James L.C. Watts died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at the Lady of Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati.
L.C. is survived by his wife, Lillian; two daughters, Carol Winfield and Sarah Hill; five grandchildren, Kevin (Portia) Watts, Denise Colson, Elrondo Colson, Daniel Colson and Devin Hill; six great-grandchildren, Tya, Chassidy, Skylar, Kevin Scott, E.J. and Blake; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 1998, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 North Riverside Dr., in Loveland. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the chapel.
Chalmer H. Wheeler
MIDDLETOWN - Chalmer H. Wheeler, 77, of 1406 Woodlawn Ave., died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at Middletown Regional Hospital.
He was born Aug. 11, 1920 in Morgan County, Ky., the son of Cash Wheeler and Mary (Lewis) Wheeler.
Mr. Wheeler was a real estate broker for his company, Chal Wheeler Real Estate, and retired in 1996. He was a member of the Middletown Board of Realtors and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Sue Reed of Fort Myers, Fla.; a son, David Wheeler of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Leslie Dampier and Michael Reed; a greatgranddaughter, Kaitlyn Dampier; a sister, Beulah Hipps of Charlotte, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Zora Wheeler; and a brother, Carl Wheeler.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Hartman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time on Monday. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.

Darrell L. Williams
Darrell Lee Williams, 55, of 3210 Navaho St., died Thursday, June 18, 1998, at his residence.
He was born in Middletown on Oct. 13, 1942, the son of Berry Williams and Reba (Melton) Williams. Mr. Williams was retired from Armco/AK Steel Co. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles lodges and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry D. Williams of Middletown and Ensign Eric Lee (wife Ferna Eva) Williams, USN, of Seattle, Wash.; a daughter, Nichole Ruth Roberson of Middletown; a brother and sister-in-law, R.B. and Clara Sue Williams of Monroe; and two grandsons, Jeremy Williams and Quinton Eric Wilªliams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lovie Olean Riley; and two brothers, Junior Williams and Hugh Odell Williams.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Woodside Cemetery, with Chaplain Bob Brehm officiating. Burial will be at the cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post 218 Color Guard.

Maxine Williams
Maxine Williams, 79, of Middletown, died Saturday, July 11, 1998.
She was born on July 21, 1918, in Jamestown, Tenn., the daughter of Dillard Wright and Mary Ellen Smith Wright.
She is survived by daughters Sue Sorrell, and her husband, Dale, of Bolingbroke, Ga., Pat Fulmer, and her husband, Mike, of Middletown; three grandchildren, the Rev. Jeffrey Fulmer, Tina Fulmer, and Brad Sorrell; brothers, Don Wright, of Jamestown, Tenn., and Ruble Wright, of Kingston, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dillard and Mary Ellen Wright; husband, Ray Williams (June 26, 1983); brothers, Ralph, Carl and Jack Wright; sisters, Loma Laxton and Hazel Laxton.
She was a member of the McAlpin's Retirees. She retired from McAlpin's in Kenwood in 1980. She formerly worked at McAlpin's on Breiel Boulevard in Middletown.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with her grandson, the Rev. Jeffrey Fulmer, from the Church of the Assumption in Mount Healthy, officiating. Interment will be in the Woodside Mausoleum.

Roy Williams Sr.
Roy B. Williams Sr., 72, of Middletown, died Tuesday, July 7, 1998, at Middletown Regional Hospital.
He was born on April 27, 1926, in Booneville, Ky., to Cantley and Vada (McIntosh) Williams.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and worked for Bob's Trucking Service for 35 years. He retired in 1992 and was a member of the Teamsters No. 936.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cantley Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Wheeler Williams, of Middletown; two sons, Gary B. Williams, and his wife, Barbara, of Booneville, Ky., and Roy B. Williams Jr., and his wife, Brenda, of Auburn, Ga.; a grandson, Gary Wayne Williams, of Booneville, Ky.; mother, Vada Williams, of Jamestown; a brother, James Earl Williams, and his wife, Louise, of Jamestown; and a sister, Mary Catherine Barton, and her husband, A.T., of Farmersville.

