RALPH WALDO MACY, age 90, of West Milton, Ohio, died Wednesday December 3, 2003 at 6 A.M. at Harborside Nursing Home, Troy, Ohio. He was born in Phillipsburg, Ohio February 3, 1913 to the late Charles and Ethel (Ditmer) Macy. He married
Olive M. Sowers on September 20, 1934 in Phillipsburg, Ohio and remained happily married
for 69 years and she survives.
Also surviving is 1 Son and Daughter-In-Law: Merlin & Judith Macy of W. Milton, Ohio; 1 Daughter: Sandra Dohrman of W. Milton, Ohio. 5 Grandchildren: Collette Wick Smith of Piqua, Ohio; Thomas Wick II of Englewood, Ohio; Jeanie Dohrman of Troy, Ohio; Dejon Dohrman of W. Milton, Ohio; Allen & Dee Dee Traylor of Longmont, Colorado. 8 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. 1 Brother: Enos Macy of Phillipsburg, Ohio.
Mr. Macy was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Jeanie Wick in 1966 and 1 Brother: Cleo Macy.
He was a member of the West Milton Church of the Brethren and retired in 1968 from Inland Div. of General Motors after 34 years of service.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 8, 2003 at 11 A.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME in Piqua, Ohio with Rev. Larry Baughman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery, West Milton, Ohio. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home.

VIOLA M. POUR, 91, of Troy, Ohio, Died Saturday Dec. 6, 2003 at 1:25 P.M. at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born Oct. 30, 1912 in Shelby County to the late Justin and Ellen (Couchot) Monnin.
She married
Delbert Pour in 1935 in Russia, Ohio, he preceded her in death in 1991.
Surviving are 2 Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Sara & Harold Zimmerman of Piqua, Ohio.; Kathy & Jerol Coate of Lakeview, Ohio. Also surviving are 4 Grandchildren, Kieth & Lucinda Zimmerman, Kenneth Zimmerman, Corey & Olivea Coate, and Chad & Carey Coate. Seven Great-Grandchildren
Viola was preceded in death by 1 Son, 4 Brothers and 1 Sister.
She was a member of St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Covington, Ohio where she was a member of the Alter Rosary Sadality. She was also a member of the Time of Your Life in Troy, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday December 10, 2003 at 10 A.M. at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Covington, Ohio with Rev.Fr. Jim Duell and Rev.Fr. Ralph E. Perin, Jr: age 50, formerly of Piqua, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 8:10 a.m. at Vandalia Park Nursng Center. He was born November 27, 1953 in Sidney, Ohio to Ralph E. Perin, Sr. of Piqua, Ohio and the late Lucinda I. (Shoffner) Perin.
Ralph is survived by two daughters and son-in-law: Alisha and Mark Wion and Jennifer Perin both of Piqua;one brother and sister-in-law: Al and Lisa Perin of Sidney and one sister & Brother-In-Law: Shirley and Ivan Reiber of Piqua.
Mr. Perin was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Linda Murphy.
He graduated from Piqua High School in 1972. Ralph was a member of St. Boniface Church and was employed at Copeland Corp. in Sidney as a machinist for 10 years.
Mass of Christian burial will be Friday December 12, 2003 at 11 A.M. at St. Boniface Church, Piqua, Ohio with Rev.Fr. Angelo Caserta as celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Hill cemetery.

Clara C. Marshall, 96, left this world on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003. Formerly of Sidney, Ohio, Mrs. Marshall was a resident of Lely Palms Retirement Center in Naples, Fla. where she had been since 1984. She was born May 2, 1907 in Piqua, Oh. to the late Frank C. and Mary (Croft) Plock. She was married
to the late Attorney & Judge Frank H. Marshall who preceded her in death.
Surviving her is her daughter Janie Marshall of Naples, Fla., four grandchildren: T.J. Maloney of Cleveland, Oh, Nancy Byington of Denver, Co., Julie Maloney of Naples, Fla., and Patrick Maloney of Punta Gorda, Fla., four great-grandchildren and a nephew John R. Duncan of Sun City, Fla.

XAVIER D. and CONNOR J. JOYCE, Infant twin sons of John F.A. and Nicole (Salm) Joyce of Huber Heights, Ohio died Thursday December 11, 2003 at 3:27 A.M. at Southview Hospital in Centerville, Ohio.

