Sila E. 'Skeeter' Geier, 97, of Delphos, died at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday at Vancrest Health Care Center.
She was born Feb. 10, 1907 in Lima, to Paul E. and Osie (Copeland) Robinson.
She married Paul E. Geier, who died June 28, 1987.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Mary Lou) Geier of Delphos; four grandchildren, Tom and Mark Geier, Kathy Smithberger and Lisa Ebbeskotte; 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by siblings Francis Becker, Helen Coon and Ralph Sacher; a daughter-in-law, Claire Geier; and a grandson, Tim Geier.
Mrs. Geier was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a 1925 graduate of Jefferson High School. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery.

Beatrice A. Jacoby, 77, of Lima, died at 9:18 a.m. Sunday at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 17, 1926 in Lima, to James Frank and Bessie (Hilyard) Cottrell.
On June 27, 1945, she married Thomas A. Jacoby, who died March 22, 1999.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Chiles and Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel, the Rev. Matthew Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Allentown Cemetery.

Reid Renee (Salupo) Garriga, 26, of Columbus, formerly of Delphos, died March 22.
She was born May 24, 1977.
Survivors include her parents, Tom and Kathy Hanley, Sam Salupo and Pam Sever; her husband, Daniel; a son, Daniel Thomas; sisters, Stephanie Salupo, Heather (Jason) Hooten and Nicole (Greg) McCann; and a brother, Brent Zerkel.
She was loved and will be missed by many.

Bessie V. Klingler, 98, died 3:25 a.m. Monday, in the Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville.
She was born Nov. 15, 1905 in Amanda Township, Allen County, to Charles Newton and Barbara (Roeder) Thomas. On April 11, 1929, she married Harry E. Klingler, who died Aug. 29, 1979.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, the Rev. Thomas Gossard officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery, east of Spencerville.

Paul R. Lindeman, 57, of Van Wert, died at 5:20 a.m. Monday at his residence.
He was born Jan. 10, 1947 in Delphos, to Edwin and Lela (Putnam) Lindeman.
On July 23, 1972, he married Betty Adams, who survives in Van Wert.
Survivors also include four sons, Jeremy (April Hall) Lindeman, Darren Lindeman, Greg Lindeman and Paul (Denella) Lindeman of Van Wert; two daughters, Michelle (Tom) Reyes of Paulding and Tonya (Bob) Panning of Grover Hill; three sisters, Donna Williamson of Van Wert, Carol (Bob) Maloney of Middle Point and JoAnn (Dick) Roberts of Spencerville; three brothers, Larry (Joyce) Lindeman and Gerald (Kay) Lindeman of Delphos, and Jim (Sue) Lindeman of Ohio City; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Lindeman; four brothers, Kenny, Carl, Donald and Edwin Lindeman; and three sisters, Imogene Joseph, Dorthy Williams and Marilyn Martin.
Mr. Lindeman retired from General Motors. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and his children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Harter and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Tim Burden officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, with military graveside rites conducted by the Delphos Veterans Council.

She was born Aug. 7, 1910, in Fort Wayne to George L. and Althea (Cartwright) Pfeiffer. On Oct. 27, 1926, she married Raymond S. Strayer, who died June 9, 1980.

He was born Jan. 26, 1952, in Lima to Doyle and Clare (Reagan) Dix, who are deceased.
On Oct. 5, 1985, he married Yvonne M. Kline, who survives.

