Richard O. Robinson Sr., 76, of St. Marys, died 7:15 p.m. Friday at his residence.
He was born Jan. 20, 1926 in Delphos, to Jesse and Rose (Dolt) Robinson.
He first married Frances Brinkman, who preceded him in death March 24, 1984. He then married Hazel Raymond, who survives in St. Marys.
Survivors also include four daughters, Beverly (Tony) Phillips of Wapakoneta, Patricia (Ira) Connell of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kathleen (Tim) Keiber and Sandra (Larry) Thobe of St. Marys; two sons, Richard (Karen) Robinson Jr. and Eric (Heidi) Robinson of Delphos; a stepson, Tim (Sheri) Raymond of Coldwater; two stepdaughters, Patti (Jim) Eyink of Coldwater and Jennifer (Bruce) Monnin of Russia; a brother, Donald Robinson of Delphos; a sister, Florence Aldrich of Toledo; 25 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Alvin and John Robinson.
Mr. Robinson was retired from Fruehauf Corp., where he had been a painter for more than 40 years. He then worked as a security guard at Roundy’s in Lima. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. He loved woodworking, refinishing furniture and hunting.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. John Spyker officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Deloris Faye McKinney

Deloris Faye McKinney, 61, of Lima, died 10:30 a.m. Saturday at her residence.
She was born Jan. 4, 1941, in Lima to Robert and Emma (Eugene Goetz) Mull.
On April 19, 1959, she married Thomas H. McKinney, who survives in Lima.
Other survivors include two sons, Tim S. (Mary) McKinney of Lima and Jon D. McKinney; a daughter, Traci (Mike) Richards of Wapakoneta; three sisters, Shirley (Dennis) Fairburn, Mary Patterson and Linda (Brian) Cook of Lima; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. McKinney retried from Ford Motor Co. Engine Plant, She was a member of the Lima Eagles Aerie 370 Auxiliary, Lima Elks Lodge and the Goldwing Touring Association. She loved motorcycling, bingo and gambling.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, the Rev. Greta Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill, New Hampshire.

H. David Stephenson Jr., 55, of Middle Point, died 3:51 p.m. Friday at Van Wert County Hospital.
He was born Aug. 9, 1947, in Charlevoix, Mich., to Harold D. and Ruth (Slate) Stephenson Sr. His mother survives in Middle Point.
Other survivors include two nephews, two great-nephews, a great niece and a brother, Harry (Chris) Stephenson of Middle Point.
Mr. Stephenson was a member of the Salvation Army in Van Wert and enjoyed gardening, lawn work and nature.
A celebration of life will be noon Friday at the Salvation Army in Van Wert, the Capt. Pat Ward officiating.
There is no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are to the Salvation Army.
Lawrence E. Bockrath

Lawrence Elmer Bockrath, 85, of Columbus Grove, died 7:40 a.m. Sunday at his residence.
He was born Jan. 8, 1917 in Kalida, to Louis and Philamena (Schmitz) Bockrath.
On Feb. 11, 1942, he married Mary Lucille Kleman, who survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Robert Louis (Becky) Bockrath of Prescott, Ariz., Eugene Thomas (Emma) Bockrath of Colorado Springs, Colo., Michael Joseph (Peg) Bockrath of Norwalk, and Gary Edward (Deb) Bockrath of Hagerstown, Md.; a daughter, Barbara Ann (Jim) Lane of Silver City, N.M.; three sisters, Agnes (Alex) Edelbrock and Clara (Arnold) Kahle of Kalida and Alvera (Irvin) Bowersock of Columbus Grove; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three children and two sisters, Florence Schneeg and Velma McCartney.
Mr. Bockrath was self-employed at Bockrath Surge Sales and Service and later retired from Scot Lad Foods. He was also a retired member of the Columbus Grove Volunteer Fire Department after 40 years of service. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, and the Knights of Columbus Council 9788.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the Rev. Keith J. McCormack officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, where a Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 8 p.m.