Sylvia E. Winegar
MIDDLETOWN - Sylvia Ethel Winegar, 99, of Middletown, died at her residence Friday, June 12, 1988.
She was born in Mount Ayr, Ind., and came to Middletown five years ago to live with her son, William A. Winegar, and his wife, Marion. She had lived in Flint, Mich., for 74 years prior to moving.
She worked at Marvel Carburetor in the accounts receivable department in Flint for 16 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon A. Winegar; a son, James, in 1973; a granddaughter, Melissa, in 1970; and 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, William A. Winegar, and his wife Marion; a granddaughter, Julie Tyson, of Dayton; and a son-in-law, Robert Tyson, of Dayton.
Visitation is Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Flint, Mich. Funeral services are Wednesday at the Oak Park Methodist Church in Flint.
Funeral arrangements are being handled locally by the Joseph Baker-Stevens Funeral Home.
John Workman Sr.
John Thomas Workman Sr., 54, of Middletown, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at Middletown Regional Hospital.
He was born in Catlettsburg, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1943, and lived in this area for 25 years. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War era. Mr. Workman retired in 1985. He had been employed as a laborer for 12 years with Laborer's Local 534.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 501, and American Legion Post 218, both of Middletown.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Danny Miller of Middletown; a son, John Thomas Workman Jr. of Ironton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Daniel Ian Miller and Aaron and Ashley Workman; a sister, Kay Hughes of Ashland, Ky.; two brothers, Charles Workman of Ashland and James Workman of Ceredo, W.Va.; his fiance, Donna O'Doll of Middletown; three nephews, Jamie, Tony and Mark Workman; and a niece, Kristi Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Fredia (Sloan) Workman.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Joseph Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton. Military rites will be conducted at graveside by the American Legion Post 218 Color Guard.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Estella (Hobbs) Wright
Estella (Hobbs) Wright, of Hamilton, died July 10, 1998.
She was the beloved wife of the late Lewis H. Wright; devoted mother of Clyde Edward, Lewis Jr., Ethel Lorene Simpson, Bonnie Copeland, Jerry Wayne, Arthur Eugene, Irma Hoffman, Perry Winton, Larry Michael Wright, the late Carl Wendel Wright, and five other infant children. She was the loving sister of Ethel Southerland, Nannie May Wilson, Nettie Profitt, and Betty Ware.
She also is survived by 54 grandchildren, 115 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Shorten & Ryan Funeral Home in West Chester. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Butler County Memorial Park.

Martha B. Webb
Mrs. Martha B. Webb, 95, of Middletown, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at Barbara Parke Convalescent Center.
She was born on Jan. 8, 1904, in Rockcastle County, Ky., the daughter of David Webb and Malvina (Overbey) Webb. Mrs. Webb worked in the alterations department of the Central Store in Middletown and was a member of Truth Tabernacle Church.
She is survived by a sister, Mary McKinney of Brodhead, Ky.; a brother, Roscoe Webb of Brodhead, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and several brothers and sisters.

Charles L. Wesco
Charles L. "Cotty" Wesco, 80, of Middletown, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999 at 2710 Goldman Ave.
He was born on Jan. 24, 1918 in Miltonville to William and Alberta Scholl Wesco.
He was a Army veteran of WWII and a member of American Legion Post No. 218. He was also a member of the Middletown Sportsman's Club and Armco Retiree Association. He was a foreman at Armco Steel in West Processing-Finishing for 38 years.
He is survived by a son, Darryl Wesco, and his wife, Jane, of West Chester; daughters, Sandra L. Megowen, of Terrace Park, and Vikki G. Williamson, and her husband, Charles, of Allen, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Mildred Martin, of Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lora E. Wesco, on Jan. 10, 1997; and his parents, William and Alberta Wesco.

Helen West
Mrs. Helen West, 85, of Middletown, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, at Mercy Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1913, in Middletown, the daughter of Robert B. Webb and Maude (Forster) Webb. She was employed as a secretary at Armco Steel Co. and also as a receptionist for dentists' offices in Middletown. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. West is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and John Dare of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Connie West of Cincinnati; three grandchildren, James Dare of Rutgers University, N.J., and Megan West and Craig West, both of Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred West, in 1976; a sister, Ruth Webb in 1990; and her parents.