Helen L. (Bland) Quickle Steward, 78, of Lima, died at 9:55 a.m. Friday at her residence.
She was born April 21, 1925 in McCutchenville, to George and Eliza (Sower) Bland.
She married Howard Quickle, who died in 1975. She then married Harold Steward, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Lou Sherer of Lima, Polly (Jarman) and Jerrold Welker of Elida, and Nora Michael of Lima; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a special friend, Frank Sweeny.
She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
She was a homemaker and a member of Westside United Methodist Church. She was a supporter of WBGU TV Channel 27.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Siferd Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel, the Rev. Mary Kay Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Beulah Montooth, 87, of Lima, died at 9:50 p.m. at her residence.
She was born Feb. 5, 1917 in Delphos, to John L. and Katherine (Huysman) Buettner.
On March 28, 1936 she married Howard Montooth, who died Jan. 3, 1984.
Survivors include a son, Don (Darlene) Montooth of Elida; two daughters, Ginny (Larry) Moser of Columbus Grove and Sharon (Tomy) Mitchell of Elida; a brother, John (Tillie) Buettner of Elida; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Marciel Leatherman, Hazel Taylor and Joan Davidson; four brothers, Edward, Everett, Cornelius and Hershell Buettner; three half brothers, Poe, Fred and Harold Buettner; a half sister, Lillian Evans; and a granddaughter, Jill Nickles.
Montooth owned a beauty shop in Fort Wayne for many years. She was a cosmetologist for Allen County Home, Fort Wayne and later became a cosmetologist at Columbia Nursing Home. She was a member of Leatherwood Garden Club and Leatherwood/Pamona Grange.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Bluelick Bible Church, Pastor Jim Neighbors officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida.

James H. 'Jim' Tenwalde, 64, of Ottawa, died at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday at his residence.
He was born Aug. 6, 1939 in Putnam County, to Raymond 'Petey' and Marcella (Klausing) Tenwalde.
On July 13, 1968, he married Doris Ellerbrock, who survives in Ottawa.
Other survivors include two brothers, John (Janice) Tenwalde of Ottawa and Thomas (Linda) Tenwalde of Columbus; a sister, Diane Patton of Ottawa; two sisters-in-law, Diane (Jim) Kahle of Kalida and Bonnie (Denny) Wolke of Haskins; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Mr. Tenwalde retired after 40 years with Philips Display Components in Ottawa. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, the Ottawa Eagles and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, the Leipsic Fish and Game and Philips Quarter Century Club. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed reading and loved black poodles.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was married to James Morrison, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Walt) Barnes of Massillon and Jerri (Steven) Freeman of Fort Jennings; a sister, Jean (Dave) Ganoe of La Mirada, Calif.; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Morrison was a former member of Goodyear Heights Baptist Church and later the Tallmadge Community Baptist Church.

Otto J. Heising Sr., 80, of Elida, died at 2:23 p.m. Tuesday at the Dayton V.A. Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 22, 1923 in Ottoville, to Henry and Loretta (Kortokrax) Heising.
On June 25, 1961, he married Kay Frances Miller, who died June 4, 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Otto J. (Sheila) Heising Jr. of Elida and Jeffrey L. Miller of Delphos; a daughter, Loretta (William) Saffle Sr. of Elida; three grandchildren, William (Ashley) Saffle Jr., John Paul Saffle and Haleigh Heising; and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
Mr. Heising retired from Rawls National Standard Division, but also worked at ACY Railroad in Delphos, Lorton Concrete, Borden's Dairy and Westinghouse. He was a member of Wapakoneta Eagles Aerie 691 for 44 years and also a member of VFW Post 3035 and American Legion Post 268 in Delphos. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, serving from 1943-1945 (Topo) as a map reader, truck driver and paratrooper. He enjoyed fishing and watching television, especially wrestling.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harter and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Randy Giesige officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, with graveside military rites conducted by the Delphos Veterans Council.

He was born Jan. 14, 1924, in Delphos, to Henry and Philomena (Gremling) Elwer.
On Aug. 3, 1948, he married Rita M. Karhoff, who died Nov. 15, 1982.
Survivors include a son, Dennis (Cindy) Elwer of Delphos; four daughters, Darlene (James) Pohlman, Diane (Richard) Lindeman and Doris (Terry) Lindeman of Delphos, and Deb (Randy) Lindeman of Ottoville; three sisters, Henrietta Ellerbrock of Glandorf, Marcile (Norman) Schmitz of Ottawa, and Irma Grismore of Delphos; 13 grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, seven great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Elwer; three sisters, Martha Solberg, Pauline Rabe and Alfreda Elwer; and a grandson, Douglas James Pohlman.
Mr. Elwer was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Catholic Knights of Ohio in Landeck and the Knights of Columbus in Delphos. He enjoyed fishing, raising pigeons and was an avid card player.