Alexander J. Grogg
Alexander J. Grogg, newborn, died Sept. 25 at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. He was born Sept. 25 at the hospital to James A. and Jenny (Vogt) Grogg of Blanchester.
Survivors include two brothers, Nicholes and Matthew Grogg at home.
Other survivors include paternal grandparents, Judie and Jerry Grogg of Delphos, and maternal grandparents, Anita and Larry Topp of Delphos.
He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, John Vogt.
Graveside services will be held today at noon at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Pastor McNellan Nicholson officiating.
Ruth Marie Schneider

Ruth Marie Schneider, 70, of Van Wert, died 6:43 a.m. Friday at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born Oct. 31, 1931 to Raymond and Hazel Marie (Copsey) Phlipot.
She married Fred Schneider, who died Dec. 16, 2001.
Survivors include three daughters, Diana (James) Ohlrich of Dreshler, Joan (Greg) Germann of Van Wert, and Rose Marie (Danny) VanWynsberghe of Key West, Fla.; a son, Carl (Lisa) Schneider of Perrysburg; three brothers, Harold (Dorothy) Phlipot, Earl (Jeannie) Phlipot and Jerry (Margaret) Phlipot of Paulding; two sisters, Laura Pease of Paulding and Dorothy (Bill) Alt of Gahanna; two half-sisters, Helen Coil of Traverse City, Mich., and Christine (Roman) Laker of Cecil; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Phlipot of Paulding; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Phlipot and an infant brother; a sister, Mabel Phlipot and a half-brother, Lawrence Phlipot.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Van Wert, and its altar rosary society. She was active in the church and worked for many years for the St. Mary’s school bingo. She also belonged to the Lincolnview Athletic Boosters.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, the Rev. Joseph Schmelzer officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point.

Ralph G. Trentman, 63, of Landeck, died 11:50 a.m. Sept. 20 at Lima Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born April 1, 1939, in Spencerville to Lawrence O. and Mary Agatha (Ebbeskotte) Trentman. His mother survives in Delphos.
Survivors include four sisters, Alice (Robert) Hilvers of Ottoville, Jane (George) Schwinnen and Ann Warnecke of Delphos, and Norma (Ron) Wolke of Ottawa; 11 nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces.
Mr. Trentman drove truck for Schneider Trucking and had previously driven for Suever Stone Quarries, D&D Ingredients and J&P Trucking. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Landeck, and Knights of Columbus Council 1362.

Mary Agatha Trentman, 90, of Landeck, died 1:45 a.m. Friday at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville.
She was born June 24, 1912 in Fort Jennings, to Joseph and Theresia Johanna (Stegeman) Ebbeskotte.
On April 20, 1938, she married Lawrence O. Trentman, who died Feb. 6, 1972.
Survivors include four daughters, Alice (Robert) Hilvers of Ottoville, Jane (George) Schwinnen and Ann Warnecke of Delphos and Norma (Ron) Wolke of Ottawa; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ralph G. Trentman; three brothers, Everett, James and Melvin Ebbeskotte; three sisters, Martha and Angelica Ebbeskotte and Sally Kaverman; and her stepmother, Anna German Saum.
Mrs. Trentman was a homemaker and self-employed seamstress, making many wedding and attendants gowns. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Landeck, and its Altar Rosary Society. She was a 1929 graduate of Ottoville High School.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Rev. John Fleck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Sunday at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Orians Funeral Home, Delphos, where a parish wake will be at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Pamela Jean Gunnell, 54, formerly of Van Wert, died Wednesday at her residence in Lakeland, Fla.
She was born Sept. 23, 1948, in Kokomo, Ind., to Oscar E. and Crystal (Rowland) Abney.
She married Richard Gunnell, who survives in Florida.
Other survivors include two daughters, Teena George of Tampa, Fla., and Starla Freshman of Lakeland; a sister, Nancy Gilbert of Pas Christiana, Miss.; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Gunnell was a self-employed certified public accountant.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Van Wert, the Rev. Dr. Edward Jillson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.

Velma A. Conrad, 91, of Cairo, died 12:20 p.m. Thursday at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.
She was born June 13, 1911 in Columbus Grove, to Ezra and Elvina (Hilty) Bucher.
She had been married to Sidney Herr. On June 26, 1960, she married Verral Conrad, who died in 1980.
Survivors include five daughters, Jan (Roger) Basinger of Pandora, Jeannine (Brooks) May of Delphos, Joyce (Howard) Bowman of Lima, Johanne (Ernie) Coleson of Anderson, Ind., and Janelle (Leon) Hayes of Elida; a stepson, David (Nancy) Conrad of Indiana; three brothers, Veland (Thelma) Bucher of Pandora, Vinton (Gerry) Bucher of Bluffton and Victor (Lucille) Bucher of Columbus Grove; two sisters, Vidella (Leon) Schey of Leipsic and Vera Diller of Defiance; 12 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Verena Schumacher and Viola and Veldine Bucher; and a brother, Vernon Bucher.
Mrs. Conrad had worked at Federal Bake Shop in Lima as a cake decorator, then as a kitchen coordinator at Lima Best Western. She was a member of Cairo United Church of Christ and the Cairo Lions Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting and working with flowers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, the Rev. Gordon Kleiner officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

