Martha Woodruff
Martha M. Woodruff, 95, formerly of 619 Cron St., Celina, died at 4:34 p.m. March 2, 2001 at Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born Nov. 14, 1905, in Mercer County, to Henry and Rosa (Schlenker) Becher. On April 25, 1930, she married Troy Woodruff, who died May 8, 1966.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Betty Jo of Celina, and two grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Larry, two sisters, Freda and Carrie, and a granddaughter.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Chattanooga.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. John Moffett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

Pauline Dabbelt
Pauline J. Dabbelt, 95, 15241 St. Marys River Road, St. Marys, died at 10:42 p.m. March 4, 2001 at St. Marys Living Center.
She was born July 13, 1905, in St. Marys, to Julius Philip and Pauline Louise (Hoppel) Brodbeck. On June 28, 1934, she married Ferdinand Frank Dabbelt, who died May 25, 1962.
Survivors are a son and his wife, James Philip and Pam of Batavia; a daughter and her husband, Mary Lou and Billy Joe Mitchell, Mesquite, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Walter and Lawrence Brodbeck, and four sisters, Agnes Hirsch, Ethel Lange, Helen Makley and Stella Gerstner.
She was a homemaker and retired secretary of St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and was a 1923 graduate of St. Marys High School. She attended Bowling Green State Teachers College.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David A. Heinl officiating. Burial is at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, with a Christian prayer service at 8 p.m.
Ted Kolter
Former Rockford resident, Ted Cook Kolter, 81, of Celina, died March 1, 2001 at the Lake Placid Health Care Center, Lake Placid, Fla.
He was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Rockford, to Gustave and Kathryn (Cook) Kolter. On Dec. 8, 1955, he married Janell Griggs, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons and their wives, Teddy J. and Peggy of Sarasota, Fla., and Tim and Ilona of Culleoka, Tenn.; a daughter and her husband, Sharon and Kim Katterheinrich, Hamilton; a daughter, Denny Pendarvis, Lehigh Acres, Fla.; three brothers, Paul of Atlanta,Ga., Richard of Tallahassee, Fla., and Lee of Phoenix, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was retired as a rural mail carrier in Rockford and owned the Dinner Bell Restaurant, formerly known as Kolter's Coffee Cup. He was a member of Rockford Presbyterian Church, Rockford Chamber of Commerce, and Rockford Masonic Shanes Lodge 337.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Orville Ruedebusch
Orville C. Ruedebusch, 91, 32 S. Herman St., New Bremen, died at 1:20 p.m. March 5, 2001 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
He was born Feb. 1, 1910, near New Bremen, to Henry D. and Emma (Kuest) Ruedebusch. On Dec. 25, 1934, he married Dorothy Lietz, who died in February 1967. On Sept. 30, 1971, he married Irene (Kettler) Blanke, who died Dec. 22, 1990.
Survivors are a daughter, Joyce of Grove City; a sister, Margaret Slattery, Wapakoneta; and a sister-in-law, Althea of Wapakoneta.
Deceased are two brothers, Paul and Norman.
He was retired from the United States Postal Service in New Bremen, serving the last 13 years as postal master. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the European Theatre during World War II. He served clerk of the New Bremen School Board, and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and American Legion Post 241, both of New Bremen, of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8445, Wapakoneta, National Association of Postmasters, the Woodman of the World Camp 149, B.P.O.E. Mercer County Lodge 2170, and a charter member of New Bremen Historic Association. He was a 1928 graduate of New Bremen High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Revs. John W. Tostrick and Jeanne Spoor officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Joyce Staudt
Joyce Dale Staudt, 69, of Meridian, Miss., died March 3, 2001 at University Medical Center.
He was born April 27, 1931, in Darke County, to Leonard and Beulah (Thomas) Staudt. His mother survives in Coldwater. On Jan. 19, 1990, he married Mildred Bryan, who survives.
Other survivors include three sisters and their husbands, Evelyn and Don McMillan, Portland, Ind., Carolyn and Dallas Emans, Celina, and Kay and Robert Seeger, Coldwater. Several stepchildren also survive.
Services were held March 5 at Webb Funeral Home in Meridian, Miss., the Rev. Jerry Reede officiating. Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian.
Wayland Walls
Former Rockford resident Wayland W. Walls, 70, 1122 Founders Circle, Van Wert, died at 3:10 a.m. March 5, 2001 at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert.
He was born Oct. 13, 1930, in Ohio City, to Clarence and Shirley (Knight) Walls. On Dec. 7, 1952, he married Despina Trabazan, who survives.
Other survivors are three daughters and their husbands, Katina and Randall Burton, Newark, Del., Connie and Charley Moser-Myers, Van Wert, and Kelly and Stephen Whitaker, Celina; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was retired from Continental Can Co./Sonoco Fibre Drum Co., Van Wert, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial with military rites conducted by Van Wert American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts is at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pauline Drake
Pauline I. Drake, 88, 812 Pro Drive, Celina, died at 4:30 p.m. March 6, 2001 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Aug. 11, 1912, in Taylor, N.Y., to Harley and Polly Ann (Randal) Fisk. On May 9, 1958, she married Maurice Drake, who died Nov. 22, 1963.
Survivors include a sister-in-law and her husband, Barbara and Garland Durham, Eaton, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are four brothers.
She was a homemaker.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date, the Rev. Garland Durham officiating. Burial is at Union Valley Cemetery in New York.
There will be no visitation.
