James Zumwald
Former Mercer County resident James M. Zumwald, 52, died Jan. 7, 2001, at his residence in Columbus following a sudden illness.
He was born April 30, 1948 in Celina to Louis and Eleanora (Hess) Zumwald. His mother survives in Maria Stein.
Other survivors are a brother and his wife, Joseph and Linda and a brother Gerald all of Maria Stein; a sister and her husband, Patricia and Henry Langenkamp of Burkettesville; and two sisters, Karen of Minster and Mary Ann Noble, Vandalia.
He was employed at Advanced Title Solutions LTD in Columbus and was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the American Legion, both in Maria Stein. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, stationed in Crete, and a 1966 graduate of Marion Local High School and of the Columbus Business College.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Emil Labbe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
R. Raymond Bollenbacher
R. Raymond Bollenbacher, 85, died at 6:20 a.m. Jan. 10, 2001 at the Laurels of Shane Hill Nursing Home near Rockford, where he was a resident.
He was born Jan. 22, 1915, in Liberty Twp., Mercer County, to Lawrence and Margaret (McDonold) Bollenbacher. On Nov. 20, 1937, he married Alma R. Lakes, who died Aug. 6, 1999.
Survivors include a sister, Violet Klenz, Celina; a brother, Glenn of Hamilton; and a brother-in-law, Calvin Fennig, Fort Recovery.
He was retired from NCR in Dayton and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Stillwater Masonic Lodge in Dayton, and was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Indiana.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Chris Adams officiating. Burial is at St. Pauls United Church of Christ Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
R. Thomas Lewis Jr.
R. Thomas "Tom" Lewis Jr., 53, of Celina, died of natural causes at 8:47 a.m. Jan. 9, 2001 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born May 5, 1947, in Troy, to Russell Thomas Sr. and Doris J. (Starry) Lewis, both whom survive in Troy. He married Kathi S. Whitacre, who also survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Jeffrey Myers of Virginia, and James Nuding, Lima; seven daughters, Mindy Hernandez of Kettering, Misty of Dayton, Rachel of Huber Heights and Andrea Lewis and Amanda, Danielle and Jessie Nuding, all of Celina; three sisters and their husbands, Becky and Jerry Myers, Huber Heights, Judy and Mike McEldowney, Piqua, and Diana and Danny Boling, West Liberty; and three grandchildren.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1291, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, all of Celina. He was a 1965 graduate of Troy High School.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Burial is at Casstown Cemetery.
Calling is 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Cameo Miller
Former Celina resident Cameo H. Miller, 90, 694 Isaac Prugh Way, Kettering, died at 6:25 p.m. Jan. 10, 2001 at Lincoln Manor in Kettering.
She was born Sept. 8, 1910, in Botkins, to Dr. John and Ida (Wertz) Hurlburt. On Oct. 10, 1931, she married Rudy J. Miller, who died Nov. 19, 1966.
Survivors are three daughters and their husbands, Marcia and Thomas White III, Dayton, Carole and Louis Finkelmeier, and Elaine and Joseph Shea, all of Cincinnati; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, John Hurlburt.
She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Sodality, American Legion Auxiliary, Mercer County Elks Auxiliary and Women of the Moose, all of Celina. She was a graduate of St. Mary's College, South Bend, Ind.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery in Ottoville.
Calling is 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina.

Lloyd Weber
Lloyd F. Weber, 85, 529 N. Buckeye St., Celina, died at 11:05 p.m. Jan. 10, 2001 at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
He was born Feb. 5, 1915, in Celina, to Emil G. and Lillie (Sealschott) Weber. On Feb. 24, 1945, he married Marie Berg, who survives.
Other survivors are a son and his wife, Robert and Barbara of Celina; a daughter and her husband, Jackie and Luke Springer, Celina; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Ralph.
He was retired from Celina Manufacturing, first working with sheet metal then working in the office. He served as secretary and was a member of Celina Masonic Lodge, and was past patron for the Order of Eastern Stars, Celina. He was a member of St. Marys council, St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, Royal Arch Masons, St. Marys, Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton; Antioch Temple, Dayton, and Ivanhoe Commandry, Van Wert.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial is at Buck Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Masonic services will be conducted 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Ada Andrews
Ada B. Andrews, 91, 306 W. Jefferson St., Ohio City, died at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 10, 2001 at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Dec. 21, 1909, in Celina, to Adam and May (Mote) Lehman. On April 21, 1929, she married Irvin Andrews, who died Nov. 10, 1979.
Survivors are two daughters and their husbands, Delilah and Harold Adams, Celina, and Londa and Lee Pontsler, Van Wert; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Kenneth, and a sister, Edith Wirebaugh.
She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God, Ohio City.
Private services were held today at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Steve Waterman officiated. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
Frederick Drury
Frederick C. "Fritz" Drury, 79, 11751 Bay Road, Wapakoneta, died at 12:11 a.m. Jan. 11, 2001 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born July 14, 1921, in Wapakoneta, to William L. and Nellie L. (Sheipline) Drury. On April 12, 1945, he married Dolly Tabler, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters and their husbands, Judy and Harry Haggard, Lima, and Joyce and Jim Miller, Wapakoneta; a sister, Virginia Dardio, Wapakoneta; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was a retired truck driver and member of the Teamsters Union 654 of Dayton. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 767, St. Marys.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Long & Folk Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, the Rev. Elaine Mikesell officiating. The body will be cremated, and burial services will be held later at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