Clarence P. Art, 93, of Celina, died 3:50 a.m. Wednesday at The Gardens in Celina.
He was born Dec. 11, 1908, in Cincinnati to John Bernard and Anna (Winklejohn) Art.
On July 19, 1932, he married Emma Lee Pulskamp, who died March, 15, 2001.
Survivors include two sons, C. Bernard (Jocelyn) Art of New Bremen and Kenneth E. Art of Celina; five daughters, Rosmarie (Jerry) Amato and Patricia Hoyng of Celina, Dorothy Lee (Jerry) Backus of Delphos, Kathleen (Charles) Gorsuch of Hendersonville, N.C., and Georgiann (William) Nungester of Spencerville; 23 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Art.
Mr. Art had worked as a letter carrier at the Celina Post Office for 36 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 1800 of Celina and Rural Letter Carriers of America. He was a 1927 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Celina.

She was born Sept. 24, 1916, in Fort Jennings to George and Agnes Brenner.
In 1939, she married Alfred Sellet, who died in 1991.
Survivors include three sons, Jack, Dick and Bob Sellet.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dan Sellet.
Mr. and Mrs. Sellet had owned and operated a service station in Ottoville many years ago.
Services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Winter Haven.
L. Lucille Kimmey

L. Lucille Kimmey, 88, of Middle Point, died 9:55 a.m. Wednesday at Vancrest Health Care Center.
She was born March 10, 1914, in Hudson, Mich., to Ralph and Mae (Head) Emmons.
In December 1931, she married Ronald Kimmey, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Dwaine (Shirley) Kimmey of Middle Point, and Dennis Kimmey of Convoy; two daughters, Wanda (Art) Brown and Bonnie (Marcus) Taylor of Middle Point; a sister, Martha (James) Smalley of Paulding; a brother, Byrl (Alnore) Emmons of Stanton, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Brown.
Mrs. Kimmey was a homemaker. She was a member of New Beginning Church, Fort Wayne, and attended Grover Hill High School.

Ruth E. Fox, 91, of Lima, died 10:56 p.m. Saturday at Cridersville Health Care Center.
She was born June 11, 1911, near Ohio City, to Lewis Phillip and Bertha (Shook) Hoverman.
On Aug. 8, 1928, she married Gailen Edward Fought, who died Dec. 27, 1965. She then married Ortho L. Fox Sr. on June 11, 1966, who died Dec. 13, 1996.
Survivors include a stepson, Ortho (Jean) Fox Jr. of Lima; 10 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Beverly Ann Gonzales; three brothers, Merl, Elmer and Lester Hoverman; and a sister, Velma Mae Simpson.
Mrs. Fox was a homemaker and a clerk at Albers Grocery. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Shawnee Grange, Lima Area Smiling Sams and Ohio Steel Retirees Club.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, the Rev. Darrell Fox officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Betty I. Green, 81, of Columbus Grove, died 2:20 a.m. Saturday at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.
She was born July 16, 1921, in Ohio City, to Morven Asa and Bertha Rosette (Koehler) Newton.
On July 20, 1940, she married Marvin Earl Ross, who died in January 1954; She then married Rufus Magateaux, who died in 1994. She then married Hubert Green, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Marvin Earl (Betty) Ross of Elida, Ronald Craig (Linda) Ross of Mansfield and Joseph Andrew (Chris) Green of Lima; two daughters, Janet Elaine (David) Johnson of Dublin and Karen Sue (Ronald) Grabianowski of Antwerp; a sister, Dorthea (Eugene) Mathias of Columbus; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and long-time companion Glady Klink.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Emerson Ross; three brothers, Loren, Dennis and Robert Newton; and three sisters, Mary Sheppard, Ruth Cottrell and Esta Gillen.
Mrs. Green had worked at Westinghouse Electric in Lima, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Columbus Grove Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 in Lima. She enjoyed salmon fishing, knitting and crocheting and was an avid gardener and bowler and belonged to the 600 club in Lima.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, the Rev. Larry Blunden officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima.