John P. Bair: age 83 of Piqua; died Friday, December 12, 2003 at 10:48 p.m. at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. He was born January 15, 1920 in Piqua to the late Frank and Alice (Wolf) Bair. He married
Ethel M. (Oldfather) Bair in 1943; she preceded him in death in March 6, 1979.
John is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: John L. Bair and James and Cindy Bair; 12 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, (with one on the way) and 3 step- great grandchildren. He is also survived by a special friend: Deloris Dye.
One sister: Lucy Ellen Bair and one son: Joseph L. Bair preceded him in death.
Mr. Bair graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1939. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. John served our country during WW II in the U.S. Army, serving in the South Pacific as a combat engineer. He retired from A.O. Smith in 1985 where he was responsible for gauge repair, tool inspector and layout.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Fletcher cemetery with full military honors provided by Piqua VFW Post # 4864. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

HAROLD E. FAGAN, age 95, of Troy, Ohio, died Monday December 15, 2003 at 9:50 A.M. at Piqua Manor Nursing Home, Piqua, Ohio. He was born in Sidney, Ohio January 25, 1908 to the late Robert and Eliza (Allen) Fagan. He married
Ann Barns. She preceded him in death in 1997.
He is survived by 1 Daughter and Son-In-Law: Joann and James Bundschuh of Piqua, Ohio; 5 Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Fagan was preceded in death by 3 Sons, 1 Sister and 1 Great-grandson.
He graduated from Sidney High School in 1926 and was a member of The Family of Grace United Methodist Church. Mr. Fagan was the owner of Fagan Mold Co. in Piqua, Ohio for 20 years before retiring in 1964.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 18, 2003 at 2 P.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME in Piqua, Ohio with Rev. Mary Haldeman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill cemetery, Piqua, Ohio. Calling hours will be from 1-2 P.M. preceding the service at the funeral home.

Howard Offenbacher on May 16, 2003 in Bok Tower Gardens, Florida and he survives.
Also surviving are 2 Step Daughters & a Step Son-in-law: Linda & David Troutman, Franklin, Tn. and Luanne Offenbacher, Florence, Ky.; 2 Step Sons & Step Daughters-in-law: Larry & Becky Offenbacher, Huntsville, Alabama and Lon & Amy Offenbacher, Rochester, Michigan; 1 Brother & Sister-in-law: Ercel Ray & Laura Cooke, Centerville, Ohio and 1 Sister & Brother-in-law: Joyce & Robert Ullery, Brookville, Ohio.
Mrs. Offenbacher graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School in 1956 and from The University of Cincinnati in 1961 with a Bachelor Degree in Business. She was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Kettering, Ohio, and member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Piqua, Oh. She spent 30 years in the banking industry. In the later years, she was a sales associate at Elder-Beerman working in the jewelry department for 7 years.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 24, 2003 at 11 A.M. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Piqua, Ohio with Dr. William Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6 - 9 P.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, PIQUA, OH.

EDWARD J. KRAMPE: age 98 of Piqua, Ohio, died Sunday, December 21, 2003 at 8:07 a.m. at his residence. He was born July 29, 1905 in Ft. Loramie, OH to the late Peter and Josephine (Seigel) Krampe. He was married
to Marie G. Koon on July 12, 1934 in St. Boniface Church, Piqua, OH. She preceded him in death September 14, 1989.
Mr. Krampe is survived by 4 daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Ann Thompson, Farmington Hills, MI, Helen Paulus, Piqua, OH, Cathy Krampe, Lecheria, Venezuela and Barbara & Ben Johnson, New Orleans, LA; 2 sons & daughters-in-law: Ed & Cindy Krampe, Lafayette, LA, and Paul & Jean Krampe, Encinitas, CA; 1 sister-in-law: Pearl Krampe, Piqua, OH; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Mr. Krampe was preceded in death by 1 brother and 3 sisters.
He attended Ft. Loramie Schools, was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Piqua, OH and was a member of Knights of St. John and Knights of Columbus. Mr. Krampe owned and operated Piqua Poultry and McKinley Produce in Piqua for many years. He was also a member of Piqua Eagles #614 and Elks B.P.O.E. #523 in Piqua.
Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday December 23, 2003 at 1 P.M. at St. Boniface Church, Piqua, OH with Rev. Fr. James Hoffbauer and Rev. Fr. Angelo Caserta as co-celebrants. Burial will follow in Forest Hill cemetery in Piqua.