Elmer H. VonLehmden, 80, of Fort Jennings, died at 5:17 p.m. Saturday following an auto accident.
He was born Oct. 11, 1923 in Fort Jennings, to John B. and Elizabeth (Wallenhorst) VonLehmden.
In January 1978, he married Susan B. Odenweller, who survives in Fort Jennings.
Survivors also include, three children, Dan (Maria) VonLehmden of Acworth, Ga., Joshua (Michelle Gilbert) VonLehmden of Gibsonburg and Sarah VonLehmden of Cincinnati; a sister-in-law, Lillian VonLehmden of Fort Jennings; and two grandchildren, Daniel and Thomas VonLehmden.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard VonLehmden.
Mr. VonLehmden was a life-long farmer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was very active in the Putnam County Historical Society, where he had most recently served as vice president.

Lawrence E. 'Larry' Weilacher, 72, of Spencerville, died at 3:18 a.m. Sunday at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 3, 1932 in Brockway, Pa., to Raymond Floyd and Ina Mae (Clark) Weilacher.
On Sept. 17, 1949, he married Lavina B. McMinn, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Ed (Carol) Weilacher of Delphos, and Vaughn Weilacher of Spencerville; three daughters, Ina (Ron) Welker of Venedocia, Lou Ann (Tim) Washburn of Spencerville and Karen (Bill) Hurles of Carson City, Nev.; two sisters, Jean Smith and Mary (Jody) Lindemuth of Spencerville; a brother-in-law, Lawrence (Ruth) McMinn of Spencerville; a sister-in-law, Wanda Carney of Espanola, N.M.; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Delmo Carney and infant Raymond Floyd; a brother-in-law, Elmer Smith; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Weilacher worked as a trackman for the Erie-Lacawanna Railroad. He retired after 30 years as a press and sheer operator at Fruehauf Corp. He was a graduate of Brockway High School and attended college. He was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Spencerville, the Chiefs of Police Association in Van Wert and a member and past president of the Railroad Evangelistic Association. He was an avid hunter, wrote poetry and short religious articles and stories of the railroads of our nation, both true and fiction.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Curtis Randolph officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Spencerville Cemetery.

On May 6, 1936, she married Cletus J. Gerding, who preceded her in death May 18, 1987.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy (Gerald) Pohlman, Ruth Miller and Martha (Dennis) Landin of Ottoville; a son, Thomas (Jeannie) Gerding of Wake Forest, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Theresa Gerding of Kalida; a brother, Alfred Hohenbrink of Bluffton; a stepbrother, Gerald Fischer of Kalida; two half-sisters, Rita Kuhlman of Ottawa and Alice Brooker of Phoenix, Ariz.; a half-brother, August 'Donald' Hohenbrink of Ottawa; 18 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Ronald Gerding; three brothers, William, Sylvester and Harry Hohenbrink; a sister, Frances Schwertner; a stepsister, Freda Fortman; and a son-in-law, Howard 'Skip' Miller.
Mrs. Gerding was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, and its Altar Rosary Society.

On Dec. 10, 1936, she married Howard L. Miller, who died in 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Donald (Mary) Miller of Napoleon and Terry (Lana) Miller of Delphos; two daughters, Patty (Robert) Parsons of Delphos and Janet (Paul) Drew of Continental; a sister, Mary Closson of Delphos; a brother, Benjamin Meeks of Middle Point; 20 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Leroy Miller; a daughter, Carol Kent; two brothers, George and Ivan Meeks; three stepbrothers, Frances, William and Walter Nelson; a stepsister, Eileen Ridabaugh; a grandchild, Curtis Miller; two great-grandchildren, Heather and TJ; and special friend Delmer Kohorst.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and had worked at the cigar factory. She was a member of the Delphos Eagles and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post auxiliaries. She enjoyed playing bingo.