Isabelle Dangler, 88, of Van Wert, died 12:13 p.m. Thursday at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born Oct. 20, 1913, in Van Wert to Howard and Myrtle (Schultz) Kiggins.
On Feb. 23, 1943, she married Chester P. Dangler, who died April 16, 1968.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene (John) Fulk of Ohio City; two sons, Roger (Marcie) Dangler of Van Wert and Paul (Della) Dangler of rural Van Wert; a stepson, Harold (Joyce) Dangler of Bryan; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death b y two sons, Robert and David Hartman; a stepson, Robert Dangler; a brother, Gene Kiggins; and two granddaughters, Paula Ann Dangler and Kimberly Kay Bowersock.
Mrs. Dangler had been employed as a domestic for many years in several Van Wert hotels.
She was a former member of the Van Wert Eagles Auxiliary and Council on Aging and had attended Trinity Friends Church.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. John F. Perkins officiating. Burial will be Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.

She was born Jan. 2, 1916, in Van Wert County to Omer and Ada (Shook) Sites.
On May 2, 1936, she married Julius V. “Jud” Winhover, who died Dec. 15, 1981.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Delbert) Harding of Willshire and Gayle (Denny) Gibbons of Rockford; a brother, James Sites of Spencerville; seven grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Winhover; three brothers, Kenny, Leon and Omer Jr. Sites; two sisters, Violet Lamb and Dorothy Gerke; and a grandchild.
Mrs. Winhover had worked at National Seal Corp. and retired in 1970 from Van Wert Manufacturing Company in Van Wert. She was a member of Trinity Friends Church, the Van Wert Eagles Lodge Auxiliary and served for many years on the Van Wert Board of Elections.

On Jan. 20, 1968, she married Larry W. Pollock, who died Sept. 13, 1995.
Survivors include a son, Charles (Kimberly) Pollock of Ohio City; a daughter, Jodi (boyfriend Rob Myers) Pollock of Van Wert; three brothers, Philip Benner of Church, Va., and Douglas (Robbin) Benner and David (Agnes) Benner of Van Wert; three sisters, Christine (Tom) Stutz of Delphos and Debra K. Benner and Bonnie (Paul) Coburn of Van Wert; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Baucom.

He was born Jan. 15, 1909, in Convoy, to Albert and Elizabeth (Friedly) Pancake.
On Dec. 9, 1945, he married Viola L. Moll, who died March 31, 2002.
Survivors include a son, Leon (Carolyn) Pancake of Celina; two daughters, Loren Pancake of Van Wert and Lynette (Daniel) Asher of Fort Wayne; a sister, Edith Lyons of Convoy; four grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Pancake had worked at Drake’s Hardware in Convoy and Continental Can in Van Wert. For many years he also sold and repaired bicycles. He was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church, Van Wert. He was a member of the Convoy American Legion and Grange and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gearhart, Mack and Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy, the Rev. Raymond Feeck officiating. Burial will be in Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with military graveside services conducted.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to Convoy American Legion or Calvary Evangelical Church.

Evelyn M. Ricker, 95, of Fort Jennings, died 12:35 a.m. Tuesday at Vancrest Health Care Center.
She was born July 7, 1907, in Delphos to Ben and Josephine (Saum) Knippen.
On May 17, 1933, she married Felix J. Ricker, who died April 25, 1977.
Survivors include six daughters, Jo Evelyn (Tom) Schwaiger of Napoleon, Beatrice (Robert) Geise and Alma Jean Schroeder of Fort Jennings, Arlene Ricker of Edmond, Okla., LaDonna (Vincent) Schimmoller of Sanford, N.C., and Vera (Lowell) Gossard of Delphos; a brother, Norman Knippen of Delphos; a sister, Marcella Wallenhorst of Middle Point; 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Miller and Mildred and Bridget Knippen; a brother, Sylvester Knippen; a grandson, David Geise; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Schroeder.
Mrs. Ricker had helped families with newborn children and helped her husband farm. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Jennings, and loved to crochet and play cards.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Tony Borgia officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call 2-9 p.m. Thursday at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Orians Funeral Home, Delphos, where a parish wake will be at 3 p.m.