Leola Whitehead

Mrs. Whitehead died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, in Morristown, Tenn., at the home of her son, Fred Whitehead, with whom she had been visiting.
A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Mrs. Whitehead was hired by Middletown City Schools as an elementary teacher. She retired from teaching in 1970, having spent most of her teaching career as a third-grade teacher at Central Elementary School.
Mrs. Whitehead was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church, where she met her husband, Charles Clifton Whitehead, who preceded her in death in 1972. In addition to her local church activities, Mrs. Whitehead served at the church's district level as secretary of United Methodist Women, and was a representative of the local church for Church Women United.
Other organizations of which Mrs. Whitehead was an active member include Delta Kappa Gamma, Middletown Retired Teachers Association, Pythian Sisters, Salvation Army Auxiliary, AAUW, and the Middletown Historical Society.
She is survived by two sons, John E. of Camas, Wash., and Charles F. of Morristown, Tenn.; two daughters and their husbands, Sidne and Justin Martin of Sylacauga, Ala., and Linda and Paul Lucarello of Middletown, with whom she had maintained her permanent residence for several years. Other survivors include seven grandchildren and their spouses, five great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.
Virginia N. Williams
Virginia N. Williams, 89, of 2811 Wilbraham Road, died at Middletown Regional Hospital Sunday morning. She was born October 7, 1909, in Middletown, the daughter of Charles and Stella Brelsford Marts.
She had lived in Lorain, Ohio, from 1954 until 1974, where she was employed as a seamstress for a department store. She returned to Middletown after the death of her husband, Woodrow Williams, in 1974.
She was a member of the Middletown Historical Society. She was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Grand American Trap Shoot at Vandalia, Ohio.
She is survived by a stepson and his wife, Thomas and Linda Williams of Somerset, Ky.; nephews and their wives Ronald and Joyce Williams of Middletown, Todd and Trish Williams of Cincinnati, David and Kate Williams of Richmond, Ky. and Ted and Anne Williams of Skanealeles, New York; and nieces and their husbands Jennifer and Darren Cottle of Dayton and Betty and George Berkley of Middletown.

Robert M. Wilson, M.D.
Robert M. Wilson, M.D., 90, of 1611 Schirm Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Garden Manor Extended Care Center.
He was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on July 8, 1908, the youngest of four children born to George P. and Margaret Clare (Davis) Wilson. He had lived in the Middletown area since 1944.
Dr. Wilson was a faithful member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension. He served on various committees and commissions at the local parish and with the diocese.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and in 1992, by his wife, Ruth Eleanor (Prine) Wilson, to whom he had been married for more than 50 years.
He is survived by two children, Robert M. Wilson Jr., and his wife, Monica, of Middletown, and Prudence W. Miller, and her husband, Roger P., of Port Aransas, Texas; four grandchildren, Margaret L. Wilson of San Antonio, Texas, and Robert M. Wilson, III., J. Christian Wilson and James A.W. Wilson, all of Middletown.
After graduating from Steubenville High School, Dr. Wilson worked for five years as a laborer at the Weirton Steel Co. in Weirton, W.Va., to earn money necessary to attend college. He received his bachelor of science and doctor of medicine degrees from Ohio State University in 1940, serving his internship at Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He completed advanced studies in dermatology and anesthesia at the University of Chicago and the University of Cincinnati respectively. He worked at the Ohio Hospital for Epileptics in Gallipolis, Ohio, before being drafted into the Armed Forces.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army Medical Corps, being attached to the 432nd Anti-Aircraft Battalion, 90th Division. He was a graduate of the U.S. Army Chemical Warfare School at Fort George Gordon Meade, Md., and was on the staff of the U.S. Army Hospital at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
After being discharged from the Army, he moved to Franklin, Ohio, where he opened a private practice. He then moved to Middletown and was medical director of the American Rolling Mill Co. (Armco Steel Corp.) for two years before opening an office in the Castell Building, where he practiced general medicine. He later specialized in anesthesia, moving his offices to 2311 Central Ave. until his retirement in 1982.
Dr. Wilson was president of the medical staff of the Middletown Hospital Association from 1959 to 1961 and served as chief of the Department of Anesthesia. He was on the staff of the Children's Hospital and Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He lectured at the University of Cincinnati and Miami University and served on the Ohio State Medical Board. He was staff physician for the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America and received the Silver Beaver Award. He served as city doctor for the City of Middletown. He was vice-chairman of the Selective Service Board; member of the American Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Association, the Butler County Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Geriatrics Society, and the American Legion Post 218.
He and his wife served on the Charity Ball Committee and were active in Merry Married Mixers and Pan-Hellenic. He was a founding member of Brown's Run Country Club, a member of the Society of St. David in Cincinnati, a life member and Chevalier of Trinity Chapter, International Order of DeMolay in Steubenville, Phi Chi Medical Fraternity; and various other organizations.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Eucharist in thanksgiving for his life will be held at 12 o'clock noon on Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Church of the Ascension, with the Rev. Walter J. Mycoff officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home.