She was born May 20, 1913 in Glandorf, to Frank J. and Agnes (Ellerbrock) Birkemeier.
On April 23, 1941, she married Wilfred I. Gerschutz, who preceded her in death Sept. 9, 1995.
Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn A. Bock of Westfield Center, Jeanette (Jim) Broecker of Fort Jennings and Jane (Broderick) Houston of Defiance; a son, Gregory Gerschutz of Lima; a sister, Adelia Wolke of Ottawa; five sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Birkemeier of Glandorf, Rita Birkemeier of Kalida, Dorothy Gerschutz of Toledo, Lollie Gerschutz of Leipsic and Mary Young of Lima; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Gerschutz; two sisters, Loretta Birkemeier and Louisa Hageman; and four brothers, William, Lawrence, Raymond and Clarence Birkemeier.
Mrs. Gerschutz was a homemaker and did domestic work for others. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and it's Altar Rosary Society and the Delphos Senior Citizens. She and her husband moved to Angola, Ind., in 1975 and she returned to Delphos in 1996.

Donald R. Neubrecht, 84, formerly of Van Wert County, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday at Otterbein Cridersville Retirement Community, Cridersville.
He was born July 19, 1919, in Van Wert County, to David and Maude (Richards) Neubrecht.
On Jan. 5, 1944, he married Mary Pauline Haines, who survives in St. Marys.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Phil Mercer officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point.

Harold V. 'Sonny' Moorman
Oct. 18, 1928 - March 11, 2004
Harold V. 'Sonny' Moorman, 75, of rural Spencerville, died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday at the Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville.
He was born Oct. 18, 1928 in Amanda Township, Allen County, to Ernest and Edna (Sherer) Moorman.
On Aug. 20, 1950, he married Lois Whetstone, who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Dr. Gary (Becky) Moorman of Toledo; a daughter, Judy (Donald) Birt of Indianapolis; and three sisters, Mary (Kenneth) Mitchell of Washington, Pa., Trudy (James) Simons of Wapakoneta and Myrna (Harrison) Shutt of Lima.
Moorman was a lifelong farmer and mechanic at implement stores in Delphos and Spencerville, as well as having his own shop at his home. He was a long-time member of the Hartford Christian Church, north of Spencerville, where he had served as Deacon, Trustee, Sunday school teacher and Superintendent. For many years, he was a soloist for funerals, weddings, and sang with the Gospelaries Quartet in the 1960s.
A 1946 graduate of Spencerville High School, he was a member of the Ohio National Guard in Lima and was activated into the Army from 1951-1953, where he was Sergeant in Battery A, 140th Battalion. He served part of his duty at Desert Rock, Nev., where they tested atomic bombs.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Robert King officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford Cemetery.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Cleo B. Brockman
Cleo B. Brockman, 91, of Fort Jennings, died at 8:40 a.m. at Calvary Manor, Glandorf.
He was born July 16, 1912 in Fort Jennings, to Louis and Louise (Rayman) Brockman.
On Sept. 7, 1937, he married Coelestine 'Cis' Minnig, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Gerald (Mona) Brockman of Tampa, Fla., and Thomas Brockman of Kenton; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Brockman; two brothers; and two sisters.
Mr. Brockman was a clerk, assistant postmaster, postmaster and rural carrier with the Fort Jennings Post Office for 36 years. He was a charter member of the Fort Jennings Volunteer Fire Department and lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was also the pitcher for the Delphos Jefferson High School baseball team when they won the state championship in 1931.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, the Rev. Tony Borgia officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fort Jennings.

Clarence W. Thomas, 79, of Van Wert, died at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Nov. 10, 1924 in Wickliffe, to John William and Rosie May (Adams) Thomas.
He was married Nov. 11, 1951 to Helen Louise Smith, who preceded him in death on Sept. 24, 1995.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill, with military graveside rites conducted by combined units of the Van Wert American Legion and VFW Post.

Marcella Jean Schmenk
Marcella Jean Schmenk, 75, of Jonesboro, Ga., formerly of Delphos, died Feb. 27.
She was born April 6, 1928 in Delphos, to Lowell and Ida Foust.
Her husband of 57 years, James Schmenk, survives in Jonesboro.
Other survivors include three children, Pamela Lourens, James Schmenk Jr. and Craig Schmenk; two brothers, Franklin (Frances) Foust and Keith (Betty) Foust; a sister, Phyllis (Richard) Schmenk; a sister-in-law, Jeanine Foust; an uncle, Walter Foster; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Foust.
Mrs. Schmenk was a homemaker and member of the Lioness Club in Ohio. She enjoyed golfing and gardening.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m., March 20, at Hampton United Methodist Chapel, Hampton, Ga.

