Ladies Sodality, both of Maria Stein.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Emil Labbe officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Richard Honeyman
Richard J. "Dick" Honeyman, 55, of Celina, formerly of Troy, died at 5:17 a.m. Feb. 17, 2002 at Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born May 16, 1946, in Willard, to Richard and Lucille (Lawrence) Honeyman.
Surviving with his wife, the former Rebecca "Becky" Kiser, are two sons and their wives, Jeffrey and Phyllis Myers, Rural Retreat, Va., and Pete and Ann Myers, Celina; two daughters and their husbands, Mindy and Andre McReynolds, Kettering, and Jennifer and Wayne Ball, Casstown; two brothers and their wives, Dwight and Tina and John and Leslie, all of Troy; two sisters and their husbands, Marilyn and Richard Bennett, Arizona, and Donna and Gary Crump, Troy, and a sister, Mary Hefner, also of Troy; and six grandchildren.
He retired from B.F. Goodrich in Troy after 25 years of service.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Garden, Vandalia.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Thomas Isbell
Thomas Eugene "Gene" Isbell, 53, of Rockford, died at 9:15 p.m. Feb. 15, 2002 at Veterans Administration Hospital, Marion, Ind. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Oceola, Ark., to Elvie L. and Mozell (Davis) Isbell. His mother survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kristy Kimmel, Celina; two brothers, Tom of Wapakoneta and Donald of Celina; five sisters, Judy Welch and Joyce Wingett, both of Celina, Diane Rhodefeffer, Rossburg, and Shirley Steiner and Sharleen Jones, both of Rockford; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Bobby, Rob and Billy Joe.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He had worked in a factory.
Services are 1 p.m. today at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Glenn Masser officiating. Burial will be at Neptune Cemetery.

Raymond McClain
Raymond McClain, 60, of Celina, formerly of Middletown, died Feb. 17, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born March 6, 1941, to Frank and Mattie (Blanton) McClain.
Surviving with his wife, the former Mary Wardlow, are a daughter and her husband, Teresa and George Crout, Jacksonburg; a brother and his wife, Kenneth and Maria of Naples, Fla., and a brother, James of Franklin; a sister, Louise Pence, Missouri; and a grandson.
He was employed in maintenance at Kozy Kampground near Montezuma. He attended Middletown High School and was an officer with the Ohio National Guard in Kettering. He was a member of Christian Enterprise Baptist Church and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 501, Middletown, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1291 and American Legion Post 210, both of Celina. He was also a member of the Middletown Ritual Team.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, Middletown, the Rev. James Anderson officiating.
Calling will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Moose services will be held there at 7:30.

Allan Ballard
Allan A. Ballard, 90, of Waterville, Kan., formerly of St. Marys, died Feb. 18, 2002 at Community Memorial Hospital in Marysville, Kan., following an extended illness.
He was born May 18, 1911, in Barnes, Kan., to Penual and E. Blanche (Taylor) Ballard. On Sept. 3, 1937, he married Ruth E. Mechling and she died July 29, 1974. On June 14, 1975, he married Verta Zeller and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter and her husband, Shirley and Larry Clausing, St. Marys; a stepson, Loren Press, Tyler, Texas; a stepdaughter, Phyllis Balch, Brownsville, Texas; three granddaughters, 10 stepgrandchildren and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was a 1930 graduate of Barnes High School in Kansas and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was a retired finish carpenter and cabinet maker. He was a former member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and a member of John Doerr American Legion Post 145 in Barnes, Kansas.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. David Woodyard officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is after 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Paul Desch
Paul J. Desch, 74, of Dayton, died Feb. 18, 2002 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 23, 1927, in Dayton, to Clarence V. and Marie C. Desch.
Surviving with his wife, the former Ellen Behrer, are two sons and their wives, Anthony and Stella of Sacramento, Calif., and Matthew and Kim of Altona, N.Y., and one son, Steven of Dayton; five daughters and their husbands, Diana and Rob Roseman and Pat and Jim Albrektson, all of Springboro; Christina and Mark Stammen and Elizabeth and Bill Wourms, all of St. Henry, and Rebecca and Mike Felfoldi, Vandalia; a brother, Joseph; sister-in-law, Marilyn Knight; and 21 grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Paula Jo, and a brother, Bernard.
He retired from Printing Service after 36 years of service. He was a Korean War veteran and a member of the North Riverdale Athletic Club.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Dayton.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at George C. Martin Funeral Home, Dayton. A prayer service will be held there at 10 a.m. Friday.