Richard M. Wilson
Richard M. Wilson, 65, of 4216 Nelson Road, Middletown, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999, at Middletown Regional Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 9, 1933, in Ford Hospital, Detroit, Mich., to Murray B. and Marguerite Sauer Wilson. He was a graduate of Oakwood High School in Dayton, Ohio, and Miami University in Oxford. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1954 to 1956.
Mr. Wilson was secretary of Rathman Troup Furniture Co. for 10 years; a stockbroker and financial planner with Shearson Lehman Brothers for 11 years; and retired from Bank One, Dayton, Investment Services Division, in 1989.
He was active in Ducks Unlimited on local, regional and state levels since 1980. He served as treasurer, sponsor chairman for the local chapter, zone chairman for Butler, Preble and Warren counties and was district chairman for all of southwestern Ohio. In 1997, he became a life sponsor for Ducks Unlimited.
A former tennis player, Mr. Wilson was able to play golf until early summer at Browns Run County Club. However, his love of hunting continued although he was hospitalized on Dec. 23. But through the efforts of the local Ducks Unlimited committee members who cared enough, they made it possible for him to continue hunting. Over Thanksgiving, he was able to go deep sea fishing with his daughter and son-in-law at Hilton Head, catching a 44-inch long fish.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Beth Ann Rathman Wilson; his son, Murray Rathman Wilson, wife Amy, and their son, Andrew, of Cold Spring, Ky.; and his daughter, Wendy Leigh Wilson, and her husband, Stan Mambort, of Cincinnati.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be at the Church of the Ascension at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, with burial of cremains following at Woodside Cemetery.

Charles Withers
MIDDLETOWN - Charles (Gentry) Withers, 77, a lifelong resident of Middletown, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Middletown Regional Hospital.
He was born in Middletown on June 15, 1921, a son of Charles and Ollie (Warmouth) Withers. He served in the Navy during World War II and served in the "Three C's" (the Civilian Conservation Corps).
Mr. Withers retired from Square D in 1983, following 43 years of service. He loved gardening and fishing. He held the Ohio state record for the largest striped bass caught at Grand Lake St. Mary's in 1974. He belonged to the Jefferson Masonic Lodge No. 90, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3809, the Fraternal Order of Orioles, American Legion Post 218, and Eagles Lodge No. 528.
He is survived by his wife, Bea. the would have celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 12. Charlie and Bea have two children, a son, Billy of Middletown, and a daughter, Beth of Holly Hill, Fla.; two grandsons, Jason (wife, Amy) Wilthers and Dallas Mobbs. He is also survived by two sisters, Sarah Wilson of Largo, Fla., and Imo Gene Withers of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by three brothers, Woodrow, William and Gerald.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodside Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Gene Leiter officiating. Friends may call at the chapel, one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home.

Rev. John Wolfe
Former Franklin resident the Rev. John "Kenneth" Wolfe, 83, of Akron, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, after an extended illness.
Born in Racine, Ohio, he was the son of William and Bertha (Burns) Wolfe. He served the Lord for more than 50 years in the areas of Akron, Ironton and East Liverpool. Rev. Wolfe served as state youth director for the Church of God in Ohio for one year. For recreational times, he liked building homes in the area of Franklin, Ohio, where he had former residence.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Pearl; several nieces and nephews; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
The family wishes to express their special thanks to Alter Care of Hartville for their compassion and loving care, Country Lawn of Navarre, "an Alter Care Home," and Wood Glen of Dayton; and a very special thanks to Jo A. Fry of Franklin.