Opal P. Reynolds
Opal P. Reynolds, 92, of rural Spencerville, died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 5, 1912 in Kemp, to Theodore and Hanna Goldie Miller Reynolds.
Survivors include a son, Paul (Ruthann) Reynolds of Spencerville; a daughter, Gloria Reynolds of Spencerville; a brother, Richard (Phyllis) Reynolds of Spencerville; two sisters, Betty Sever and Bessie Vogt of Delphos; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Orville, Thomas, Russell 'Buss,' and Roger Reynolds.
Ms. Reynolds retired in 1974 from the DWG Cigar Corp., where she wrapped cigars for many years in Delphos and Lima. She was a 1930 graduate of Spencerville High School and a member of the former West Union Church and its Ladies Aid Society. She was also a member of the Teamsters Union Local in Lima.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Robert King officiating. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery, north of Spencerville.

Jeanne Urbine Huri, 59, of Manchester, Conn, formerly of Delphos, died Friday at a convalescent home in Manchester.
She was born Jan. 30, 1945 in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Edwin and Beatrice (Federspeil) Urbine.
She was married for 14 years to Prescott T. Huri, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Prescott T. (Betsey) Huri Jr. and Mark D. Huri of Manchester, Conn., and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Huri was a graduate of St. John's High School and Bowling Green State University. She was a former art teacher for the Hartford Board of Education in Hartford, Conn. She later was employed with Alvin and Company Inc. and Gerber Scientific and Teleco Oil Field Services. For the past five years, she was a communications coordinator for UTC Fuel Cells in South Windsor, Conn.
Funeral services will be noon Friday at South United Methodist Church, 1226 Main St., Manchester. Burial will be private.

Brian Kirk Broaddus

Brian Kirk Broaddus, 61, of Delphos, died Friday at his residence.
He was born July 13, 1942 in Lima, to Margaret (Mulbarger) Broaddus and William Broaddus. His mother survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Amy Lyn (Michael) Malone of Dublin; a sister Dian (Jack) Staup of Lima; and a brother, William (Mary Jane) Broaddus of Brunswick.
He was preceded in death by his father, and an infant brother, Barton Keith Broaddus.
Broaddus worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School in 1960, and was a member of the Delphos Eagles. He served in the Army for 18 months in Okinawa during 1966-67.
Funeral services will be noon Thursday at Harter and Son Memorial Chapel, the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery with military grave rites by the Delphos Veterans Council.

Rema Krouskop, 92, of Spencerville, died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville.
She was born May 10, 1911 in Hancock County, to John S. and Ina L. (Russell) Burrell.
On Sept. 12, 1934, she married Lloyd G. Krouskop, who died Jan. 17, 1986.
Survivors include a son, Linden G. (Colleen) Krouskop of Van Wert; two granddaughters, Laurie (Philip) Zeeff of Van Wert and Lisa Stemen of Convoy; four great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Frankie Stemen and Alexa and Taylor Zeeff.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Blaisdell; and a brother, Ardo Burrell.
Krouskop was a graduate of the Mt. Blanchard High School and graduated from the Youngstown Hospital School of Nurses Training in 1934. She was a registered nurse for Drs. Robert J. Doernberg and William T. Wright for 29 years.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Spencerville, and its Gleaners Sunday School class, the Joy Circle ad the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Spencerville Chapter 130, Order of Eastern Star.
Due to family members being in Hawaii, the funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. March 16 at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Michael Swanton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. March 15 at the funeral home, where an Order of Eastern Star service will be at 8 p.m.

