Liverpool and Charles of Las Vegas, Nev.; and a multitude of friends at Little Forest Nursing Home.
His greatest joys were found in his Irish Catholic heritage, membership in Holy Name Society, hunting, fishing, coaching his sons in baseball, watching the Browns and Indians, professional boxing career, camping with his Scout troops from St. Peter's and St. Mary's, cowboy days, building roads and fighting fires with the CCC in Idaho, playing his harmonica and singing ``Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ra,'' canoeing in his homemade canoe that he and his wife worked on, crafting homemade decoys and fishing lures, tending his roses--even from his wheelchair, surprising his wifey with breakfast in bed, chaperoning the games and dances at St. Mary's High School, cracking jokes with his great Irish wit and, most especially, in loving his family who meant so much to him and who cared for him at home for 25 years.
His faith in God and his church has sustained him and his family through his 33-year battle with multiple sclerosis. He was a giant among men . . . good night, our Knight in Shining Armor--``Raise one high with St. Patrick, until we meet again.''