Rev. John T. Wriggins
The Rev. John T. Wriggins, 99, left his earthly body to go to his heavenly home with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on Thursday morning, Dec. 17, 1998, almost 10 years after his precious wife, Madeline, went to heaven on Dec. 24, 1988.
He was born on Nov. 1, 1899, the son of Charles Wriggins and Minnie Trevithick Wriggins. He graduated from Maryville (Tenn.) College in 1928 and from Princeton (N.J.) Theological Seminary in 1931. He was ordained a Presbyterian minister in the fall of 1931.
After pastoring three churches for five years simultaneously -- Allentown Pennsylvania Westminster Presbyterian, Fullerton First Presbyterian and Hockendauqua Presbyterian Church -- he attended Yale University divinity school where he took all necessary courses for his doctorate in Christian education.
From 1939 to 1953, he pastored First Presbyterian Church of Shortsville, N.Y. He still received letters from precious church members there as well as other churches and had sent yearly Christmas letters and pictures to them. From 1953 to 1961, he pastored Bremen (Ohio) Bethel Presbyterian Church. He moved to Ohio because of the birth of his grandson, L. Daniel Richmond, on June 8, 1952, his first grandchild.
From 1961 to 1965, he pastored Fredericktown (Ohio) Presbyterian Church. From 1965 to 1967, he lived with his daughter, Dr. Aimee M. Richmond, and three grandchildren, Daniel, Julia and Eileen, in Middletown, Ohio, where he did preaching at various churches. He finally accepted the call, which he believed to be God's will, for him to pastor Jamestown (Ohio) Presbyterian Church from 1967 to Jan. 1, 1981, at which time he retired.
During the 14 years in Jamestown, he was also a Scoutmaster and had 13 boys attain the rank of Eagle Scout under his training. He had received the coveted Wood Badge award and the Silver Beaver award in Scouting. He returned to live with his daughter and sang in the Presbyterian Church choir until 1992 and taught classes for a time. For the last four years, he has been a resident of Willow Knoll Retirement Community, where he has received much loving, tender care.
Rev. Wriggins is survived by a daughter, Dr. Aimee M. Richmond of Middletown; three grandchildren, L. Daniel Richmond, Julia M. Richmond (husband Paul) Doerfler and Eileen C. Richmond; six great-grandchildren, Anna, Abraham, Martha, Ruth and Elijah Doerfler, and Jared Richmond; two nephews; two nieces; and many cousins and other relatives.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Middletown, 2910 Central Ave., Middletown, Ohio, with the Rev. Robert J. Weingartner officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home.

Dixie Willis
GERMANTOWN -- Mrs. Dixie Willis, 81, of Germantown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998.
She was born on March 10, 1917, in Pike County, Ky., and was a member of Heavenly Highway Tabernacle in Middletown.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Wesley Willis; two daughters, Fayetta (Larry) Heller and Myrtle (Carson) Cole, both of Germantown; two sons, Roy Lee (Ruth Ann) Bartley of Moraine and Donald B. "Johnny'' (Marguerite) Owens of Germantown; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Young of Virginia and Pearl Gibson of Kentucky; four brothers, Billy Joe and Curt Branham, both of Virginia, and Carl and David Branham, both of Kentucky.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Dalton Funeral Home, Ohio 4 at Weaver Road, Germantown, where the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Bill Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Ethel Wilson
MIDDLETOWN - Ethel Wilson, 91, of Middletown died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, at the Hawthorn Glen Nursing Home.
She was born in Monticello, Ky., Dec. 27, 1906.
A member of the Middletown community since 1942, Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker. She was a member of the Trenton Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years the Rev. Arvis M. Wilson; a son, Donald Wilson of Blue Springs, Mo.; a daughter, Barbara Morgan of Trenton; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, Fred Wilson.
Friends may call from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Trenton Church of the Nazarene. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Revs. Roger Goff and Scott Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton. Arrangements are being handled by the Joseph Baker-Stevens Funeral Home.
Mary A. Wonderly
Mrs. Mary A. Wonderly, 70, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, Dec. 28, 1998.
She was born in West Carrollton, Ohio, on March 7, 1928, to the late Lucas "Luke" and Ruth (Brooks) Hurley. Mrs. Wonderly had volunteered and worked for the Society For Handicapped Citizens in Carlisle, Ohio, for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Stanley L. Wonderly; a daughter, Tracie Wonderly of Middletown; four sons, Randall Wonderly of Dayton, Michael (Sandra) Wonderly of Middletown, and Larry (Patricia) Wonderly and Ray (Crystal) Wonderly, both of Germantown; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson; her sister, Bernis (Murl) Kleinschmidt of Miamisburg; a brother, Wayne (Clarice) Hurley of Chautauqua; and numerous nieces and nephews.
