Your work on earth here is finally done
It's time to go home now to your father and his son.
Although I will miss you, I know that you'll be
An angel in heaven to watch over me.
I pray that your journey is peaceful with no fear,
But I know it will be, for they're waiting over there.
At the light they'll be standing to help see you through,
You'll hear the angels singing as they're walking next to you.
Walk now in silence, the Lord now in your sight
To hold onto your hand through this beautiful flight.
I take comfort in knowing that when I reach my fate,
You'll be waiting with love for me at the gate.