John Petersmeyer

John Petersmeyer, 67, of Delphos, died at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born May 4, 1936, in Riblake, Wis., to Harry Simon and Thelma R. (Warner) Petersmeyer.
He married Linda Cates, who survives in Delphos.
Survivors also include a son, Jeff Petersmeyer of New York, N.Y.; a daughter, Jill (John) Radler of Delphos; a sister Arlove E. (Art) Lund of Cold Springs, Texas; a sister-in-law, Melissa (Larry) McIntosh of Anna, Ill.; 11 nieces and nephews; many special friends and neighbors; and three grandchildren, Jordyn, Johnny and Joshua Radler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father- and mother-in-law, Raymond and Shirley Cates.
Mr. Petersmeyer retired as an engineer from the telephone industry after more than 30 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, YMCA Indian Guides and Princesses, the Delphos Lion Club and the United Methodist Men's Club. He currently served on the Senior Citizens Board. He attended Lane Technical School in Chicago, and Southern Illinois University, studying drafting in Carbondale. He was in the Naval Air Reserves from 1954 to 1960.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Carolyn J. Mulholland Mann, 75, of Spencerville, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 30, 1928 in Allen County, to Carl F. and Cleyla Myers Simindinger.
On Feb. 14, 1981 she married Wesley G. Mann Sr., who survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Dorothy (Paul James) Seibert of Warrenton, Va., and Nancy Kay (Robert) McMichael of Spencerville; two step-sons, Wesley G. Mann Jr. of Lakeview and Kevin Mann of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a step-daughter, Lisa Goodrich of Spencerville; a son-in-law, Richard (Christine) Bacon of White Bear Lake, Minn.; a sister, Mary Kathryn (David) Mann of Spencerville; a sister-in-law, Vivian Simindinger of Ravenden, Ark.; nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Ann Bacon; and a brother, Charles 'Bud' Simindinger.
Mrs. Mann was a 1946 graduate of Spencerville High School and retired in 1984 as an inspector at Ohio Decorative Products, Spencerville, with 28 years of service. She had been a member of the Harry J. Reynolds American Legion Post #191 Auxiliary in Spencerville.

Bernadette E. 'Bernie' Pohlman, 88, of Middle Point, died at 11:59 p.m. Sunday at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born Jan. 22, 1916 in Washington Township, to John C. and Frances P. (Sendelbach) Volk.
She married Theodore A. Pohlman in 1962, who preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1964.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Myers of Middle Point; and nieces and nephews, Gary and Judy Myers of Middle Point, Jane Volk of Jackson, Mich., Ray and Ona Volk of Grover Hill, and Jim and Sharon Volk of Van Wert.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Howard Volk; and a nephew, Robert Volk.
Mrs. Pohlman retired in 1978 from Westinghouse, where she had been employed for 35 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Middle Point Jolly Timers and Westinghouse Veteran Employees Association.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Orians Funeral Home, Delphos. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery.

Harold L. Brinkman

Harold L. Brinkman, 80, of Delphos, died at 8 a.m. Friday at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 4, 1924, near Delphos, to Fred and Hannah (Knebel) Brinkman.
On Sept. 25, 1948, he married Mildred 'Mutz' Rayman, who survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Rick (Joyce) Brinkman, Randy (Lin) Brinkman and Jeff (Lynette) Brinkman, all of Delphos; a brother, Eugene (Virginia) Brinkman of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Michelle (Chad) Karhoff, Julie (David) Teman, Sandy Brinkman, Jason Brinkman, Kelly Brinkman, Dylan Brinkman and Lauren Brinkman; and five great-grandchildren, Damian, Syndal and Reece Karhoff, Alexis Teman and Aubrey Brinkman.
He was preceded in death by son, Terry L. Brinkman; a sister, Gertrude Byrne; and grandson, Scott Brinkman.
Mr. Brinkman was a retired engineer for the Norfolk and Southern Railway, where he was employed for 32 years. In 1962, he established Brinkman Radiator Repair, which he operated for 40 years and is still in operation today.
He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #471, and a social member of V.F.W. Post 3035, all of Delphos. He was a NASCAR fan.
Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John Catholic Church, the Rev. Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial followed in Resurrection Cemetery, Delphos.
Preferred memorials are to the St. John's playground fund.
